An exceptional location a few steps from the Sqala and the ramparts. Tourist heart of Essaouira, The best restaurants and shops at the foot of the riad, 10 minutes from the sandy beach and the port.
Large volumes and authentic architecture, careful decoration with traditional Moroccan furniture but also works of art by artists from Essaouira.
An interior organization very pleasant to live in (not many floors to climb to access the terrace as often in the Medina).
A large glass roof covering the patio and rare in the medina, windows with double glazing in all the rooms bringing air and light.

First floor
You will be seduced by the family home spirit of our riad, you will be at home away from home.
The bedrooms and lounges are equipped with comfortable feather bedding with oriental decoration.

On the second floor, easy access to the main terrace and its suite with a very nice view of the sea and the door of the Sqala des cannons.

Najia will be there to welcome you on your arrival, she will ensure the smooth running of your stay.
Our riad has a very nice traditional cuisine in Zellige, you can prepare your meals or if you prefer Najia can take care of your breakfasts and meals. we will communicate you its prices if you wish

The Consulate is one of the rare properties in the medina equipped with central heating, possibility of using it in the evening, participation may be requested.

We will be happy to help you organize your taxi transport from Marrakech or Essaouira.
For peace of mind a surveillance camera inside facing the front door only possible access to the riad.

Wunderschönes Riad, besondere Einrichtung, TOP!

Wir durften für drei Nächte Gast in diesem wunderschönen Riad sein. Das Haus ist super gelegen, mitten in der Medina. Insbesondere die traditionelle Einrichtung hat uns beeindruckt, hier findet man in jedem Eck besondere Schmuckstücke. Die Zimmer sind hell und gut geschnitten. Alles ist sauber, im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Hausdame ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation war reibungslos, wir haben uns stehts wohlgefühlt. Sehr gerne kommen wir in dieses besondere Haus zurück! Vielen Dank Dominique!

Formidable séjour entre amies

Nous avons passé 4 jours fantastiques dans ce magnifique riad . Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le confort du riad ainsi que la décoration et surtout surtout les sourires et les superbes tajines de Najia qui s'est très bien occupé de nous pendant les 4 jours . La situation du riad dans la médina est vraiment impeccable car proche des commerces , du port et la place principale . Tout était très bien organisé avant notre arrivée et notamment le transfert à l'arrivée à l'aeroport et au Riad . Nous espérons revenir au plus vite pour un séjour un peu plus long ...

Magnifique riad, idéalement situé dans le médina

Riad spacieux, lumineux, décoré avec une élégance sobre. Superbe terrasse sur les toits pour des petits déjeuners de rêve. Emplacement idéal dans la médina, tout en étant très calme. Et un service impeccable et souriant de Najia. Difficile de partir !

Oasis of calm in the medina

We had a lovely stay in the Riad le Consulat. Najia was an unobtrusive but very friendly and helpful presence throughout our stay - she booked us taxis for various trips, gave us lots of advice and cooked us a few FABULOUS meals. The riad had everything we needed, including (most important!) comfortable beds. There is lots of space to relax and thoughtful small touches like a chest of childrens’ toys and books for holiday reading. The location is great - a few minutes walk to the ramparts and to lots of good restaurants, and an easy walk to the souk to buy food. We found the Essaouira medina very approachable - much more laid back than Marrakech and almost impossible to get lost. The beaches are also amazing, as are the hammams. We will be back!

Séjour très agréable et chaleureux

Nous avons passé 2 jours au riad où Nadja nous a accueilli avec son sourire, sa gentillesse et sa délicieuse cuisine. Le riad est très bien situé, très beau et très propre, nous nous y sommes sentis chez nous, les enfants aussi. La terrasse vue sur mer est parfaite. La propriétaire a été attentive à nos besoins jusqu'à notre départ. De nombreux restaurants vous attendent, la ville est belle. Si nous en avons l'occasion, nous reviendrons y passer plus de temps.

Super sejour groupe d amis autrichien

Un très beau Riad , correspond à la description , bien entretenu, extrêmement bien placé dans la Medina, vous pouvez avoir un très bon dîner et petit déjeuner aussi excellent. Super accueil de Najia sur le parking pour nous emmener au Riad.
