Enjoy a panoramic view at all times, from the outside and inside of the house thanks to a large glazed space, a high terrace and a covered terrace, all overlooking Lake Epinay.
La Maison du Lac 2, located in the Normande tourist resort, near the Grand Casino and 1000 m from the town and its shops, is located in the middle of a 1400 m² garden facing south-west without vis-à-vis , in a natural and remarkable environment. It enjoys a superb view and direct access to Lake Epinay.
It is a pretty house of contemporary spirit very comfortable with neat decoration. The space and the light make it a place conducive to relaxation in any season: very spacious living room, bar, fitted and equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms with different atmospheres, bathroom with basin and bath, separate shower room. 'Italian, WC, wood stove.
1000 meters from the traditional Norman village, the house offers an idyllic and relaxing setting, giving the opportunity for multiple walks between lake and forest, barbecue, fishing trips at the end of the garden, fitness trail, bike rides on the Green Avenue and why not ... evening at the casino and relaxation session at the SPA of the Domaine de Forges. labeled Family Plus,
Activities, shopping, restaurants are less than 1 km away.

Fantastic views and a convenient location

Lovely quiet situation overlooking the tranquil lake, great walks on the door step for the dog and the town centre is a 5 min drive away with all the conveniences you need. Some great restaurant recommendations from Martine - thank you!

Nice house nicely situated

Beautiful house by the lake where we could take walks in the close by forest with our dog. Only caveat - some minor things would need to be fixed / renovated (I.e. door of the refrigerator).

Beautiful property

As soon as you walk into La Maison Du Lac the view of the garden and lake takes your breath away. The property was relaxing and very comfortable. The property has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. There was even Shampoo, Soaps, Cleaning products Salt, Pepper and seasoning etc. The property is very central to lots of places. We visited Amiens, Honfleur, Rouen, Caen and Giverny. All with 1.5hours drive. I Would definitely recommend and would love to return next year.

Attractively situated pleasant gite

Pleasant stay in this little gite, nicely placed on the edge of town, but still a quiet area. Lovely to have a lake at the bottom of the garden. Gite was very clean and comfortable, Martine was excellent with communication. The huge glass windows made for a lovely view of the lake. Amazing restaurants in reasonable distance, lots to do in the area. Thank you Martine.

great location

firstly its a lovely house and a great location. Forges-les-eaux is a wonderful little town. As soon as we entered the property I looked into the kitchen area and the black floor tiles had some dirty foot marks on. upon going into the kitchen to put our food away I saw dirty sticky marks on the cupboard doors and then saw crumbs on the sides towards the back. I cleaned all the kitchen and the floor. I then decided to sweep to be on the safe side as we don't wear shoes inside at home or away. There was quite a lot of muck came up and grass. There was a woollen blanket on the bed in the room near the patio and it was covered in dog hairs I couldn't believe that it hadn't been noticed. The next day I hoovered the sofas and the deep pink chair as there were bits and hairs on those. Besides that we had a fabulous time. Le Valhalla which is just up the road was amazing, great food very friendly people too, we used google translate. The casino was a great experience and amazing food at the Le Bistro. We couldn't travel too far as our car wasn't used to heat and we were having problems, but we did venture out. We enjoyed having a BBQ and a wonder along the paths a the bottom of the garden. Made use of the bikes too, A handy tip keep the shutters down and leave the windows open when it's sunny as it gets like a green house inside the house, if you just leave them up and open the windows you get flies in. All in All it was a wonderful holiday and house.

Séjour en Normandie

Location conforme à l'annonce : linge de maison, cuisine bien équipée avec les condiments de première nécessité, électroménagers, TV, enceintes, ... Bien adaptée pour notre grand chat d'appartement. Les baies vitrées permettent d'avoir une belle luminosité même si la météo n'est pas de la partie. La chambre donnant sur la rue est très calme. Martine nous a indiqué les points touristiques, nous a demandé si la tondeuse automatique nous posait soucis et nous a signalé une petite fuite sous l’évier qui ne nous a aucunement dérangée pendant notre séjour. Une étoile en moins juste pour attirer l'attention, si cela était nécessaire, sur de petites choses de l'ordre de l'entretien général afin que cette jolie location garde sa superbe. A savoir, Martine propose d'autres locations qui ont l'air également bien sympathiques.

Geräumiges Ferienhaus mit Super Aussicht und Lagen

Jeden Morgen eine super Aussicht genießen. Tolle Küche mit bester Ausstattung. Sehr nette Vermieter. Vielleicht sind die Bilder etwas besser als die Ausstattung, aber das macht das Haus nicht wirklich schlechter. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gern wieder, da wir all die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung nicht geschafft haben. Rouen, Amiens, le Harvre usw.

Notre séjour fut parfait communication échange renseignements tout était comme promis le logement avec sa vue imprenable nous comptons revenir je vous le garantie. Les alentours fut diverses et variées nous avons été pour un enterrement d'une jeune fille toutes les activités étaient aux alentours ce fut vraiment parfait un coin de paradis non loin de Paris. Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, schöne Umgebung. Während de Aufenthaltes eher Temperaturen bis 25°C. Bei höheren Temperatur sollten man aufgrund der langen Fensterfront eine Klimaanlage in Erwägung ziehen.

Beautiful house in beautiful surrounding wunderschön Haus in toller Umgebung

Very warm wellcome from Martine and the house and the countryside were beautiful. We could walk with our dog just right away in the nearby wonderful forest. Forges-les-Eaux is about 1/2 hour or 1 hour drive to all interesting locations, like rouen, the coast and countryside towns. Thank you Martine for having us. Die verbrachten 2 Wochen waren wunderschön. Schnell waren wir im nahegelegenen Wald und in Forges-les-Eaux. Es hat uns sehr gefallen und wir wurden sehr nett von Martine empfangen. Absolut empfehlenswert.
