Newly REFINISHED Aspen House in cozy neighborhood of Orem, Utah

Whether you're looking for activities at BYU, UVU, Sundance this location is your spot. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Orem yet quickly accessible to so many locations, you'll love staying here.

Our vacation rental offers 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, huge backyard, full kitchen and lots of gathering space. You'll love staying here. Perfect home for visiting family in the area, coming for a wedding, dropping off your children for school or the MTC, coming to ski at Sundance Resort, coming for a BYU or UVU game, coming for fly fishing the Provo River or hiking/biking the Provo Canyon trails.

Very clean, newly refurbished, new paint, new carpet, new furniture--this place is in excellent condition. You will enjoy your vacation in this lovely home in a quiet neighborhood right in the heart of Orem. It will sleep 12 people in 4 bedrooms. It has 2 living spaces, nice kitchen table that seats 8, bar for serving buffets or for serving breakfast or lunch and 3 full bathrooms. Master suite has a separate tub, shower, walk-in closet, big windows with lots of light.

The Aspen house is equipped with Home Automation from Control4 (premier home automation company based in Utah!) Guests are given a unique code to the smart lock during their stay making access to the house simple and easy! If you are arriving late, the front porch light is conveniently automated to turn on at nights! The thermostat is also Control4 enabled so the home is comfortable and cozy before your arrival!

Great location

Great location. 5-10 min to UVU, BYU, University Mall, grocery store, restaurants. 20 min to Sundance. Lots of beds, plenty of room. Kitchen isn’t well stocked — tiny bowls, worn out pans, limited flatware. Smelled strongly of cleaning agents for a day after check in. Clothes dryer is very loud. Some of the 2-bulb ceiling lights have one bulb out. There is a yard and grill, but no seating. The garage is small and wouldn’t fit our huge SUV, but should fit a standard SUV or minivan.

Perfect Bridal Party Retreat

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Aspen House. My daughter was getting married in Utah and we even though we have family and friends that would have hosted us during her wedding week, we decided to get our own "house" just for the Ladies of the Bridal party so that we could spread out, be all together, and not stress about putting anyone out. It was the best decision we made and the Aspen House accommodated us all perfectly!! It was roomy, clean, very comfortable, and conveniently located as well! The communication with the owner was awesome and they were always so gracious. The only issue we ran into was a lack of mirrors. Being that all of us staying at the house were females and needing/wanting to be "photo ready" on the big day, made the need for more mirrors a little more important. Otherwise the mirror situation would be completely adequate for the average Aspen House VRBO guests. I would absolutely recommend this Home to anyone who needed a home away from home and I would stay there again without hesitation.

Great Family Home

Super clean and comfortable home! Kids loved the big backyard, basketball hoop and games. Layout is a bit different and there are quite a few stairs between all levels of the home - so keep that in mind if that will be an issue for anyone traveling with you. Location was perfect and neighborhood was quiet. Communication was easy & we were able to extend our stay with ease. We would definitely stay again next trip!

It was so nice to unload a van full of people and stuff into this spacious home. The lights were on, the heat was on, the rooms were clean and ready for us to hit the hay after a super long day on the road. Nicely decorated, plenty of bathrooms for a large group, beds were comfy too! Convenient location in town!

Great Location Nice Home

We often visit family in Orem and this is the first time we have opted for the VRBO rather than a hotel. We will never go back to hotels. The home was very clean and comfortable with ample space. Check in and check out were both a breeze. We will definitely stay here again. Five stars.

Great for families

We loved staying here. We had 2 huge family events that week and we wanted all our children and grandchildren to be able to stay together. It worked out great! The house was clean, everyone had enough room, the backyard was big and we enjoyed being out there as a family playing games. The house was close to BYU and the other places like Costco and Smith's we needed to go! It was great that a washer and dryer were available to use. The directions given to us for the address, the entry codes, etc were precise and we really enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely stay there the next time we needed a place that big! We loved staying here!

