If you want to do something a bit more active than watching a movie, surf the web via the free WiFi, or catch up on your reading, head downstairs to the game room to shoot some pool.
When it comes to meals, you have multiple options. You can get cooking in the fully equipped kitchen and eat at the dining table, which seats 6. (There’s also a sweet little table for 2 right in the kitchen, with a beautiful view of the trees and the seemingly endless sky.) In warmer weather you can dine out on the upper deck; the fresh mountain breezes make everything taste a little better. Or you can head to one of the many nearby restaurants. While the open upper deck is ideal for warming yourself in the sunshine, the covered lower deck is perfect for keeping cool in the shade. When you’re not sipping coffee and admiring the sunrise as you kick back in one of its chairs, you can luxuriate in its hot tub. A long soak among the massaging jets of water will be especially restorative when you return from hiking, skiing, or fishing. A hot tub is also a wonderful place for reveling in the beauty of the star-studded sky before turning in for the night.
