Cozy cottage in the heart of the Munster valley with beautiful view of the peaks

You have found our little nest in the heart of the Munster valley. Ideal cottage to spend a pleasant moment with family or friends.
The Gîte des Sittelles is a 65 m² wooden duplex, adjoining the house with a 25 m² wooden terrace. Two bedrooms (2x2 beds) and you can even unfold the sofa (2 places), there is room for everyone.
Here you are at Vert. Or Blanc if you come in winter, it works too!
Once arrived, your luggage tidy in the fir cupboards, you are faced with a dilemma: enjoy the comfort of this duplex, well curled up on the sofa with a cup of tea or be tempted by the call of these pretty mountains that you can see from all sides.
If your heart bends over for the ride, go, just at the end of the road awaits the Petit Ballon and its panoramic view, hours of hiking in perspective.
And even by car, we cross the village, we enter the forest and go for the hike.
And when we get back, what a joy to be able to relax on the terrace or to meet around a good table! Spend the evening warm in this little bubble of calm, then spend a good night knowing that you will still enjoy the next day ...

Eine schöne Ferienwoche
Wir haben in dieser topausgestatteten Ferienwohnung eine tolle Woche verbracht. Es fehlt hier wirklich an nichts und der Wohnbereich ist modern eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich. Die Vermieterin hat uns mit selbstgemachtem Kuchen empfangen und uns tolle Tips für Wanderungen gegeben. Diesbezüglich liegt auch viel Infomaterial in der Wohunung aus. Es war bestimmt nicht der letzte Urlaub, den wir hier verbracht haben.

Fijn en knus huisje
Het huisje staat op een leuke plek op loopafstand van Munster. In de keuken is alles ruimschoots aanwezig en functioneert het naar behoren. De bedden zijn prima. Bij aankomst stond er een fles biologische appelsap en, heel schattig, een lekker zelfgebakken appeltaartje. We werden goed geïnformeerd over alle bezienswaardigheden en mooie wandelingen. In het huisje is ook veel documentatie aanwezig over de omgeving. We hadden een fijn verblijf!

toller Urlaub im Elsass
Die Wohnung ist sehr schön. Sie bietet eine wundervolle Aussicht ins Grüne. Der Boden der Gartenterrasse ist nagelneu verlegt. Terrasse und Garten laden zum Entspannen ein. Der Empfang durch die Vermieterin war überaus herzlich . Wir wurden mit einer warmen Pflaumentorte empfangen. Wir waren mit unserem Hund dort. Der Garten ist komplett umschlossen, so dass der Hund frei laufen konnte. Wenige Gehminuten vom Haus kann man wunderschön mit dem Vierbeiner spazieren gehen. Die Lage ist sehr gut geeignet, um von das Elsass zu erkunden. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wir waren im September für eine Woche dort und haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Excellent séjour - Gîte confortable et très bien situé
Gîte très accueillant (merci encore pour la brioche et jus de pomme), lumineux et avec une superbe vue. On s'y sent vraiment bien. La location est en plus très bien équipée, barbecue à disposition. La terrasse sous les arbres est très agréable ; bien que le temps ne nous ait pas permis de longuement en profiter. L'emplacement est idéal: au calme, avec départs de balades à la porte et Munster accessible à pied. Hôte très sympathique et d'excellent conseil sur les adresses locales et balades. Merci pour cette superbe semaine.

Passez votre chemin !
Bon, remettons l’église au milieu du village … Cette annonce ne vous dit pas tout et les photos cachent un autre « visage » de cette location. Tout d’abord si les photos laissent penser à une partie d’un chalet, il n’en ai rien ! Il s’agit d’une annexe d’un ancien bâtiment qui est en partie occupé par une dame âgée et d’un deuxième appartement. Pour accéder à la location vous devez passer par le jardin de la personne qui occupe le bâtiment principal. Ne pensez-pas que le bâtiment se trouve dans un cadre idyllique. Il n’en est rien ! la location se trouve à 5 minutes à pied du centre de Munster, autant dire dans la ville … Celui qui pense passer le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse à admirer la vue, passez votre chemin. Mais à mon sens ce n’est pas le plus grave. Comme repris sur le descriptif de l’annonce, la location est un duplex. Les chambres et la sdb se trouvent au « rez » et la pièce living / cuisine au 1er étage. Cependant comme le terrain est en pente, ce qui est le rez (chambres) est en fait au niveau des caves du bâtiment principal. Est c’est bien là que pose le problème … Car du coup les pièces sont froides et surtout humides !!! Quand nous sommes arrivés toutes les fenêtres étaient ouvertes. Et pour cause, ils ont essayé d’évacuer au plus vite l’humidité ambiante et les odeurs. Le chauffage était coupé, impossible de donner un coup de chaud dans ces pièces et de toutes façons pour évacuer l’humidité il faut plusieurs jours. Quand est venu le moment de se laver, la sdb était froide et y reposait sur la tablette de la fenêtre des dizaines de cadavres d’insectes. Sans compter 4 araignées et leurs toiles … Quand nous sommes rentré le lit, les draps était humides ! après plusieurs heures, avec la chaleur des corps, cette sensation était décuplée, une horreur ! Nous avons dû se rabattre sur le clic-clac du salon pour espérer passer un semblant de nuit. Au passage, dans le salon, aussi des insectes morts devant les fenêtres. Quand vous refermez les fenêtres une odeur désagréable s’installe dans le bâtiment. Nous ne pouvions pas passer nos vacances dans ce lieu. Nous avons donc décidé de quitter cette location et j’ai envoyé un message à la propriétaire pour lui signaler et en demandant si possible le remboursement des nuits non passées. Dans un premier temps, elle se voyait désolée et m’a confirmé le remboursement. Le lendemain, ce n’était déjà plus la même chanson et c’est retranchée derrière les conditions générales du site Abritel.

