We enjoyed our stay. It was a great home base for activities in Brunswick and close to the barrier islands. We will come back whenever we need to stay in Brunswick again!

Porch & Location are LEGIT!!!
It actually pains me to leave this review. The porch and the location alone were amazing. But there were subtle problems throughout the otherwise, cute location. The place needs a Property Manager. The cabinet under the kitchen sink was scary and numerous lights/ceiling fans were in various states of disrepair. Master bath shower is very large but the floor is exceeding slippery due to the use of builder grade tile. And the drain cover is not secured! There are only 3 total interior doors and only one works properly. No doors or divider on the alleged 2nd bedroom. If you're looking for a place for a single family or some grown ups this place will be ideal. This venue could easily be a 5-star with a little more care and maintenance.
Communications & ease of check in was top notch. Location was an easy dive or 18 min walk to downtown & marina. Great strolling / jogging among magnificent older homes nearby. It is a reasonable value given the low rental rates. I gave it a 4-star because the house is getting long in the tooth. Looks like a cheap renovation many years ago and everything from the furniture to coffee maker need updates (especially the coffee maker!). The interior was reasonably clean, but the yard & porches need a lot of attention. Don't hesitate to book because choices are few in the area...just moderate your expectation on arrival. I would have gladly paid more per night for a higher level of attention to details.
This really is a gem. My son and I needed a quick rental for planned excursions at the Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island. We were close enough to enjoy the beaches during the day and be able to come home to the most charming, relaxing cottage in a neighborhood surrounded by wise old oak trees with draping Spanish moss.
The house stayed cool despite the oppressive heat outside. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was well equipped. The decor was tastefully eclectic. We really appreciated the obvious care put into blending contemporary with traditional. Well done.
The Yellow Deli directly across the street was so convenient and super delicious and the twinkling lights from their outdoor dining patio added to fairy tale aesthetic. All the southern gothic vibes. We’d love to visit again.♥️
The stay here was good. Only real problem we had was the wrong code for the door to check in but called Cyndi and she immediately helped me. Loved the house. Only recommendations I have would be the doors to bedroom and hall bath have the ability to lock. With a teenager it was an issue. The neighborhood could be better but I feel people are trying to clean the area up and fix it up. So that will make a huge difference. I would stay again!!
House was charming, we did have some bugs inside especially the kitchen. There was a foul smell if sitting on screen porch, septic? The location was convenient
The property was super cute and quaint. It was perfect for our family. The boys loved the lil loft/daybed so much they were arguing over who would sleep in it each night. The accommodations were great. We also enjoyed the deli across the street. We would definitely stay again. Thank you 😊
Myself and my 2 niece's came down for a quick mini vacay. We love SSI and Jekyll Island has to offer. This house was perfect for a birthday chill wknd. We were located in a very neutral area, close to both Jekyll Island and SSI. We all had a wonderful amount of space within the house. I watched movies in the living room, my niece sat out on the lovely screened in porch and my other niece enjoyed her own room and privacy. Our biggest enjoyment was the 'Yellow Deli'! It was extremely hot on our last day so we didn't want to get out in that heat. We went right out the front door across the street and had delicious cold cut sandwiches and sampled teas and we were assisted very graciously from 'Campbell'. How convenient for us. My bed slept very comfortably and my niece claimed the high bed in the living room. We can't wait to come back.
Our stay was wonderful! We liked the two porches and comfy seating of interior spaces. Brunswick is a great central location For exploring the Golden Isles and this home is in a beautiful and walkable historic district. The house is ideal for 1-4 people. Lighting is a bit wonky, with switches that don’t work and bulbs burnt out. Closet space in the main bedroom was very limited, too. Aside from these, our stay was very enjoyable and we had everything we needed.
The house was just as described cute and cozy. It was in great proximity of places we visited. The only problem was for staying 10 days was the limited amount of necessities. Being a family we can’t always eat out so we cooked a lot and did not certain things were limited.
Check in was super easy. The house was better than expected and the screened in patio area is amazing at night. Everything was super clean and we had everything we needed. We had two kids with us and they loved it. The location is great, it's super close jekyll island and tons to eat in the downtown area
I did not stay at this property. There was mold on the furniture which made it impossible and a health hazard to stay. The house smelled. I had to book a room at a hotel. The owners minimized the situation and refused to refund me. I have pics of the green mold. Read the reviews and don't stay at this property
Excellent hours and nice location. Loved the screened in porch.
