You'll find this garden-level condo at Waikoloa Colony Villas, a beautiful community that sits one mile inland from Anaehoʻomalu Beach. If golf is on the agenda, you'll be half a mile west of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, and one mile south of the Mauna Lani Golf Course and the Francis H. I'i Brown Golf Courses. Queens' MarketPlace and Kings' Shops are both just a quarter-mile away, and you can even swim with the dolphins at the Hilton Waikoloa one mile away.

THINGS TO KNOW
Irrigation work is underway and scheduled to complete by the end of April 2023. Buildings 12, 13, 14, 15, and 19 will be close to the construction. Expect associated noise and dust. Additional irrigation work will start in October or Nov of 2023, with no projected end date. Buildings 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, and 23 will be impacted.
The Makai pool will be closed for construction starting the second week of April 2023 and is expected to last until July.
This rental is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC.

We have stayed at multiple condos at this complex and enjoyed our stay. It is a great location. This particular property didn't offer beach gear like some others, but the managers were very communicative and accommodating.

Spacious and next to tennis courts and pool!

Love the room for our family of six. Maintenance responded quickly to a toilet that was constantly running. Perfect area to be for home base when exploring the island. Overall it felt clean, but there were some areas that could use some deep cleaning.

We really enjoyed our stay! I would not mind if you were to stay in touch occasionally for next year or the year after perhaps. All good. Mahalo, Tom And Karyn Wood We would stay here at WCVs again.

Great with the potential to be Amazing

As other reviewers have noted, the unit is a bit tired. We had a couple cleaning issues but the VRBO staff responded immediately and took care of us. For the price this is likely the best deal in Wiakaloa Village and the pool and pickleball courts are immediately adjacent the home.Parking for the second vehicle can be tricky in the evening hours, we always found parking but a couple nights we had a long walk. Which we enjoyed as the property is beautiful. The designated stall for the first car is close to the unit. We would stay here again, but we do believe this can be an amazing stay with a little upkeep and updating.

Breezy Condo lives up to its name

Good value for the money paid. Received what was expected with a few nice surprises such as the pool area and quitness. Beats combat tourism in dowtown Kona. Just a lttle too far from beach and stores if you are in a hurry or don't like the heat and wind.

This is a Vacasa managed property. It was ok on clean standard. Dusting need above frig and ceiling fans. Thermostat had a limiter set to 73 for AC. One bedroom is located above the garage on the unit and would be warm than the others. Beds good are. Things you need in the kitchen and for the beach are available. Short supply of cheap toilet paper. Everything mechanical operatored properly. Check-in information was not provided to until 23 hours prior and no map was provided so you had to search for the unit.

My family of 3 and my parents stayed at this property for our week vacation. We loved the location and the shops close by. Very walk friendly with paths everywhere. The pool is close to the property which my son appreciated. The location on the island is also great since you can get to a variety of beaches to snorkel in 10-20min. The property was big enough for all of us to be together or get space if we needed. The only very minor thing we noticed was the carpet on the stairs looking a little dirty. Great place to stay, wonderful condo complex and would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, but this unit is tired!

We have to say we appreciated the management’s responses to our concerns, they sent out a carpet cleaning company to have the carpets and furniture cleaned and the baseboards wiped down and the slider washed right away. This unit is tired and could use an update.

Family-friendly, spacious and thrifty HI housing

Our family of five enjoyed the spacious condo on our first trip to HI. We enjoyed having a kitchen to prepare meals (although very limited pantry staples), 2.5 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The hot tub and pool were right across the street and not busy when we visited. Quiet area and pretty close to many amenities, including beach five minutes by car. Carpet and baseboards could use an update but other than that it was great for our family. We appreciated the beach chairs, beach towels, boogie board and snorkel gear. We didn’t use tennis rackets. One recommendation would be to add a beach umbrella to the amenities. If we visit again, we’ll stay here.

Piece of Paradise

Amazing property (clean, secure, fully functional) in well maintained community. The property is good size for a family of 5. The townhouse is fully stocked with towels, blankets, tennis rackets, 3 surfboards, 2 scooters. There are plenty of dishes and utensils. The mattresses have the top quality. Jacuzzi, tennis court, gas BBQ, and pool in the gated community. 20 min walk to a wave protected beach. 15 min walk to a food store. 15 min walk to Hilton resort ($6 parking/per hour) to relax and swim with dolphins. High quality Internet access allows to work from the property. AC is fully functional.

Property was plenty big for the 4 of us. Kitchen well stocked with cooking tools, etc. Property proximity to community pool, tennis court, etc. is good. Property is not well cleaned. Rugs are not sized for the room and is a safety issue. Multiple members of my party tripped by the rug and hit leg on the bed frame (with bruised leg!). Patio furniture is dirty. Suggest changing outdoor furniture that can be cleaned.

Tired and overtly stained carpet was throughout the unit. Obvious mold/mildew in the primary shower was present as well. I was terrified to let our son crawl or older children walk barefoot on the floor. Sheets were visibly stained as well. The community is nice, but this unit needs several changes before it should be considered appropriate to host again.

Quiet and spacious condo!

Overall had a wonderful experience as plenty of space for two adults and two teens to spread out and relax. Well stocked kitchen overall (pans could be better and most had no lids) but was great to be able to cook some meals! Beds were very comfortable. The pool was also super close and convenient to come home to after long hot days exploring. The carpets going up the stairs and into the hallway desperately need to be cleaned or replaced but otherwise in good shape. Loved the location which was close to local beaches as well as the King’s and Queens shopping center for necessities and meals.

We’ve stayed at the Colony Villas many times and the area is fantastic. This particular unit wasn’t the cleanest we’ve stayed at. The carpets were quite filthy which we brought to the attention of the property manager so hopefully they will replace or get a thorough cleaning.

The perfect getaway

This was the perfect getaway for my family. There condo is very spacious with high ceilings, especially in the den. There was enough space for everyone to get their space when needed. A few things were included that made this place even better. The beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, beach umbrella, beach mat, and as previously mentioned in other reviews, a well stocked kitchen. The lanais were secluded and airy. The main bedroom was well accommodated. This condo was within walking distance to shopping & dining. The pool was much larger than appeared in the picture. The hot tub was as hot as I maintain in Washington State, and I appreciated that. It was quiet (except for my kid) 10/10. I highly recommend this rental. This is a this gem!!!

Awesome spot

This was an amazing family spot. It was really useful to have a full kitchen as well as laundry. The unit was very clean, as was the property as a whole. The only issue we had was finding a code to get through the front gate. We ended up having to ask other renters at the property what the code was. All in all, the trip was fantastic and we would love to come back soon!
