THE ASPEN CHALET features 2 living rooms, 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. A large yard features a hot tub, grill, 2 decks and a fire pit. FUN TIMES -Ski Trips, weddings, reunions,retreats, golf trips, ladies/ guys weekends! This property has three separate chalets. If you are looking to house up to 50 people at one time this is the perfect location for you to entertain your guests!

This was the dirtiest place we have ever stayed. We would have walked right back out the door and stayed somewhere else but no other places were available!!! Do not rent here!

We received the wrong code to enter, which was handled. No forks to eat with adjusted for it first night then went and bought plastic, minimal coffee mugs, NO WI-FI NO TV service entire time. Low wat

Steer clear of this one...

I would not recommend this rental. We had issues from the moment we arrived. Keyless entry was broken. It did get fixed by a repair man. The house smelled awful. We didn't think much of this, and just ran to the store and bought candles. Sat on a bed and it broke. When we lifted the bed to fix it there was a large decayed dead bird under it. Went to the basement to look for something to hold it up, and found a live raccoon in the basement. There were lots of mouse droppings in the kitchen cabinets. The upstairs bathroom did not have enough water to use the shower. The sliding glass door has no lock or handle. This house needs a lot of attention. It did not feel clean or safe.

High-Capacity, Simple Amenities, Close to Mountains

This house is simple but can fit loads of people. Our group of 10 people fit with each couple using their own room. There was a massive hole in one wall with piles of dust and cobwebs showing. The Showers worked, but the shower doors were nearly falling off and the shower floors were stained. Also, the house appears to receive well water—or a similar hard water that has a distinctive sulfur taste. This was a great place to crash with a large group that mainly spent time on the mountain and in town.

Wrong key code given. Family of raccoons living in vent and basement area. Smell of dead animal in upstairs bathroom. Thermostat broken. Shower nozzle broken. All of these are separate stories.

The positives- very convenient location. House has tons of space to sleep 15-20 easy. Plenty of parking and tons of kitchen accessories for cooking etc. nice deck off kitchen perfect for a large group The negatives- - hot tub didn’t work at all (was also filthy) no response from owner - electric fire place didn’t work - the thermostat upstairs is broke resulting in heat being pumped out all night making sleeping difficult. -communication with the owner/manger non existent - overall cleanliness of the whole house inside was lacking -old sheets still ok beds and pull out couches (gross)

A little disappointed for what we paid for it ! Toilets didn’t flush and showers weren’t functioning properly , old and dirty. Don’t feel like we should’ve been charged cleaning fee .

Neither clean nor well-kept

The house was absolutely filthy and unsanitized when we arrived. Toilets and tubs were gross. The upstairs thermostat was broken and was pumping heat making sleep difficult. We couldn’t turn ceiling fans on because they were covered in dirt. We couldn’t enjoy the hot tub because the bottom was filled with dirt. We also couldn’t enjoy the electric fireplace because it didn’t work. Holes in the wall, numerous broken shades, and broken furniture gave made this feel like a frat house. Property managers completely unresponsive when we tried to contact them several times. Wouldn’t recommend renting for the price we paid.

Overall Good

Our stay was enjoyable and great location to spend the 4th of July weekend. Some of the property features seemed to have not been repaired in weeks. The upstairs bathroom was out of order and shower did not work. A piece of railing was broken off and the upstairs slopes down a bit. The sliding door in the back was already broke. The vacuum did not work which made cleaning more difficult and the grill was on and off working for the time that we were there. Some of the sleeping arrangements included futons/love couches, which we were aware before hand. However, previous guests sheets and linens were still in the couch and made it difficult to even pull out the couch to sleep on. There was also no communication about where to dispose the garbage after the weekend after contacting the host via text and not receiving a response. Overall, for a large group gathering this was a great location to get away but I do believe the house needs to be updated/repaired alongside some maintenance and cleaning work.

Frat house

The house reminded me of a frat house! The cable didn’t work and the showers were terrible. I definitely will never stay here again. I don’t think that this place has ever been updated

Ski Getaway at a frat house

House needs some updates (pretty badly). Pictures that are posted are a bit deceiving. Second floor is cut up to make more bedrooms and floor slopes down walking to the back of the house. We had to keep some of the windows open as the heat upstairs was a bit overbearing. Plenty If room for everyone and the kitchen table was a huge hit as it was massive so that everyone could sit down. When I first saw better the house it looked more like a college frat house, but all in all it provided what we needed for our trip.

Great for a large party

17 ladies spent the weekend here (on the hottest weekend of the year) and had a great time! If it’s the summer, I suggest bringing an extra fan or two from home. Great location!
