Everything was outstanding! Perfect for our short relaxing vacation, we even got some snow what made the views even more beautiful. The house was amazing and super comfortable. We will definitely be back.
My husband and I enjoyed our quiet stay with awesome long range mountain view. The drive up did take at least 15 min but was paved and easy to access. We did not use the lower level but would be awesome if you had a large family or sharing with another couple. The pictures are accurate except that they are older which can be seen in that the view has grown up some as well as some outside decking aging from sun. If you enjoy quiet and beauty of the mountains it is truely a wonderful place to stay
.
We really enjoyed our stay. I loved sitting on the balcony with the gorgeous mountain views, the fire pit lit reading my book. I could of stayed there the whole trip. The drive up the mountain is not for the faint of heart, but not any worse then the other locations we've stayed. Worth it for the view. My daughter loved the pool table, but if you're serious about your pool game the room isn't quite big enough and makes it tricky to play properly. Your pool sticks hit the walls. My dad and son gave up after one game. Overall we really enjoyed it.
The house is beautiful and has plenty of room for everyone. The pool table was a huge hit, played lots of games. We came for the truck meet in Maggie Valley, the house was only 20 minutes away, and that is only because we had to go down the mountain to get downtown, but it was worth it for the incredible views. Had a great stay and would recommend this place to anyone.
This is a great property to stay with a great view. We loved all provided entertainment (games, pool table and more) for the kids. The firewood was great because it did get chilly and added to our relaxing. Beds were comfortable and had a lot of basics to go with cooking which was nice.
We didn't like that that we were expected ti take all linings downstairs and start laundry as wel left. For the high cleaning fee, tthat was a bit much. We always strip the beds where ever we stay but being expexted to do laundry (towels or throws) completly including folding and putting away was a little bit much. Also note that there is recyling at the community trash locations. If we had known this was available we would have 100% recyled what we could.
We cannot wait to go back for another stay. The area ia so lovely. The people are super friendly and the crowds are minimal.
This cabin is the perfect location if you want the best Mountain View’s while feeling like you have the mountain to yourself. The home’s location is up a long windy drive but most of the road is double laned and paved so it was an easy trek in my front wheel drive SUV. The home was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with soaps, linens, blankets and extra pillows. The master bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table (and the panoramic backdrop) especially on the day it rained. The wind rustles through the trees when you are outside on the wrap around deck enjoying the long range views. We passed a deer daily enjoying the apples right before our driveway. The shower in the master bedroom had multiple shower heads which was great since I usually prefer a tub. We were so comfortable in the home that we were not ready to leave. I highly recommend this home and location. It’s worth the drive up and down to enjoy all this lovely home has to offer.
My family of 8 stayed at this beautiful cabin for a week. It is located at the very top of the mountain which is what we wanted. It was a 15 minute drive from the base to the top. The cabin has a gorgeous view. There was plenty of space and woods for my kids to play and explore. There was snow and ice on the road which was a little scary going up in our van. If you go in the winter, I would recommend a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle. We stayed in the cabin the first 2 days until the ice melted and we could make it safely back down the mountain.
The cabin had everything we needed. It has plenty of extra linens, pillows, and blankets. The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked many meals during our stay. There are games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained as well as two smart tvs. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. We found out as we were leaving, it's a sleep number bed. The bathrooms have heated floors which were a treat in the middle of the night! The managers were very responsive and easy to get in touch with.
Most everything was nice, but the viewing windows/doors on both levels were dirty, spills and handprints on all. In addition, the house needed some TLC as there were cobwebs present through the unit.
We had an amazing time in Maggie Valley staying at this beautiful property. It was very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Maggie Valley and Waynesville.
The cabin was beautiful as pictured, although it was smaller than the pictures made it seem. The views should have been spectacular except it rained and was cloudy the whole time we were there. We made do with lots of football games to watch, playing pool, and reading curled up on the deck. The only down side was the beds were a little uncomfortable. I think new mattresses are needed. We would definitely stay again.
Me, my wife and two kids stayed here for 3 nights to get away. The views from the deck were incredible. The kids loved the downstairs with the bunk beds and the pool table. The house was very clean and well taken care and the host was quick to respond and helpful. Only negative is the drive up the mountain off the main road takes a while. So going in and out a lot is now ideal. This is fine for us because we like to cook ourselves and wanted to just spend time at the house. The property is very secluded, so if you want to get away and want peace and quiet, this is definitely the cabin for you.
We fell in love with this house as soon as we walked in. The house is very updated and well built. It was very clean and the views were spectacular. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. We had some circumstances come up and the host was very kind and worked with us. It’s quite a steep drive up the mountains but the views are worth it. We had a great time and would love to come back soon!

Beautiful views from this property off the back deck! Was a lovely cabin and we had a great time over Christmas. The heated floors in the bathroom were amazing.
We stayed in mid December and absolutely loved it! There is a drive up the mountain to the home but you can’t beat the Mountain View from the house, it’s beautiful. The inside of the home was very clean and very spacious for our family of 7. We can’t wait to book our next stay!
