We had a wonderful weekend getaway with friends. The house was immaculate! The photos don’t do it justice. Everything was labeled, cabinets and light switches which made for easy access to necessary items. The screened in porch was enjoyed by all. The view of the mountains from the front porch was amazing. Owner was quick to respond to any questions. Will definitely return.
We had a great time at Jane’s home! We needed a home with at least one room on the main level for my grandmother who is not comfortable with stairs! It was 5 adults and a 3 year old! The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking! The upstairs master has a beautiful bathroom! The downstairs rooms are a great size and the den can become an extra bedroom If you need it! My only real gripe is we had the toddler sleeping in the den so there was no where for us to watch football or movies after she went to sleep! The only other tv is in the upstairs master bedroom! Other than that I would definitely stay here again!
This property is well stocked and accurately portrayed. Area was exactly what we needed for the wedding we were attending at a nearby brewery. Jane was responsive as was her daughter when we had questions. You will not find a better kitchen. This home also has a piano for those interested. Near main roads and easy to get to downtown Asheville, this house is equipped with everything a traveler would need. Delightful!
Jane's place accommodated our family gathering of 10 very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Since we had two infants with us, enjoying the great restaurants of Asheville wasn't in the cards this time, however the kitchen has everything you might need to make wonderful meals.
Our family stayed here for 10 days in October 2023. Upon arrival, one of the things that stood out for me was the cleanliness of the kitchen. When I opened the silverware drawer and everything was neat and organized, clean and with clean drawer liner, I knew we were going to have a nice stay. We cooked most nights but did take the kids and grandkids out to My Father's Pizza in downtown Black Mountain (15 minute drive) and it was superb. Getting to the grocery store was a breeze. Drive out of the neighborhood and down the street right into the Ingle's parking lot. The home is on a cul-de-sac so there is absolutely no traffic. The neighbors are very pleasant. My husband is a road biker and he loved that he could ride right out of the house to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway. As far as I was concerned, there was nothing not to like about this house. My husband though would say there are two things; no TV room on the main level and no Cable TV. He could only find the ABC network, no CBS or NBC, so good college football viewing was not to be had. We come to the Blue Ridge Mountain area every Fall and this was by far the most clean home. We had a wonderful time.
We only wish we could have stayed longer! My husband and I met 2 of our children and their families for our first trip to the Biltmore. This beautiful home suited our needs perfectly. We all said that, if we knew Jane personally, we’re sure we would be friends!
We stayed in this beautiful home for our nephews wedding. It was wonderful due to the size and it was supplied with everything needed to celebrate with our family. It was very pet friendly for our fur babies with plenty of room to roam.
Thank you for sharing your home!

Excellent property for extended families and fiends.
Clean, ample amenities and comfortable.
Great kitchen and seating for 8+.
Location was close to major roads and adventures.
this house was perfect for our girls weekend. It was close to town, spacious and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Owner was responsive and helpful!
A wonderful place for a long vacation in Asheville
Jane's home was a comfortable, utilitarian, well located and maintained home for our two month stay in Asheville. Five minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, less than 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and close to a large supermarket, it was incredibly convenient for most activities. The home had numerous areas for groups of people to gather and a wonderful screened porch and uncovered deck to enjoy the outdoors.
Of our many rental stays, Jane's home had, by far, the best equipped kitchen with virtually any equipment a serious cook would need. Prior guests weren't the best housekeepers and some items required a little elbow grease, but for our extended stay, it was a perfect place to cook great food.
Jane was a wonderful host - she was immediately responsive when the rare problem occurred. My wife and I had a wonderful vacation and this residence was a major reason for that.
Overall, this is a great place to stay when visiting Asheville. For those who are planning to do a lot of cooking there are not many storage containers for left overs. The upstairs living space is bright and beautiful but could use additional seating for groups of 6 or more like ours. Finally, the downstairs bedroom at the back of the house could use some TLC.
We were in Asheville for a wedding and this lovely house served as our home base for all our activity. Close to downtown and other attractions. Jane was great to work with and the home offered a wonderful kitchen gathering area. Screened in porch made for awesome morning coffee discussions.
Great stay during the trip but received unexpected charge after
Jane's house was beautiful and the kitchen is truly a dream, as well as the outdoor spaces and closed in patio. She allowed early check-in and was easy to communicate with leading up to our stay. However, the day after we checked out I was surprised to be hit with a $40 charge noting "two stained or bleached towels and wash cloth". We went the extra mile to clean more than was requested before we left and no one in our group (just 6 people) had any stains or attempted to wash/bleach any towels while there. It's clearly an old stain since so many people are in and out of the house. This was the only reason for a lower rating, as she was quick to charge us without any sort of dialogue. While a small amount in the grand scheme of things, it felt petty for someone who is renting their house regularly.
We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Excellent host & super clean, bright, beautiful and comfy home. We’ll stay again anytime we’re in or near Asheville:) Thank you Jane!

I took a job teaching at American University in Washington, DC and did not want to give up my Asheville home. I have recently changed jobs and am now at Univ of Colorado in Boulder. I plan to move back when I retire, so the house has been decorated and maintained with that in mind - everything is high end.
Why they chose this property
I love to cook, so the kitchen is fabulous! Professional style range with Ventahood and warming lights. There are four very comfortable bedrooms, two living spaces (one with a huge TV), four outdoor spaces, a grill, grand piano. Walking distance to the Mountain to Sea trail. Close to downtown and all the Asheville options!
What makes this property unique
Large, open floor plan. Great gathering spots for groups - yet enough private space also.
