It is a great property with an engaging history. Here are a few opportunities for improvement. -plowing was inadequate.... -ice buildup near the front door made access a little "dicey" I even spread some ice-melt & tried to chop the ice, on the area near the door but it had little impact. -the key box operation was challenging. I have a key box at my ski home which just operates with a simple code to open. The two level operation of this key box was cumbersome. -TV instructions for the main living area are woeful and need to be updated. -Post the internet access instructions somewhere prominent. Otherwise, the house suited us fine and we had a great week of skiing, Kevin Rich

Great Family Place!

It felt like camping with the convenience of a home! The house was big, clean, and had everything we needed. It can easily sleep 10 (1 king, 2 queens, and 2 twin bunk beds), so not sure why it says 8. We had a family from newborn up to 63 and we were all quite comfy! We all decided we will try to make this an annual trip to the Flurry Lodge! We saw two moose and walked down to the stream. The property goes right up to White River National Forest! It is close to Mainstreet Breckenridge and lakes and hiking trails. There is a fire pit in the back yard that we roasted s’mores on. There is a lovely wrap-around deck for drinking coffee/tea/wine/beer. It was just lovely!

Comfortable place!

We had a great stay at Winterwood. We came in the summer for a wedding. It was very comfortable for 6 adults, with a room each couple. (The room with the bunk beds is attached to the master suite so it would be a little awkward for other adults to stay there). Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. The area was quiet at night. We had a great stay!

Cool spot

We stayed at the Flurry lodge over the “blizzard” weekend to ride at Breck. It is a really chill spot with tons of room. It was awesome to have a wood burning stove in the living room after long days on the slopes. Will definitely be looking to stay again in the future.

Great place near Breck

Great house not far from the slopes with numerous comfy beds, great for large groups. The windy road up might be tough in heavy snow but was fine when we were there. Overall our stay was great, only complaints are that the place could you a dusting and the stovetop has some gunk stuck in it that smokes when cooking.

Great Experience!

For the most part, the experience was excellent. Our family loved the location, and the accommodations were good. The only complaint was it floors could have been a little cleaned. It was a little dusty under the furniture, and we found a few miscellaneous items under furniture like a few skittles under a couch, and a sock under the bed. Not a game changer. We would rent this property again!

Great house with awesome view

This is an awesome place to stay in the summer. Beautiful views of the mountains and easy access to town. We loved the back balcony. We had a few issues with dryer not working, the master shower faucet, and we didn’t know there was a hot water heater switch until the next day. The manager was hard to reach so the dryer and shower didn’t get fixed til the last night so he gave us a partial refund. There is a tenant who lives on the bottom floor with a separate entrance. They were really nice and tried to help us fix things. Overall this is a great place to stay.

Wonderful home, we wanted for nothing.

We had a wonderful stay at Flurry Lodge! The location of the home is gorgeous and the night sky is amazing! The home had everything we could ask for. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with extra paper products, toiletries, and spices, oil, etc. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, there was nothing we wanted that we didn't have. The living room had a wonderful wood burning stove (with wood provided) that heated the whole space. The couch was extremely comfortable as was the area rug for those that prefer floor sitting. The entertainment options were extensive including cable tv, chromecast, and a dvd player. The two bedrooms we used were large and the beds very comfortable. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Not quite what we expected

The part of the house where we stayed was nice but there is too much action in the circle especially from the tenents who also occupy the house. Also, the bedroom TV did not work. The bathrooms were not clean when we arrived. We wanted a private getaway and this rental is not that.

Felt right at home

We have stayed here before and keep coming back. This time we had family in from Chicago, & Michigan. It’s such a nice place to stay and visit with friends and family. Everyone had plenty of room and was impressed with the amenities. We love the recent upgrades too! We will definitely be back again.

Great Place!

Flurry Lodge was perfect for our quick ski weekend. Very nicely appointed, with plenty of space. It’s on a very scenic road not far from Main Street. I would recommend a 4x4 vehicle during winter as the road is very steep with some sharp turns. Overall though highly recommended!

What a cabin

I was here Aug 6 thru the 13th. It rained EVERY DAY. But the cabin offered so much we were able to keep our kids entertained. The owners have several games (cards and board), cable with HBO and HBO on Demand for free movies, DVD player, and Wifi. Basically everything at home. When it wasn't raining, the location was great. Easy access to Colorado 9 to get into Breck (less than 5 minutes) and to Frisco (about 10 minutes). We were also able to enjoy a camp fire the first night the weather allowed. It was my kids' and wife's first trip to Colorado and they loved it. My 7 year old wants to move there. This cabin was a big reason why!

Spring Break in Colorado!

My family of 6 spent a week at Flurry Lodge in March and loved every bit of it. The house is super comfortable and was ideal for us. The master bedroom and bath upstairs was like a spa for my wife and I. The kids spread out in the other rooms. The kitchen/dining/greatroom was where we congregated for games, March Madness and meals. The short drive to the base of Breck was no hassle at all and we parked at the base of the gondola each day. Flurry Lodge feels like a Colorado lodge - which is exactly what we flatlanders from MN wanted. We will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing your wonderful mountain home with us.

Great house in a great location.

House was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked and gas grill on deck was used daily. It is tucked away in the pines on a quiet hillside and is just a few minutes drive to the slopes of Breckenridge. Would definitely rent again and would recommend to family and friends.

We didn't want to leave!

This was the prefect location for us. We enjoyed having our dogs with us as we hiked right out the backyard. The home was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. We will definitely keep this place in mind for a return trip! The neighbors were friendly and a delight. No issues at all. Would love to find a similar home to buy in Breck!

Warm and Welcoming

The best part of staying at Flurry Lodge was how welcoming and homey it feels. The beds are comfortable and the view off the back deck is spectacular. The property manager is very accommodating. I would definitely recommend it for your next family vacation.

Breckenride Vacation

I have stayed in many rentals around the states and Desiree has been great, she was super fast with her response to questions or concerns we had during our stay, which is not always typical. The lower windows in the home are actually a separate space that has a permanent renter with a friendly dog. Flurry Lodge was very relaxing and beds were very comfortable, wifi was easy. We had the pleasure of seeing 2 bull Moose and a Female which we watched off our balcony as they made their way. If you are not to be climbing stairs lots then this home is not for you, we almost brought my 93 year old grandfather who would have never been able to get in or out of the house. The upper level has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the living and kitchen area. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook, the open floor plan is nice and comfortable. The book you read upon arrival is very helpful. There is no parking in the garage and you are only allowed to park on the right side, which can be a bit narrow with a high retaining wall as the permanent renters have two vehicles they park from the middle to the left side and you can not park on the street because you may get ticketed. We made a fire in the fire pit one night which was very enjoyable, you must collect your own wood which is not a big deal as it is in abundance on the ground. It is quiet and peaceful and only a short drive to town, we drove down nightly to the river that runs through town and walked a great walking path, my husband also fly fished there and caught the largest trout, it is catch and release which we enjoy. We also did several hikes, Hoosier pass we saw several Doll Sheep and their babies. There is a mine tour and we rented a pontoon boat on Lake Dillon in Frisco which is a short drive. The Gondola is a 5-10 minute drive from the house with no weather and you can take airport road straight to it. There was a grocery and gas station about 5-10 minutes away and very accessible. It was really nice to be able to take our dogs as they are our furbabies and we were happy to clean up after them to leave the area clean. The only concern is that the neighbors and the tenants below will let their dogs run free, this caused some concern a few times when we were outside walking ours. Overall this was a really nice rental and we would stay here again.
