A Great View in Town

This apartment is truly in the perfect location – slightly away from the hubbub of the historical centre, but close enough to walk there and to the famous avenida da Liberdade as well as Restauradores and Rossio squares. On your way back you can enjoy the oldest lift in Lisbon (1884), the "elevador da Lavra". Perfect for a quiet break while sightseeing.
Located on a high floor of a building with a lift, it has a fantastic view of the whole town, out to the Tagus River and Sao Jorge Castle. The neighbourhood is composed by a beautiful public garden with bars and restaurants around and is very well served by public transports to many places in town.
The apartment is classically elegant and very comfortable. You will feel immediately at home here, with its tasteful décor creating a warm and welcoming athmosphere. The living room is filled with light, with large windows and a wraparound balcony where you can enjoy the view. The kitchen is very modern and impeccably equipped.
The layout is the following: living room with lounge and dining area, two balconies, bedroom 1 (double bed, ensuite bathroom – bathtub and toilets, bedroom 2 (twin beds), bedroom 3 (twin 90 beds), shower room (shower and toilets).
Linens, sheets and towels are provided. The beds will be freshly made on arrival.

Beautiful views, lovely spacious apartment!

Marc's apartment was delightful in every respect. It has ample space (in fact is quite large), a nice kitchen, balconies from two of the three bedrooms and delightful views and living spaces. Highly recommended for your stay in Lisbon! We hope to return.

Just wonderful

Unbeatable views. The living room furniture is lived in but comfortable, the art is interesting, one feels at home. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are great with strong water pressure and abundant hot water. There is a washer and an honest to god dryer! The kitchen is well equipped and the host gave us some cheese, a bottle of wine and espresso pods for the machine. There is a market one half block away. The one weird thing about the apartment was the layout with the kitchen farthest away from the dining area.The owner is charming and informative, a few early bumps in communication ( we forgot the Lisbon code) proved unimportant. The elevator was a blessing. A 24 hour car park was a short walk through a lovely park filled with colorful birds. Nearest the apartment in the park is a children’s playground. Around the corner is a gelato shop, and a good cafe is across the street.Did I mention the views?Wow!

A magical stay in lisbon

Enjoyed the stay in central apartment in Lisbon

Upscale modern apartment in central location of Lisbon. Host gave clear instructions and keys on check-in. He charges by number of guests so be sure to accurately list the number of guests for an accurate price or there is additional charge. Overall a nice apartment with a great view but a little bit pricey.

Almost perfect!

Outstanding personal residence, beautifully appointed, with amazing views. 2 couples and 1 single adult had plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The only negatives were the lack of air conditioning, even with windows open, it was quite warm. The key to get into the building was very, very temperamental and we were left waiting outside several times for a while until we could get in. All in all, we'd stay there again!and 2 bathrooms.

First trip to Lisbon.

Three Nights in Lisbon is not enough, especally if staying at Marco's stunning apartment. We have to go back sooner rather than later, Thank you Marco for a tremendous trip.

Loved the place

spacious property with stunning furniture. Great view. Old world layout with public spaces at the entry and bedrooms down the hall with the kitchen at the far end of the hall. Our keys did not work to open the front door so make sure they work at check in. Well stocked kitchen. two elevators to take you to the rooftop for drinks.

What a week in Lisbon! First time and apartment was perfect. Travelled with family of 6 and had room

Apartment was fantastic! Plenty of room for family of 6. Great location. Kids really enjoyed park across the street. No AC and a little hot during the day but it was summer. Cooled off perfectly in the evenings.

Great Views in Lisbon

My family really enjoyed our visit to Lisbon. Host met us at the property and was great. He went out of his way to offer restaurant suggestions and walk us thru his villa. We had a great visit and the home was very comfortable. We hit Lisbon at what I expect was the hottest 3 days of the year so we were a touch warm but expect the windows and fans do trick 99% of the year. Also, the views are really amazing.

Lovely home

This is a lovely home with a beautiful view. Marcos is a great responsive host who does his very best to ensure you have a great stay. We enjoyed this property immensely and had a great time here. Very easy to get to city center and back too. Hope to be back someday.

Lovely neighborhood beautiful apartment.

