Whispering River Ranch is the most beautiful, breathtaking, and exclusive all-seasons destination for individuals, families, and corporations desiring a serene getaway in Breckenridge, Colorado. Whispering River Ranch is nestled on fifteen pristine acres with approximately a half-mile of river frontage at the fork of the Swan and Blue Rivers and adjacent to the White River National Forest.

The eight-bedroom luxury lodge can accommodate 24 and is close to an array of year-round outdoor activities. Winter sports and activities include skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. Summer sports and activities include hiking, fly fishing, golf, mountain biking, nature watching, 4-wheeling, and lake activities. Whispering River Ranch is your destination for memories that will last a lifetime.

Enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our visit to Breck and Frisco, with this home as our base camp. We appreciated our host's quick and joyful responses to a few things that needed attention. Loved the fire in the morning, and the river in the afternoon.

very nice accomodations. There were some problems but management took care of them promptly. The facility is huge and the game room provided excellent fun time for the kids and adults alike.Location is prime right along the river. I wish the landscaping would have been better maintained

Wonderful house by Blue River
We loved the peaceful location right by the river. The views from the house were beautiful! Our family liked having bedrooms with a bathroom & deck access. We enjoyed the lovely yard, especially the fire pit where you could hear the rushing water of the Blue River. The grandkids liked playing in the game room. It was great having room for our large family to spread out. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone wanting to relax in a wonderful location close to everything.

Wedding at Whispering River Ranch
We had our micro-wedding at Whispering River Ranch and it was absolutely gorgeous! The grounds were breathtaking and provided the perfect space for our special day. All 17 of our wedding attendees were able to stay on the property, which made for a very intimate, connected experience as we joined our families together.

House was great for multiple families. Beautiful views from house (better if windows had been cleaned). Kids loved game room. Took 48 hours to have someone respond to plumbing issues. When plumber did come, very courteous.

Absolutely wonderful home
This home is amazing. We had 18 people here (10 children and 8 adults), and you would never have known it. We went for NYE and a friend's 40th bday celebration. Everything was perfect. The house almost looked too good to be true from the pictures, I thought it may have been fake ha! It most definitely was not. A favorite: sitting in the living room by the fire looking out the windows (each one looking like a painting) was so relaxing. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely Outdoor Area
The home is well located outside of Breckenridge and near Frisco and Dillon. The outdoor area was super with a fire pit where we set up corn hole that was provided. Plenty of bedrooms each with their own bathroom. The house is a bit dated and needs some upgrades ( like carpeting and some appliances) but our family certainly enjoyed themselves!

A Little Bit of Heaven
This house provided the perfect place for our family if 17 to get away from the heat in Kansas and spend a week together. Plenty around to be as active as you want or beautiful enough by the Blue River right out the back door to just chill out by fire pit and let time slow down!!!!! We had a little problem with water pressure last day or so but I’m sure had I contacted Mindy it would have been resolved. We love having corn hole tournaments and when I inquired if house had a set, Mindy said no but she would get one out there for us. If you rent this place, take in all the things to do around the area (and there is a lot to do) but leave equal time to just enjoy and relax.

We had 14 total; 7 adults and kids ranging ages 6-14. Very spacious and kids loved the game room. Some went fly/fishing on property and ample space to sit outside. Excellent location.

Perfect location right on the river. Enormous home with plenty of bed rooms and bathrooms. We had 17 in our party and still had more bedrooms than we could use. Mindy the owner was very responsive to text. We would love to come back next summer.

Amazing, picturesque setting!
We had a family reunion at Whispering Pines and found the property to be breathtaking! The views and location cannot be beat! We greatly enjoyed all the bedrooms with private bathrooms and deck access as it felt kind of like a hotel. The main floor layout was accommodating for large groups and the huge windows gave everyone something to be in awe of over morning coffee. We saw wildlife and enjoyed fly fishing. The river was loud and mesmerizing and the beds were very comfortable. We got great sleep! We did have some heating and plumbing issues on our stay and Mindy was very prompt about getting maintenance to the property several times. Unfortunately, not all the problems got fixed as this is an older home that is in need of repairs. In the end we made satisfactory compromises and would definitely come stay again with the up front knowledge that this home needs some repairs. Absolutely stunning and serene environment!

We really enjoyed our stay at the ranch! Our extended family came for the week to celebrate my husbands 50th and it was perfect for our large group of adults and older kids (ages 11-17). We loved the game room, hot tub, fire pit and huge fireplace! My husband loved fishing the river most days right out the back door and the close proximity to several ski mountains was great as well. Highly recommend!

Memories Made
This was the perfect place for us! The location can't be beat! Close to Dillon and Frisco, super close to Breck! The house is great for a large family, 15 for us, several common areas, but enough bedrooms, everyone could have their own space! And when the babies went to bed, the common areas, kitchen/DR/LR are far enough away that the laughter and fun doesn't wake them up. We loved the fire pit, spent every night enjoying one another with a drink in one hand and a smore in another. Two washers and 2 dryers, upstairs no less! We loved the stream, cold, but shallow enough to wade in. Overall, great home where we made a lot of memories!

Perfect for multifamily gathering
Perfect location for getting together with parents, siblings and their families from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Texas. Many activities for people with a large home for gathering and spending time together for meals and down time. Beds were comfortable. House was nearly soundproof with sleeping area upstairs from the living area and kitchen where we gathered for games and stories. The fire pit was nice next to the river at night for Smores. The hot tub was relaxing. Mindy was a very responsive host. Out of her way to make sure we had everything and even went out to get an appliance we felt we needed for food prep. The flowers were beautiful and the property is inviting. Close enough to the stores and touristy things yet felt like you were miles away from everything sitting outside next to the river with everyone. My nephew enjoyed learning to fly fish on the river access outside the back door. We had 21 stay comfortably. Each bedroom had private bathing/shower which was nice. Highly recommend this property!

Frintz family reunion
The home, location and amenities exceptional. It accommodated all 24 of us with room to spare. The new property manager was a delight to work with as she addressed all our concerns and issues immediately. Although the property had some issues of maintenance they two were being addressed as needed. In summary, the property is fabulous and is in a quiet and secluded location that any large group will have a great and memorable stay!

Absolutely Perfect
This was my first time renting with Vrbo and I was a bit nervous to do it with such a large property. The home is amazing and was perfect for our group of friends for a 4 day getaway. The home matches the listing exactly, and even surprised us by how much bigger and better it looks in person than in the photos. We were also amazed by how close the river is to the home, and how much we used the outdoor fireplace. Melanie was also an amazing host and always responded to messages promptly. Highly recommend and will be back!
