This spacious and comfortable lakefront home affords you the best location and amenities. Sited on the north side of the lake means total sun exposure throughout the day instead of shadows on the other side, private beachfront, dock with water toys and full service 2,100sf home w/ all amenities. Vaulted ceilings framed in rustic log cabin knotty pine décor complement an otherwise modern home. Features include outdoor fire pit, seasonal creek on property, private lake front grounds with professionally landscaped property, outdoor seating, high speed Starlink Wi-Fi and smart TVs with extensive 115+ DVD movie collection.

Three private bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with king or queen beds with high-end memory foam mattresses. A loft area with 2 pull out beds and tons of space. Main living room with open concept kitchen with island, breakfast nook, wood stove and a lake-side sun porch set up as the formal dining room overlooking the lake and Olympic National Park beyond. Every inch of the home intricately designed to make you feel in vacation mode.

We are located at the doorstep of the Olympic National Park. A plethora of hiking trails, hot springs, mountain bike trails, fishing, beaches, waterfalls and rain forest adventures are all a stone's throw away. Hurricane Ridge and Sol Duc Hot Springs are only a short drive away. Located 15 minutes from Port Angeles and the Victoria BC ferry, there is easy access to this gated community yet a world away from life's stresses - yet less than 2 hours from the Edmonds/Kingston (90 minutes) and Seattle/Bainbridge (1 hr, 50 minutes) ferries.

We use our home as well, so you'll find it fully stocked with pretty much everything you'll need. The cozy cabin atmosphere spares no comfort in this 2000 built home. High quality beds, plenty of extra blankets and pillows, tons of space to roam, play and rest.

The lake is home to cutthroat & rainbow trout along with Kokanee fish. A private community boat launch and dock are available for your use as well as a community swimming area with slide (into the water). We stock life jackets (XL to infant), 5 kayaks, a 9' row boat, 2 stand up paddle boards and some noodles. Bring a boat or jet skis. Inner-tubing, kayaking, fishing and swimming are commonplace at Lake Sutherland.

Please also note: we discourage folks who are active smokers from booking/staying. We find that even residual smoke can seep into the home. We've had guests who say they smoke away from the house but that doesn't sufficiently prevent smoke from entering our home. For that reason, if you are a smoker, this may not be the best place for you and we ask that you kindly consider other options. We also have a strict no-pet policy.
