Located in Murphy NC, just 10 minutes from Downtown Murphy in a peaceful and tranquil setting, this beautiful real log cabin has a hot tub, internet, air Hockey, BBQ grill, huge covered deck area, spacious loft area, fully equipped kitchen with all the necessities to prepare all the daily meals, private bathroom for the master bedroom, beautiful real wood floors and cathedral ceilings, paved roads and easy access, fireplace, excellent setting in the NC mountains. Cabin is tastefully decorated with a huge loft area with an Amish made bunk bed and a sofa bed. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom has a queen sized bed. Comes with satellite TV with HBO included, boardgames, linens and towels are provided. Come enjoy this peaceful mountain area and yet still have the luxury of a modern home. Hot spa and pool table are new. The cabin sleeps 8, but it is perfect for 3 couples traveling together or for an extra spacious romantic get-away. We accept Visa & MC


Location: Murphy is a small mountain town snuggled into the rugged Nantahala National Forest in the southwest corner of North Carolina, and is the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and neighboring Pisgah National Forest. Murphy's spectacular, age-old, Appalachian setting provides gift shopping and an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day life.
The cabin is located in the beautiful and romantic Arrowhead mountain, just 7 miles west of Downtown Murphy. The roads leading to the cabin are paved and well maintained. Easy access to the main highway. The parking is safe. The setting is peaceful and relaxing. you will enjoy the hot tub in a large deck surrounded by gorgeous woods and a great view. WiFi Inernet, Pool table available for late night entertainment along with board games and a BBQ grill. You will enjoy a peaceful setting with no neighbors and a hot tub that is operational 365 days a year.

Spacious living quarters: One of the things you will enjoy about this cabin is the spacious living areas. This 1500 sq feet cabin has an enormous loft area, all wood, with windows to the outside to enjoy the view. the loft area has an Amish made bunk-bed and a sofa bed to accommodate extra guests. The covered deck area has a hot tub to relax and enjoy nature at its finest. There is a gas BBQ. The rooms are comfortable with all the furniture needed for an extended stay. The beds are new and are super comfortable. Everything in the house is new.

Activities: The Smoky Mountains offers a wide range of activities. Whitewater rafting in the Ocoee (site of 1996 Olympics), just a short 15 minute drive, and enjoy the excitement of rafting class 3 and 4 rapids. The Nantahala river offers class 2 and 3 rapids. Ducktown canoeing is also a short 15 to 20 minute drive. The Smoky Mountain railroad offers great views of the Smokies. Rent a pontoon boat or Jet Skis in one of Western Carolina's beautiful lakes. Hike or mountain bike one of our many trails and enjoy nature. See the waterfalls of the Western Carolina. Enjoy a first class casino. Visit Chattanooga, TN, a short and lovely 85 minute drive. Golf the challenging and beautiful gold club in Murphy, a short 15 minute drive. The visitors center in Murphy offers many brochures in order to plan your stay more effectively.

Nice getaway

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was beautiful. Loved our stay here! The cabin had everything a family needed to rest and relax and not even have to leave. The board games, pool table and ping pong table was a lot of fun for a family with two young adult children, The entire family had an amazing trip and stay! This canon was very clean and made us feel at home.

Great stay

The cabin was lovely and both Mind the owner and property managers were so easy to work with. We had an issue with the air conditioner and they responded extremely promptly. Don’t worry it has been replaced so there will be no issues in the future. The hot tub was exceptionally clean And was enjoyed very much. Plenty of spare bedding and towels. We will definitely stay when we make our annual trip to Murphy next year.

The cabin was clean and as advertised. The spa was amazing and the location was beautiful. Only downside is the air conditioning went out our second night and the cabin was 81 all night.

Great Stay With Amenities

This was a great place for our family of four with a 15 and 8 year old. The ping pong and pool table were a big hit and we loved there was still a Christmas tree lit up. The hot tub was awesome and the provided linens was a plus. If you want a good escape away, this is the place. We enjoyed hanging out in the cabin due to the rainy weather.

