The house has a lot of potential, owners have started to remodel. The location is great for both hills but there were some issues that should be addressed before further renting. Kitchen is stocked however the Keurig looked moldy so we went back out to buy alternate coffee for the regular pot. Toaster oven didn’t toast after the first day. There were some water issues during our stay with water leaking from the base of a toilet as well as from the roof into a bathroom and evidence of other water leaking with spots on the ceiling in bedrooms and around the fireplace. Owners quickly responded but I worry for the Spring when all this snow thaws that there will be major water problems. Lastly, out of control of owner but the neighbours who likely also had renters were partying outside until 1am keeping our family up.
We had such a great time staying at this ski home! It was the perfect spot for our group of four families. The location was ideal—grocery stores, ski hills, and awesome restaurants were all super close, which made everything so much easier. We could quickly grab supplies or hit up a great spot for dinner after a long day on the slopes. The house itself was super spacious and had plenty of bedding and towels for everyone, which is always a big plus when you’re with a big group. There was so much room to spread out and relax, and the whole place just felt really cozy. What really stood out, though, was how accommodating the hosts were. We accidentally left something behind after checking out, and they were so helpful in finding it and sending it back to us internationally. That kind of attention to detail made the whole experience even better.Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our trip. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun, easy, and comfy place for a ski vacation with a group!
This property was perfect for a ski weekend with friends! The location was great, the home was clean, and very well suited for us. Would stay again in the future.
absolutely fabulous stay the facility was great beyond our expectations. The host was fabulous and helping us with our initial problems since I got the wrong address and the place was clean and wonderful place to stay. We hope to book it again next year.
Space and beds for many friends to comfortably celebrate the holiday. Walking distance from the village. Clean house, great amenities. Would stay again

Cheap but not a great experience.
The Good -
- Location is good but a bit of a walk to the ski hill for young kids or wearing your gear. We drove to the main Holimont Lodge to drop off ski gear.
- Lots of bedrooms and beds
- easy to unload and load
The Bad -
- tubes did not drain while showering
- Deck looks unsafe, untidy and did not inspire me to use BBQ
- If you have a fire you will be smoked out until you open the windows.
- Microwave is broken, needs replacement
- Very very very tired, needs a update or at least new carpets
- Bring a humidifier, Elec heat.
- Not safe for toddlers
My family had and absolutely amazing time here. It has a very unique setup could use some updates but it also gave a real cabin feel so I can't complain this experience made our Thanksgiving extraordinary... One unforgettable memory. And Christine was very responsive to any messages sent out.... A good pick
The unique house layout was great for our 6 kids. There is almost a "kids wing" for sleeping and there are two family rooms that are on different levels that provides privacy and space for all. two different dining tables provides for room to spread out and even serve different options in each area. Owners are super responsive and accommodating. House is close to Jefferson St. which allows you to be super close to Holimont Ski - yet not have to drive through "all of Holimont" to get into town or head to Holiday Valley. Very convenient location with ample parking.
Fun stay in a cozy lodge, close to town and slopes of Holimont. Loved the wood burning stove, lots of room to spread out, easy access to skiing! Our son loved the steam in the backyard and all the movies in the basement,
Christine was such a pleasant VRBO home manager, and very easy to communicate with about our stay.
The house is great for two families, especially with all the bunk rooms. The kids had a blast.
We would definitely rent again.
A group of 8 of us spent a weekend at this property. It's a bit of an odd layout with many levels and lots of stairs (wouldn't recommend for families with toddlers for this reason). Beds were comfortable and fireplace was cozy (it's a bonus that the owners provide firewood). Kitchen/dining area was on the small side for a group our size, but we made it work.