Our family (two sisters and one brother and spouses) reserved this property for a family reunion. Our brother and his wife were unable to attend at the last minute, so there were only four of us staying here. I guess one of the best features of this listing is the owners of the property. Megan was very responsive to all of our inquiries and was extremely easy to deal with. She made the rental process quite easy. We also thought the price was very reasonable. This property is centrally located. We found it to be very comfortable and thoughtfully and carefully furnished and equipped. There are two bedrooms on the top floor: the master (king bed) with walk-in closet and large bathroom with tub and shower; and a smaller bedroom (queen bed) with a nice-sized bathroom across the hall. On the second (entry) level are the first living area to which the front door opens and a bedroom with two nice-sized bunk beds - good for kids of any age or adults even. No bathroom attached. On the third level from the top is the open kitchen, dining area and larger living room. The kitchen is well-equipped. The living room has a TV with Apple TV attached. There is no cable or antenna, but you can access your Hulu, Netflix or other accounts via the Apple TV. There is a small bathroom off the living area with shower and small sink. On the fourth and lowest level is the utility room with washer and dryer. My sister used it and said there were washing pods and dryer sheets provided. The last bedroom is on this basement level and has a queen bed and twin. The closest bathroom is the one on the kitchen level. This bedroom is the coolest bedroom in summer. The air conditioning was fully functioning and kept us most comfortable. The beds that we slept on were comfortable. There were plenty of electrical outlets. Sign-in and entry were seamless. We highly recommend this property. It's an excellent choice for couples or families.

Perfect family home

This home was perfect for our large family, it offered plenty of space and room to sit and visit. We drove from Arizona for my son’s wedding and stayed in the house for 5 nights. On the first night we arrived we were greeted with delicious home baked chocolate chip cookies made by Megan’s son. We enjoyed every bite! The beds were very comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and fully stocked. I love the design of the house, there are 4 levels - basement which has a nice size bedroom with a queen size bed and a single bed, It also has a laundry room, 2nd level has a huge den with kitchen, 3rd level a nice living room plus the room with the bunk beds, 4th level at top has the master bedroom with another room that has a queen sized bed. Each level is separated by just a few steps so there’s not a lot of walking and it offers a lot of privacy and cuts down on the noise from adjoining rooms. Each room is spacious and inviting. I love the decor and everyone who saw it comment how nice it was. My husband said he really likes the place. I would definitely stay here again if we have another family event in Utah.

Owner was awesome. The directions were clear and complete. The house was clean. Owners even came to fix a broken handle at our request mid stay, within an hour. There was great communication which helped to reduce the stress. The house was exactly as they described and was very inviting. The property was close to many amenities and tourist type attractions which was fun for the kids. Overall we would stay there again in a heart beat

Felt Like Home

We stayed in Aspen House with our four young children for a week while our own home in a nearby town was under evacuation order due to a wildfire. It was a very stressful time for us, but the moment we walked into this house we felt comfortable and safe. The extra touches left by Megan and Spencer to welcome our family meant so much to us! The house is bright and welcoming and cozy, with brand new carpet and furnishings and it's clearly been updated very recently. It felt fresh and clean. We had plenty of space for the kids to play. The beds are super comfortable and we slept so well. We were able to cook meals, do homework, watch a movie, and play in the backyard (our 9 year old son LOVED the basketball and hoop in the driveway) and it all felt so normal and safe and happy. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet, yet super close to a large shopping area and many restaurants and amenities. We appreciated the stocked bathrooms, plentiful towels, and the stocked laundry room. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, and dishware we needed, and a large cupboard that was empty so we could store some of our own supplies while we were there. Megan and Spencer came to check on us our second night there, they were so kind and helpful and we cannot thank them enough! We were able to get back into our own home sooner than we expected, and I have to say I was a little sad to leave Aspen House! We had a lovely week there during a stressful time and we couldn't have asked for a better place to be!

We've lived in the area for the last 15 years. Before that we lived in Hawaii and St. George. Spencer was born and raised in Hawaii and Megan was born in Idaho and raised in Orem. We love travel and good food! We are excited to provide an amazing experience and accommodations to our guests. As part of our welcome to our guests we provide a plate of LARGE homemade chocolate chip cookies made by our 11 year son who is an inspiring baker.

What makes this property unique

We love this home because it is tucked away in a great neighborhood yet close to BYU, UVU, Provo Canyon and shopping. The spacious backyard has beautiful mountain views and is a favorite in the summer evenings when it is shaded. The new updates make the home comfortable and inviting.

We also love that the home is close to the Provo River (famous fly fishing spot) and is in walking distance to the beautiful Provo River Walking/Biking Trail.
