Near the Chateau de Blois (Loir et Cher), in the heart of the city center, rent an apartment on the 3rd floor without elevator. Great location for a weekend in Blois

This apartment was the perfect location for exploring beautiful Blois and bike riding on the Loire. Although it was a climb to the 3rd floor, we enjoyed the peace and quiet, plus the great views. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. A great experience!

Great stay in great location.

We had a lovely week in Blois. The apartment is right in the heart of the old town of Blois. Very well equipped too. Very reasonably priced too. Gloria was prompt to respond to my queries which was great. She had a powerful fan which helped with the hot days we had.

Fantastic place to stay

Stayed at this home with my wife and two older teenage kids. The house is in a great location and a short walk to lots of restaurants and 15 min walk to the Blois Gare. Right next to beautiful historic Saint Louis Cathedral and close to the great Denis Papin staircase.The N1/N2 bus (free bus) was close by and really helped to get around. The house was awesome and comfortable. Its is a walk up though (if you have trouble with stairs). The house was stocked with everything - plates, pots etc and everything needed to cook and have dinner there. We went to the amazing farmers market on Saturday and stocked up on vegetables and pasta and cooked there most nights. But excellent restaurants are very close by. The owner Gloria was quick to respond with questions and anything we needed. We had such a great time and would love to stay there again if possible. We were there researching the area because my wife’s mom grew up in Blois during WW2 and live a 20 min a walk away. We still want to explore the area, so we will be back again. Thanks for everything!

Excellent emplacement

Nous avons passé un trÚs beau séjour chez M. et Mme Lépine. Ils ont été trÚs chaleureux avec nous dÚs notre arrivée. De plus, la propriété se situe tout prÚs du centre-ville, ce qui a agrémenté notre séjour. Finalement, Blois est une destination de choix pour explorer les chùteaux de la Loire, tous a une distance raisonnable de la ville en voiture!

Déjà,une propriétaire d'une grande gentillesse,avec des petits présents pour les enfants,en plus elle nous a offert un ticket pour pouvoir sortir des parkings payants de Chambord Le logement est trÚs propre et confortable.Tout est a disposition,c'est à dire tout ce que l'on peut trouver chez soi,il y a tout pour les bébés..C'est trÚs calme,sauf un peu le matin avec les livraisons des restaurants.Sinon,tout est à proximité (restaurants, lieux à visiter cathédrale, chùteau,centre ville...). Pour stationner,il y a un grand parking payant de 9 h à 18h,et un petit gratuit le long de la Loire.Chambord est à 15 kms,le zoo de Beauval est a moins de 50kms, Cheverny est trÚs trÚsproche,sans compter les autres chùteaux..Je conseille vivement cet appartement.Je remercie encore cette dame pour sa disponibilité et gentillesse. Je tiens Ă  remercier la propriĂ©taire pour son accueil chaleureux et surtout pour les petites attentions qu'elle a eu pour mes enfants. Un sĂ©jour trĂšs agrĂ©able et surtout confortable. Le duplex trĂšs sympa qui ne manque pas de charme avec ses poutres apparentes, parfaitement amĂ©nagĂ© et on manque de rien ! L'emplacement idĂ©al en plein centre historique chargĂ© d'histoire. Le chĂąteau Ă  ne pas manquer juste 👌👌👌. Un Large choix de restaurants en cas de flemme de cuisiner..... etc et pleins de belles chose a dicouvrir.

Un appartement idĂ©al pour notre court sĂ©jour Ă  5. Fonctionnel, agrĂ©able, fidĂšle Ă  l'annonce. Bien situĂ© pour visiter la ville ( 10 minutes du chĂąteau et encore moins des premiers restaurants) et les chĂąteaux environnants. C'est au 3Ăšme Ă©tage mais ce n'est pas un problĂšme pour quelques jours. Peut-ĂȘtre pas pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants Ă  cause de l'escalier raide pour monter Ă  la mezzanine mais bien Ă©quipĂ© pour les bĂ©bĂ©s. Bon accueil de notre hĂŽte. Bref, une adresse Ă  retenir.

Séjour pour faire découvrir des chùteaux de la Loire autour de Blois à nos 2 petits-enfants de Nice

Le logement Ă©tĂ© trĂšs correct mais il aurait Ă©tĂ© honnĂȘte de prĂ©ciser qu'il se situe au 3e Ă©tage sans ascenseur (important pour des personnes Ă  mobilitĂ© restreinte ce qui heureusement n'Ă©tait pas notre cas) et qu'en fait il n'y a pas une 2e chambre mais une mezzanine avec 2 lits (important selon la composition des rĂ©sidents). Dommage car l'appartement est idĂ©alement situĂ©, trĂšs propre avec bon nombre de commoditĂ© de sĂ©jour. Un accueil un peu dĂ©calĂ© de la propriĂ©taire qui visiblement Ă©tait peu disponible Ă  notre arrivĂ©e et trĂšs inquiĂšte qu'on touche Ă  ses radiateurs. Mais les choses se sont arrangĂ©es et les relations ont Ă©tĂ© finalement trĂšs cordiales. Tant mieux car l'appartement correspondait parfaitement Ă  l'objectif que nous nous, Ă©tions fixĂ©s et notre sĂ©jour s'est trĂšs bien passĂ© et Ă  Ă©tĂ© trĂšs enrichissant.

A Great Place to Stay to Visit the Chateaux

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is exactly as it is described. The loft bedroom is a fun arrangement for the second bedroom. We stayed in Blois during a relatively hot spell There was great flow though of air, so the temperature inside stayed very comfortable. The Host, Gloria, was so helpful. She put in extra effort to make sure we had a great stay.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr unkompliziert, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist zwar nicht besonders groß, aber fĂŒr zwei Erwachsene und zwei Teenager völlig ausreichend. Wir waren eine Woche dort. Die Lage ist super, da es nur wenige Meter zur Loire und in die Altstadt sind. Das Schloss und das Haus von Houdini und andere SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten sind ebenfalls gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Die weiteren Schlösser sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Ein Teil des großen Parkplatz an der Loire ist kostenfrei. Alles in allem können wir diese Reise sehr empfehlen.
