Quiet renovated farmhouse with private pool near Montignac Lascaux

In the heart of the Périgord Noir, you will be charmed by this old typical farmhouse and completely restored with care and taste while offering you all modern comfort. The Domaine du Colombier has a surface area of one hectare, will appeal to all lovers of nature and peace and will offer you with certainty a serene stay in an idyllic and peaceful area near the most famous tourist sites.
This superb set of beautiful stones can easily accommodate 12 people in two buildings overlooking a central courtyard: the barn and the house.

- fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, oven, coffee maker, American fridge ...
- cellar with storage, fridge with 4-drawer freezer, vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board, washing machine.

- bedroom with a 160cm double bed
- bedroom with two 90cm single beds (which can be put together to make a double bed)
- bathroom with bathtub and WC

You will benefit from a significant luminosity because the rooms are equipped with large windows or bay windows. In the barn you will have a television on the ground floor and upstairs as well as WIFI access.

THE HOUSE
In this building you will find 4 bedrooms (2 with a 160cm double bed and 2 with two 90cm single beds, which can be put together), one with independent access and all equipped with a bathroom and a television.

These two buildings are joined by the central courtyard with the swimming pool and the covered terrace.
The 4x9m pool is equipped with a roller shutter for the safety of children, with a constant depth of 1.60m and equipped with a small paddling pool where the little ones can sit. The pool is heated to 25 ° C. You will also find the wooden terrace with its source, its garden table, the sun loungers and the barbecue for convivial moments with the family.

At 20m from this farmhouse, you can easily park 5 cars in the hangar converted into a parking lot. Children will have the space to play around this area because no other homes are nearby and space is guaranteed!

Wonderful break

Really great venue for our group of 8 . Lots of bbq and games and swimming in the pool! Perfect location for village markets, river canoeing, dog walks. Great memories!!

Domaine du colombier

Cet endroit doit être parfait en saison estivale. Nous y avons passé 6 nuits pour Noël. A notre arrivée, 2 des 6 chambres n'étaient pas ou insuffisamment chauffées. Malgré la réactivité des hôtes, il a fallu deux jours pour solutionner de façon acceptable le problème. Entre temps, nous nous étions répartis sur 5 chambres et n'avons pas utilisé pleinement la 6ème ; pas envie de tout déménager. Sur le l'annonce il était mentionné: une grange pouvant accueillir 5 véhicules; sur place, 2 machines agricoles occupaient 2 emplacements. Il n' existe pas de service de ramassage des déchets et ordures ménagères sur place (pas spécifié) il faut se rendre aux points de collecte! entre 2 & 5 km. Pour les recyclables c'est fastidieux mais faisable. Pour les déchets ultimes, il faut 1badge pour accéder aux containers les plus proches mais celui-ci n'est pas disponible pour nous!!! Conseil de notre contact: "posez vos sacs à côté des bacs". Il faut donc se balader avec les sacs poubelle, (nous étions 11) jusqu'à des containers libres d'accès mais nécessitant des bottes, beaucoup d'esprit civique et écologique pour y parvenir. Ceci est d'autant plus désagréable que la somme demandé pour le ménage est conséquente. Somme qui n'apparait pas dans le descriptif initial et qui n'est mentionnée que lorsque vous avez réglé la totalité de la réservation. Pas cool. Pour finir, nous avons passé de bons moments en famille dans une maison agréable; sapin décoré et bouteille cadeau. Pour finir,

Un magnifique domaine rénové

Nous étions 10, les bâtiments bien conçus permettaient d'être tous ensemble, sous le préau ou dans la salle, avec des chambres disposant chacune de douche et WC. Piscine un peu froide à l'arrivée, mais les propriétaires ont été très reactifs. Situé au calme dans une impasse, pas de vis à vis.. et de nombreux sites et la Vezere sont très proches. Nous recommandons !

Really Enjoyed Our Stay

The property was very spacious, the pool was lovely, outside terrace for eating was great. Peaceful surroundings. Cafe just down the lane. Country walk on the right of the gite to Plazac. Very pleasant. Great Health Food shop. One downside was that there was no welcome pack ie milk, tea,coffee or toiletries. Otherwise great stay.

Le charme d une belle demeure au calme de la campagne

Très belle ferme rénovée avec goût. Chaque chambre où presque avec salle d'eau et wc; parfait pour notre groupe de 11 amis. Seul " petit" bemol , un peu éloigné de la vallée de la Dordogne où nous avons fait plusieurs escapades. Mais Bravo pour la rénovation
