Low cost, no frills stay
The room was barely ok to stay for a short visit, needs some upgrades in the bathroom, and there are fraying curtains, one sad futon and with no comfortable chairs to sit. If you don't spend time in the room, the location is great, and the price is low.
Perfect location, just a few short minutes walk to beach. Just far away enough from the loud busy beach front. Easy place to stay. Only wished AC was a little stronger since I’m easily hot but I managed ok. Thank you again Mark!
Simple room. Great communication with owner in preparation for the trip. Good location in Waikiki.

The place was very dirty and in desperate need of upgrades. It looked like the shower tiles had been painted over, but the paint was peeling and therefore could not be cleaned. There was black/dirty soap scum all around the base of the shower. There was grime buildup all around the edge of the tiled floors and on the base boards. There were stains, watermarks, and peeling paint throughout the apartment. The drapes were old and tattered, fraying at the edges. The beds were sagging in the middle and not at all comfortable. The small sofa was dirty and extremely uncomfortable. The one good thing about the apartment was the location, but I would not recommend staying here until the place has been upgraded.

The beds were awful the place was dirty. Shower is made for 5ft and under. Sofa coach had wholes in it. Fridge is smaller than any dorm fridge and stunk. No place in shower to put her toiletries

This property is very close to the beach and has lots of shopping within walking distance. We had a problem with the bathroom lights, not realising that there was a dimmer on the switch. We contacted the host and they were at the property within a couple of hours.

Not what I expected.
My sister and I were taken back as soon as we walked in. The unit was hot, and it smelled musty. The AC unit despite being cranked all the way barely kept the unit cool enough due to being old. The curtains were ripped and didn’t keep the sunlight out. Floors were dirty and corners very very dusty. Bulb out in the bathroom. Parking is $40 a night! But we lucked out by driving every night until we found street parking nearby. We expressed our concerns but not much changed besides a light bulb. Dark, dingy and warm.

The room is a hotel room so it was tiny for 4 people HOWEVER it was in a central location near everything. It was a short walk to the beach and various restaurants and tour pick up locations.