The apartment was Spacious, comfortable, And has wonderful views. Be sure to let the manager know how many rooms/beds you will be using so that all are made when you arrive. There is no dedicated on-site parking. Closest overnight parking is about three blocks away @ €18 per day. The owner kindly left us a welcome basket consisting of a bottle of wine, snacks and coffee. Very thoughtful!

Apartment and view that can’t be beat in Lisbon

We enjoyed everything about our stay, from the advance communication, to check-in, to the wonderful apartment itself, and checkout. This apartment really does have the best view in Lisbon! It was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could think of. Our hosts were so gracious - even letting us store our luggage before the apartment was ready when we had a change to Our train schedule. They were lovely, and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Highly recommend!!

An Incredible Home to Enhance the Lisbon Experience

This home is off-the-charts amazing, as are the owners. It is beautiful with incredible views, fascinating decor, and comfort as well. When not admiring the views, we were admiring the stunning art, furnishings, and architecture. Marc and Maria are top-grade hosts that treat the renters as guests, unlike many managers. They provide recommendations for sites, restaurants, and anything else that would enhance your stay. We were even provided cheese, crackers, and Portuguese wine as a treat after a long trip. We are appreciative for the wonderful experience!

Amazing in every way!

We were four friends traveling three weeks in Spain and Portugal. Check in was a breeze, Marc was there when we arrived. The photographs are good but in no way do the apartment justice. The views are amazing! This apartment is centrally located, well appointed and full of artistic touches. A bakery, gelato shop, Portuguese restaurant, supermarket and park are just steps away. It’s down hill all the way to the coast. You can walk back but a taxi ride is about seven euro and worth it. Staying here was a highlight of our trip.

Five Star Views!!

We loved it! Our first visit to Lisbon and we enjoyed the authentic neighborhood and location for 4 days of walking, sailing and excursions outside the city. Marc’s apartment was his personal home which we respected. Our older kids had the rooms with the views as well. We enjoyed a night in and cooked in the well appointed kitchen. Cheers! We’ll be back!

Lovely Lisbon Home

Marc was a wonderful host, greeting us at the apt and showing us all the ins and outs. It’s very spacious and well-appointed, as well as located within walking distance of the central area. The only thing we misjudged from the photos was the size of the balcony, which is just a little larger than a Juliette…not nearly big enough to sit out on in the evening to enjoy a cigar and glass of wine. We did, however, open the French doors, pull up the chairs, and enjoy the lovely wine and cheese plate Marc and Maria provided as a warm welcome. Tasty! The beds were very comfortable, showers hot with great pressure, and pretty much everything we needed was provided. It is fairly common in Europe to not provide wash cloths or separate hair conditioner, so we have learned to bring them with us. This was our first visit to Lisbon (which we thoroughly enjoyed!), and Marc’s hospitality (including restaurant recommendations) made our trip all the more memorable. Highly recommend this home away from home!

Great time in Lisbon

Absolutely beautiful apartment with fantastic views from almost every window! While being a large apartment, it feels like home. The owner has many lovely photographs of the Lisbon area he took himself on the walls. The neighborhood has many restaurants and a grocery store very nearby. Many sights a 15-20 minute walk away. We used Bolt (like Uber) to get around town. Very easy and inexpensive as of April 2024. 4 old friends enjoyed their time here. We would highly recommend!

New Years in Lisbon

My family (wife, three adult sons) visited Lisbon for the first time during the week of December 25/January 1. The host is a phenomical gentleman who was very helpful and always available. The property is very clean, attractive, has a phenomical view, is tastefully decorated with antiques, and has all the amenities of home. In fact, it felt like home. The neighborhood was very safe and numerous attractions and restaurants were within one to two blocks. I highly recommend the property and greatly appreciate the host's hospitality and generosity. The high ratings the property and host have received are deserved, and you will not be disappointed. I hope to return to beautiful Lisbon and the property.

Our lovely Lisbon stay

We are five old friends who travel together each autumn. This year, we were so excited to visit Portugal, with Lisbon being the last stop on our two week trip. This apartment was absolutely perfect. It was spacious, warm and beautiful, very well appointed with spectacular views. Our hosts guided us to helpful neighbrhood ammenities (cafe, patisserie, grocerie store, local restaurants), which were all very close by. It was just a wonderful stay and we do hope to someday return to further explore this enchanting city.
