The house was even more spacious than we expected ! Very comfortable home. The history and the decor reflects the family love that has been experienced through many generations. We enjoyed our morning walks around the property exploring, the huge live oak trees or magnificent!
The property was peaceful and charming! If you love anything country, historical, vintage - you will LOVE this place! Great place to get away from the grind and decompress. And Charlotte was a personable and considerate host. Would definitely recommend!
Property was just as shown on Vrbo. Beautiful place with a quiet setting. Thoroughly enjoyed just being able to relax. Will gladly be staying there again in the future.
Our one week family experience at this beautiful property was a movie-like "step-back-in-time" experience with all the modern comforts and conveniences (minus a Wifi/internet connection). Charlotte was so gracious to include some tasty offerings in the fridge and pantry as well. She is an absolute delight and we look forward to our return!
This place is awesome. If you like peace and quite the country life This is it. Sitting on the front porch watching the Cardinals and Doves doing there thing in the evening. We saw Cotton tail Rabbits in the back yard while drinking our coffee in the sun room in the back I the morning. House is full of history and antiques. Then the host Charlotte and Bill are the sweetest people. They came over and visited with us for a few minutes said if we needed anything just call. So awesome. This is just the cutest place. Thank you.
The property is a 120 year old farmhouse. It has been beautifully maintained. the owner recommended several restaurants which had out door setting. We were pleased with them. To our knowledge there was no wifi and no dishwasher. Otherwise it was a charming place to stay. We definitely felt like we had stepped back into the past. The owner had also thoughtfully provided items for breakfast, popcorn and not chocolate for the evening. We enjoyed our stay. thank you to our hostess.
Our family wanted to ride the beautiful hills in Washington County and this house was the perfect starting point. Lots of shady, rolling hills and beautiful views. The house is so cozy and relaxing, with so many historical details to discover. The hosts are excellent! We will definitely be back.
