Summary:
Flurry Lodge is a beautiful, recently remodeled, 4 bedroom and 3 bathroom home that backs up to the National Forest on Peak Seven in Breckenridge. The home is located just three miles from downtown Breckenridge and the ski resort. This is an ideal place for friends or family seeking a tranquil environment close to everything Breckenridge has to offer!
The Space:
The main level of the home is located on the upper floor and features a large living area with high, vaulted ceilings and plenty of windows that provide natural light and forest views. The living area features a wood burning stove (wood provided), comfortable furniture and a large TV. A fully-equipped kitchen has all of the conveniences a chef could ask for to prepare meals. There is a large dining room table for your group to enjoy meals together and plan the day’s adventures.
The main level also features three of the four bedrooms Flurry Lodge offers. There is a bathroom and a guest bedroom with a queen size bed off of the living area. A barn door slides open to access a children’s room that has two twin beds and access to the wraparound deck. Through the children’s room you access the master bedroom, which has a fantastic king size bed, couch, and en suite bathroom with heated floors! The master bedroom also has direct access to the wraparound deck that overlook a large fire pit, horseshoe pit, and beautiful National Forest.
Please note that like most homes in Breckenridge, we do not have A/C.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the unit, as well as access to outdoor parking, and will be provided instructions to access directly at check in.
The lower level includes a garage for storing your equipment and plenty of hooks to hang all your belongings when you enter. There is a bedroom on the ground floor that includes a king bed and en suite bathroom. Additionally, there is a washer and dryer on this level that guests will be able to use throughout their stay. The ground floor has a fully separate unit that is occupied by a full time renter. The renter has shared access to the garage.
Flurry Lodge has tons of board games for all ages to enjoy as well as snowshoes for hiking right out the back door! A huge outdoor fire pit faces the National Forest and provides for wonderful mountain enjoyment. There is a selection of books in the reading area for you to relax and enjoy in the quiet setting.
The Neighborhood:
This location offers fast access to all sorts of outdoor adventures! You'll be right next to Peaks Trail, an eight-mile trek in the White River National Forest that runs from Breckenridge to Frisco, and offers stunning mountain views. In nearby Iowa Hill, you'll find a lightly-trafficked trail loop with a beautiful forest setting. Bikers should check out the Blue River Bikeway, a paved trail which traverses nine miles and is great for all skill levels and ages. Access to the Bikeway is just a short drive away. When it's time to relax, check out Broken Compass Brewing, one of the best breweries in the country; it's less than two miles away and offers a free brewery shuttle--service begins 11am every day! Also nearby is Breckenridge Distillery, an award-winning and stylish new restaurant offering modern American cuisine with altitude. The listing is a short drive from downtown Breckenridge, a hub of culture with festivals, dining, and shopping experiences, and even historical tours running all throughout the summer months. There are walking paths in town to view the beautiful scenery and stumble upon some of the hidden gems that make the town so wonderful in the summer months.
Getting Around:
Free public transportation options include the Summit Stage and Breck Free Ride buses. Uber is also available in town!

Please provide an accurate guest count prior to booking. Rates vary throughout the week and season and by number of guests. It's important that your guest count is accurate so we can be sure the home is adequately prepared and stocked for your stay.
4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
Interaction with Guests:
We have tons of board games for all ages to enjoy as well as snowshoes for hiking right out the back door! Guests will have full access to the upstairs unit, outdoor parking, and back yard. There is a full time tenant in the ground floor unit, which is completely separated from the unit you will be renting. The garage space is shared between the two tenants.