10 sehr schöne Tage
Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich von Frau Graff aufgenommen. Es gab eine entsprechende Hausführung durch die Räumlichkeiten und Informationen zur Umgebung und den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (lecker lokaler Markt in Munster). Außerdem einen leckeren Kuchen von der Hausherrin und einen eigenen Saft, ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, extrem wenig Verkehr und gut zum erholen. Man kann Touren direkt vom Haus starten. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt, was uns mit unserem Vierbeiner sehr entgegen kam. Das "Ferienhaus" ist die umgebaute, ehemalige Scheune. Die Besitzer wohnen selbst nicht vorort, gelegentlich am Wochenende. Eine ältere Dame bewohnt das Haupthaus, ist aber selten anwesenend bzw. wir haben Sie nicht bemerkt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Man hat ausreichend Geschirr und muss nicht nach einer Mahlzeit die Teller spülen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!! Ein erneuter Aufenhalt ist nicht ausgeschlossen!

Perfect quiet stay with gorgeous view
Place was a perfect home base for many hikes and cycling trips. On foot to the center of Munster in 5 to 10 minutes, really ideal. Great host.

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage
Wir wurden sehr herzlich, zudem mit einem frisch gebackenen Kuchen, von dem Vermieterehepaar empfangen. Das Haus ist von der Ausstattung und Lage sehr empfehlenswert. Es liegt zentral mitten im Elsass und man kann zu Fuß und mit dem Auto viele schöne Ausflüge machen.

Ski Holiday
Gîte joliment décoré à 2 pas de Munster. Cuisine bien équipée. Accueil chaleureux. L'objectif du séjour était d'initier les enfants au ski alpin à la station de "Le Schnepfenried". Ce gîte est l'endroit idéal pour cela.

L'appartement est confortable ,pratique et agréable à vivre,très lumineux. Attention ce n'est pas un chalet, les photos ne montrent pas que l'appartement est le prolongement d'une maison et qu'il y a un appartement au dessus. L'accueil très agréable avec une brioche et jus de pomme

Ce gîte tient toutes ses promesses..
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le gîte de Christine, qui est à l'écoute des besoins spécifiques de ses hôtes (enfant en bas âge) et qui nous a accueilli avec un excellent cake fait maison! le gite est bien situé, au calme mais pas très loin du centre ville de Munster et à proximité de la station du Schnepfenried. Même quand le temps était maussade, il faisait bon de rester à l'intérieur du à contempler les Vosges enneigées. Nous le conseillons vivement.

Wundervolles Ferienhaus mit schönem Ausblick mitten im Elsass
Wir waren mit 5 Personen in diesem Ferienhaus und wurden sehr freundlich von der Vermieterin empfangen. Sie wohnt nicht vor Ort, ist bei Fragen aber gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Die schöne Wohnung ist ruhig neben zahlreichen alten Bäumen gelegen. Gleichzeitig ist der Ort Munster über einen Fußweg in 10 Min. erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und funktional eingerichtet und stimmt mit der Objektbeschreibung überein. Es war ein toller Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus, den wir mit Wandern, Baden und Chillen sehr genießen konnten.

Urlaub von Anfang an-wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
sehr nette Vermieter, schöne Lage in der Nähe von Munster aber auch nah an den Bergen. Wir haben uns sofort zuhause gefühlt und die große Terrasse im Schatten der Bäume genossen, auch von dort kann man durch den Wohnraum den Blick auf die Berge genießen. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Bei dem warmen Wetter waren die Schlafzimmer im Untergeschoss angenehm kühl. Wir möchten uns noch einmal bei Frau Graff für die schönen Tage und den leckeren Kuchen bedanken. T. Heiber

Tolle Ferienwohnung in einer herrlichen Gegend. Sehr nette Vermieterin.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Vermieterin begrüßt mit einem leckeren Kuchen. Die Entfernung zur Stadtmitte war fußläufig erreichbar. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und können es nur weiter empfehlen.
