disappointed

I was super excited to stay at what looked to be a great place. First off couldnt get code to work on door and had to call for help. The house smelled of trash but no trash was found anywhere. Cobwebs galore. very sparsely lit, and the lamps had lightbulbs that didn't work or the lamps were not working.

RELAXING PLACE!!

Very nice place, just couple of things. I was plugging in my speaker which was under a very unstable furniture, so when I got up I hit my head with the edge and a ceramic fell into my back and broke =(. Also the grill was soooo filthy that it took my husband 90min to clean it, so considering the high cleaning fee we pay I think the grill should be included and ready for use. BTW....I bought a very nice ceramic peace that can be used as a cookie, sugar Jar to compensate for the broken one. Thanks again =)

View was great...but beds were hard and uncomfortable, and the house had a not so pleasant odor.

Other than the uncomfortable beds and odor it was ok

Columbus Day

We go to Ruidoso regularly and this is my favorite cabin yet. The views from the deck are amazing. TV and internet work well. The bird watching at this place was like nothing I had ever seen before. So many different birds. There were a few bugs, but that is to be expected this time of year with it getting colder outside. We would love to stay here again. I would say, if there is absolutely any chance of snow this property could be very difficult to get to.

Nice getaway

Cabin was clean and cozy! My favorite part of it was the deck, we loved sitting out there. The only thing that was a negative for me was the steep driveway and steep slopes surrounding the cabin. Obviously it is in the mountains and the only reason I say it’s a negative is because my mom was walking her dog and had a nasty fall, dislocating her shoulder🙁. There are no ceiling fans, but there are portable fans in an upstairs closet. Overall, a great place to stay!

Springtime in Ruidoso

First vacation in 3 years. The cabin met our needs & provided us a nice getaway. This was our second stay at Eagles Perch. Our only regret; the wind was so strong, we didn’t get to enjoy the back deck like we were wanting to. Springtime is unpredictable even in the “paradise of Ruidoso”!

Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

Just small things that you guys would want to know. The bedroom with the teal bed frame needs sheets replaced. They have sticky spots and stains. Looks like candy that won’t come off. We didn’t carry food upstairs so was their previous. The thermostat needs to be balanced. Weatherstripping around the locked door in the dining room sings when wind blows. These things are completely cosmetic and didn’t influence our stay. Just if we owned this house we would want someone to tell us. Thanks again The lea family.

Eagles Perch-Great Place to Stay

This was a great cabin-Just as it is pictured. Great upper canyon views off both front and back porch. The bed was comfortable and they had everything there we needed. It was nice weather when we stayed here but I can sure see why you would need tire chains to visit in the winter during bad weather. We would stay at Eagle's Perch again!
