The property was recently redone and was very nice. It was spacious and in a good location. The property manager was out of town and we struggled to reach her to get the check in information. We did finally speak to her and were able to get into the house. Once we were there, there was not the usual notebook of instructions for WiFi, thermostat, etc, so we had to make another phone call. There was trash under the beds and loose pills in the bathroom drawers. I think we were just the second renters for this property, so maybe they were getting details figured out. As I said, the house was really nice and would be great for a family or several couples. I enjoyed the hot tub. Hopefully the property manager is more organized and the housekeepers more careful.
The home is very spacious and comfortable for large families. High end appliances and the bathroom in the master bedroom upstairs was beautiful. The teenage boys fished off the back dock and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Ron at Apex delivered a double kayak for our use. Since there is no ladder on the dock he was extremely helpful and set up an aluminum ladder that we used to get in and out of the kayak. My only suggestions would be to have one umbrella out for guests to enjoy shade while on the deck. The kitchen could also use a cookware set with a stock pot and some sleeping pillows are needed. Restaurants and marina within walking distance. Would definitely return.
Great for lg family stays. Grandson fished from dock when not in boat
Great would recommended it to any one

Fishing trip with the family
We had a wonderful time at this location. We had two small families staying in the home, one on the upper floor and one on the lower floor. This home is well laid out for a one or two families vacation. As well as it has two operational boat lifts. The owners are very nice and able to work with any requests that you have. The goal for our vacation was a family vacation with fishing in mind. We caught jewfish, tarpon, snook, red fish, snapper, spanish mackerel, and a bunch of other random species. We saw manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, and even a bald eagle that hangs around the house early in the morning’s. This house is directly across the street from the marina with gas, bait, and ice. St. James city is a wonderful place to visit. This is our second time visiting, first time at this house and we will definitely be back...

Very comfortable!
What a great place for a family vacation. We came down with our large family which included grandchildren and had a wonderful time. Everyone had their own space, the open concept allowed us all to be together during meal times and chill time at night. The zero entry pool with deep end was the highlight of the week! We rented a boat from across the street and kept it right in our backyard canal which had easy access to the big water. The value of this place is great!