Murphy NC Cabin

Cabin very comfortable. Nice hot tub and lovely covered porch. Kitchen well equipped. It is not centrally located. Everything is within an hour to an hour and a half, except for the town of Murphy which is very nice with some good restaurants. Overall, it was very nice.

Property was as advertised with amenities. Quite and Cozy. Bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. Gas fire place keep us nice and warm with the temperatures down in the twenties at night. Enjoyed the hot tub every evening. We were very satisfied with our stay and will be going back to this rental again.

Beautiful

This property is amazing! The hot tub was divine. Everything we needed was provided. Love all the selections of games available as well. The only thing that I would change is the checkout process. It is lengthy. I also believe that removing the trash bags ourselves to a collection facility miles away is a little excessive. Especially on a Sunday. Other than that, the location is perfect.

Fall Vacation 2023

Let me start by saying the cabin was beautiful. A few small issues that I feel should be corrected. The BBQ grill needs to be replaced, it was falling apart. The closet in the spare bedroom was locked so guest had no place for their clothes. The toaster did not work. The fire pit was not prepared for us, if we had used it we would have burned the cabin down. 12 miles to closet town.

The location and the cabin is self is beautiful. It did need some light bulbs replaced there was quite a bit of them burned out. It needs better light in the kitchen. There was bugs I did see quite a bit of roaches. Including German roaches needs to be professionally sprayed once a month. Hot tub was really nice but it actually needs the proper type of cover over it had to keep adding water to it every day. There's plenty of pots and pans and dishes and utensils that was really nice. The pool table was a bonus. Plenty of board games

Cute cabin

The cabin is cute. Not large, but nice for the family. Positive note: The owner of the cabin is very easy going and was extremely helpful. He went the extra mile to make sure when one of us got ill and couldn't travel on the scheduled date, he let us go on a different date, with no questions asked and no additional fees. But, they do have issues with the cleanliness of the cabin. It isn't kept up the way it should be. The utensils in the kitchen are out of date and and in pretty bad shape. The jacuzzi doesn't have a decent cover so it takes forever for the water to heat up. It's not what you would expect because the cabin itself is cute.

It was ok but needs cleaning

Cons: 1. the hallway bathroom tub was not clean 2. food was in taps on the stove 3. killed a spider in the bedroom, killed a bug in bathroom, and killed a roach in the kitchen 4. all the jets in the hot tub do not work the same and the temperature seemed to be slow to warm 5. found long blonde hair on chairs and all of our hair is dark 6. dust and hair in and around dryer/washer area Pros: 1. area is quiet and easy to find. Great location 2. easy check in and out 3. family areas were great by the fireplace 4. beds were comfortable and sleeping quarters were roomy Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the cabin could really benefit from a good cleaning and the hot tub serviced.

THIS CABIN IS GORGEOUS, WELL DECORATED, IMPECABLE, PEACEFUL SURROUNDINGS. THE OWNER IS SUPER DETAILED, VERY NICE AS WELL, YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED...ELECTRONICS, BROCHURES, I MEAN 'EVERYTHING'. IF YOU JUST WANT TO GET AWAY AND ENJOY WHAT GOD GAVE US (NATURE), BE WITH YOUR FAMILY OR HAVE A COUPLES 'us' TIME, THIS IS IT. I WANTED TO SURPRISE MY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND WHO CAME TO VISIT FROM ANOTHER STATE, THE SURPRISE WAS ON ME, LOL, THAT MY HUSBAND AND I LOVED IT SO MUCH SPECIALLY D PEACEFUL STILL OF D NIGHT.(MY SISTER TOO).. Cozy cabin--needs a few fixes

There was no view of the mountains, as there is in the picture. Bathroom off hallway tub temperature knob doesn't work--just needs someone to fix it with screwdriver. When we arrived, we got the numbers lined up on the lockbox, but it wouldn't open--had to call the caretaker, who was very nice and came immediately to help. Hot tub wouldn't heat up for first 4 days of trip; again, we called the caretaker, who sent someone out to look at it, but we were only there for a week, so only got to use the hot tub twice. Bunk bed mattresses were way too hard. However, the pool table was great, and everything else was satisfactory.
