Bedroom 2: One sleeping 3 people with a double bed and a single bed, in the other bedroom sleeping 4 people has 4 single beds. Full kitchen fully equipped with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, clothes machine, stove, oven, water heater, also with sea view.
2 toilets, 1 with bath, bidet washbasin and toilet the other also complete but with shower. Gaz included. 1 car garage (with a slightly steep curve) and lift that takes you directly from the garage to the apartment floor.

Iris' place

Just because I give the-apartment-with-a-beach-view five stars doesn't mean that you will. Allow me explain The-apartment-with-a-beach-view has everything I want from a vacation by the beach. Most importantly, the balcony faces the Atlantic Ocean. Full 180° view of the blue water, more than 90° view of breaking surf (white water) and about a 45° view of a sandy beach. Everything else is secondary to me. The-apartment-with-a-beach-view has the basics: a place to cook, a place to eat, a place to sh*t/shower/shave, a place to sleep. Some people would find fault that all of these things are old and they show it. I say, "So what?" Does everything work? Yes. Is everything clean? Yes. Is everything included? Yes. I titled this review "Iris' Place" because she's the star if the show. Iris does everything from check-in to check-out. There were a couple of problems during my stay. Iris was right on top of each one. Bless you Iris!

5 jours à Armacao

Appartement situé sur le front de mer, en face du parc pour enfant et au dessus d’un petit supermarché. Le parking souterrain permet de stationner le véhicule. Bien situé entre Faro et Lagos, idéal pour visiter l’Algarve en voiture. L’appartement est très bien équipé, et confortable. La déco est dans son jus. Nous n’avons jamais réussi à faire fonctionner la machine à café (capsules introuvables), le petit café du coin nous a dépanné chaque matin :) La vue est magique et la proximité de la plage très appréciable. Merci à Iris pour son accueil et son sourire.

Localisation optimale pour un séjour à la mer

Nous avons été tres bien accueilli par Iris qui nous a reçu et expliqué les différents aspects de notre séjour. Comme évoqué dans la description, je n ai pas osé mettre la voiture au parking mais malgré le monde nous avons pu trouvé des places près de l appartement. Le lit 2 places, nécessiterait d’être changé urgemment et un manque criant de douche sur la plage, fait qu’on ramène beaucoup de sable avec nous Mais l’Appartement est tres bien équipé, une vue sympa sur la mer, le bruit des vagues toute la journée, des restaurants et bars partouts autour. Tres beau séjour!

Fantastic location

The property manager (Ana) was proactive in her communication. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Iris, who let us in and explained how everything worked. She was incredibly kind and helpful. The place had a few spots that could’ve been cleaner, however she noted that and said that they had hired a Ukrainian refugee who was learning how to clean. I appreciated that and was grateful to hear that they were helping the refugee. Otherwise, the place was great. You can’t have a better view or location. Everything is walking distance. You are ocean front. We have young children and we were happy to have a kids park right in front of the apartment. There are 2 full bathrooms which is rare for a T2. The only cons are that there is no AC and only one fan. It gets a bit warm inside. The other is the parking. It was nothing short of terrifying to park in the garage. It is the steepest drop I’ve ever encountered and when we were leaving, it took 2 tries to get out, while neighbours looked down from their balconies. They also said it was unusually difficult of a car park. I wouldn’t park there again unless I had a very small vehicle. That being said, we would stay in the apartment again, and we would rent from Ana again as well. We will recommend this place to family and friends.

Excellent value, shame about the flies!

Lovely stay in a lovely part of the Algarve. Absolutely spoiled as not busy at all due to covid. Restaurants great, beach great, weather great. Apartment was reasonably comfortable for our age group but not quite perfect. My children and grandchildren would have found it perfect and for families it is. Bed could have had a slightly better quality mattress. Shower curtain hard plastic which didn’t give much movement in the small shower. Cooker needs new dial as no idea where the setting are as so worn off. Friends thought shower head too small and it made the water very hot but when they turned it down the boiler cut off. Nothing to do with host whatsoever but we happened to be there when the fruit flys were hatching and we couldn’t use the balcony for 2 days. We were also bitten badly while in bed which may have been them but not sure. Unfortunately there are no mosquito doors or nets and therefore can’t have windows or doors open although the caretaker did point out there was a can of fly killer! Having asthma we couldn’t use that. There is also very bad sound proofing from flats around us. The car parking offered was useless to us as too steep with a cute bend and could not get the car safely down. Small cars I’m sure no trouble. We live in Portugal and visit the Algarve 3/4 times a year. We will return to the area but not not to this property as we feel perfect for the younger generation not us. Thank you Ana for allowing to stay.

Très central, proche de tout !! À essayer !

L'appartement est conforme à l'annonce et aux photos. Très bien situé, bien calme et la terrasse est très appréciable. Très bien équipé et spacieux. Ascenseur. Toutefois, le garage a une très jolie descente, bien pentue qui peut en effrayer plus d'un,mais il semble que cela soit la norme au Portugal. Très bon séjour à recommander, Iris est ultra disponible, aux petits soins des vacanciers, Un grand Merci !!!

Great vacation

We spent a week in the apartment and found it to be very clean, comfortable and well situated. There is also a small supermarket downstairs which was very convenient.

Vista espectacular

Apartamento bem situado ao pé da praia, cómodo e com uma vista espectacular. A anfitriã Ana, muito simpática. A garagem tem a entrada muito íngreme, mais apropriada a carros do "tipo Jipe"

Big apartmatment great veiw

Nice flat for six people. Plenty of room and a great location. Gas was supplied so no need to pay for it. Super fast broadband. Was better than I was expecting, we had a car but didn’t really use it. There is a parking space with this flat. Would definitely stay again.

Good apartment

Very good apartment, very well furnished for a family of 5 people. There is one point to highlight on the negative way as it was the first time staying in apartment that i needed to buy by myself the gas and not included into the price paid ... pricy by the way. Cleaning lady was very rude on the first day when we arrived but the mood for beach holidays was into our mind and we just pass that bad moment and enjoyed the holidays.

Oceanfront property

This apartment is ideally located above a grocery store, steps away from the beach, and in front of a playground. It was ideal for our family of three (2 adults and a toddler). There are 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms which makes this an easy place to share. We also enjoyed the satellite tv with plenty of English channels. Leonardo was very kind and reachable by phone and email and spoke English well. The playground attracted a lot of kids and was wonderful for our child to be able to play with other kids. Plus, the free wifi at the park was nice. The underground parking garage allows you to go from the apartment to the car with ease via the elevator which was nice as we were traveling with a stroller. The grocery store has everything you need during your stay. We would pop in and grab water and snacks daily. The local farmers market is a mere 5 minutes away by foot and has fresh seafood, fruits, veggies & meats. We found the area to be very inexpensive. Apparently, the town is busiest in July & August but we visited in May and it was a sleepy town. We lucked out with warm beach weather (26 degrees everyday) though it was a bit windy at times. We didn't find any good restaurants in the immediate area. Having a rental car made our trip very enjoyable. Albuferia was a bustling town with an abundance of restaurants and was only 20 mins by car. We would gladly stay here again simply because of the proximity to the ocean; the apartment is literally on the beach. Other towns we visited lacked this as the apartments and hotels were not oceanfront. you had to walk which sounds silly but when you have a toddler with you and ALL of the stuff that goes with that it makes a difference.
