š¶This is the perfect spot to get away from it all. Our home is peaceful, quiet, and has plenty of distance from any neighbors. In fact, there's a good chance you won't even see anyone around the home or on the lake. Our home is on a very quiet cove and Mayo Lake itself has little to no boat traffic, even in the summer.
We are only 15 minutes from Hyco Lake, and Mayo Lake has a much more private feel than Hyco Lake.

This beautiful home has lots of windows and incredible views of the lake. The floor plan is open and you will be greeted with beautiful pine floors as you enter. The views are amazing! In our cove there are often Snowy White Egrets, Blue Herons, jumping fish, turtles, and sometimes Bald Eagles and Beavers. The fishing on our dock is fantastic. You can catch Crappie and Bass. The night sky is incredible and you'll love looking for shooting stars at night.
š£āāļøOur home comes with 3 paddleboards and 2 kayaks for your use. We also have several different sizes of life jackets. Our cove is an absolutely beautiful place to explore by paddleboard or kayak. (And by the way, if you haven't tried paddleboarding, it is incredibly fun! You can stand, sit, or kneel. You feel like you are on top of the water!)
šOur dock is the perfect place to lay in the sun and enjoy the serene beauty or jump in the lake and go for a swim. We keep several noodles and floaties at the house with an electric pump. There is a ladder that makes it easy to get in and out of the lake. There is room to tie up your boat and/or jet skis. The marina is only 5 minutes away (by boat or car)!
šThere is a large deck in the back of the house overlooking the lake with a large table and 8 chairs. There is also a propane grill for cooking out.
š„The backyard has a fire pit to roast your hotdogs and marshmallows or you can just enjoy the fire with the gorgeous lake as a backdrop. We try to keep plenty of firewood at the home for our guests.
