If you're looking for that private yet easily accessible cabin on a creek, this is it! It is perfectly situated above a large chattering creek that can be seen and heard while relaxing or dining on the porch. The picturesque stairway down through the tree canopy will take you to a picnic table, bench and firepit right beside the creek. Be sure to take your fishing pole because you're sure to see a rainbow trout or two on the 120 ft of shoreline right on the property. Perfect water playground for children of all ages. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a single sleeper sofa in the living room. This offers plenty of room for 5 (or 6 if you don't mind sleeping on a couch). There are 2 full bathrooms. The living room has a roku tv and a DVD player with a large selection of DVDs. Both bedrooms have a tv and DVD player. Very good cell service over the entire property. The kitchen, dining area and living room are all openly connected so that all can be together. It's truly an amazing place!
You’ll find plenty of waterfalls in the area. There are several Appalachian trail trailheads nearby. Jackrabbit biking/hiking trail has over 13 miles of trails and is only 15 minutes away. Lake Chatuge offers boating, tubing and jet skiing. Hiawassee is only 5 miles away and Helen is 20 miles away so there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities.

We have stayed at Creeksong quite a few times and it never fails to satisfy! We always have so much fun. Even though it was a rainy, cold weekend, it was the perfect relaxing long weekend we needed! Thanks again!
nice cabin, good location.allergies to dust and cabin had a lot of dust. Hot water does not work well in main bath, so we all had to shower in master bedroom. Twin beds in 2nd bedroom not very comfortable.location and cabin itself were very good.
This was our family’s second stay at Creeksong cabin and it was absolutely amazing! We were so happy to end the year here and ring in 2025. We love the location to town, hiking, and the fire by the creek really heals the soul and mind. We can’t wait to be back and love that we’ve found this little slice of paradise.
Although it rained for most of our stay, the property was perfect for snuggling up and enjoying the river flow. Very clean and well stocked with essentials. Would definitely recommend the place!
It's a simple 2br2b cabin with wood paneling and a functional kitchen. The draw is the creek. If you want to camp by a creek with a fire pit and lights and spend the day outdoors, but don't want to haul your wood and don't actually want to do the "camping" part, this is perfect. We enjoyed it.
Totally enjoyed our travels in the area. House had cabin feel with wifi access. Loved the fire pit and creek view. Wish list for future stay is only to have higher toilets for us taller people.
Our family of 3 stayed at Creeksong for a quick weekend away to enjoy the GA Mountain Fair and concert. The cabin was wonderful, just what we needed. My other half sat by the creek both mornings playing his guitar, while I enjoyed coffee on the porch. Our 8 year was so excited to have a DVD player in her room, she picked out Cloudy w/ a Chance of Meatballs from the selection and fell asleep to it both nights. I wish we had more time to enjoy the creek, we plan on coming back. Thank you for a great time!
This was our second stay at Creeksong Cabin and it was even more enjoyable than the first. The cabin is in a beautiful setting with a terrific covered back porch situated above a fast flowing creek and nearly isolated from its neighbors by thick trees. The cabin cannot be seen from the road for added privacy. It is not fancy, but it is very comfortable and nicely decorated, and has all room you need. The full kitchen is wonderful, and the master bedroom is plenty big with a king bed. And we did catch fish! We will definately go back. It is the perfect home away from home!
Very comfortable, cozy cabin in a great neighborhood. Enjoyed sitting by the river, wading in the river, and the sounds and views of the river from the deck. Plenty of great hiking and scenic spots within a close drive. 51 stairs from the deck down to the backyard, but otherwise perfect! Well equipped kitchen.
Nice, comfortable cabin, fully equipped with everything we'd need. Very peaceful and private. Loved the creek and the fire pit beside. The creek current is pretty swift, but there are places along the edge for kids to climb on rocks and play. Great location with quick access to Helen and Hiawassee.
The cabin is very peaceful. The sound of the river is so calming We enjoyed the mountains and cute town. If you have a person who can’t walk well this is not the place for you if you like sitting by the river. There are a lot of stairs and unsteady ground to the river. But, so beautiful once you get there!!
Leisha's place was the perfect spot for a solo retreat after a long year of work and life demands. The creek's "song" is so present and clean there, and I was refreshed!! Everything one could expect to need was provided, plus extra. (I bought some wood and left it there even though they have a covered pile). I made a fire by the creek, floated in the creek, listened to and played music on the porch with some coffee, or a glass of wine, and cooked a couple of meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoyed going up and down the many steps to get to the creek and back! Bed was not bad at all but would bring my pillows as a personal preference. The store is ten minutes away. And I was glad that the property was easily accessible with my regular sedan. Had I stayed more than a day, I surely would have checked out the area attractions, but like I said this was a quiet getaway and the cabin was all I needed. I could have been entertained for days with the ample book and video collections. Wifi was nonstop and phone worked great, too. I could see some close friends or a small family having a wonderful stay just relaxing and being together here. I'll make more time for my next visit and bring the hubs, he'll love it. Thank you so much for sharing this space, I can't wait to return!
