Relaxing Trip

My mother and I came here for a bonding trip. Our room was so cute! This was perfect for 2 to stay. Love the pool area in the common area we enjoyed relaxing and listing to the fountain in the pool. Property manager is amazing! She wanted to make sure any small details were taking care of. If you wanted to book a romantic trip for two this would definitely be a place to stay!

Christmas festival stay

Our stay at CanDi on the Cane was wonderful. As soon as we walked in I loved it. It smelled great and the host had Christmas music softly playing on the Alexa. A great touch. The room and deck area were both comfortable and relaxing. A short drive to the downtown area. Our host was very helpful with any questions we had and recommended a nice brunch spot for Saturday. I would absolutely stay here again if I get the chance to visit the area again. I highly recommend Candi’s place!

Such a great place to stay! The guesthouse is so cute and set up beautifully. The bed was very comfy. Cherie is the sweetest hostess and so accommodating. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the pool was the best!

Cute Bungalow

Absolutely beautiful property that this bungalow sits on. Owners were great and gave us privacy and also let us use the pool. The town pf Natchitouches is a hidden gem with wonderful people.

Close to downtown area, great parking (we had trailer for car show). Clean, a/c worked great, owner was accommodating. Only negative, door knob was loose and door not locking at times.

Candi indeed!

They call it Can Di on the Cane because it's sweet! Wonderful hostess and property. The heated pool was amazing! Great location,close to everything. Great breakfast in a charming atmosphere. Will return!

This one bedroom was a cozy, cute, and very clean place to stay. We enjoyed going walk by the river. Was not very far from downtown so we were able to get around fairly easy. We throughly enjoyed our stay here! Only con so can list is shower head stream was weak, which was minor.

Enchanting 23rd Anniversary Retreat

CanDi on the Cane was a picturesque setting for an amazing 23rd anniversary weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, CheriE, our most gracious hostess, shared the epitome of southern hospitality. Even though we arrived late in the evening, CheriE inquired about our trip, wished us a happy anniversary, and aquatinted us with the room before asking about our breakfast requests. The beautifully-appointed, shabby chic suite was cozy and inviting. Flickering, flameless candles cast a warm glow in the room. Left of the entry stood a large dresser, mini-refrigerator, and coffee bar stocked with complimentary treats and beverages. On the right, was an armchair with a magazine basket, the door to the bathroom, and a large armoire for clothes storage on top with necessities such as extra towels, an iron, and a first aid kit on the bottom. The bed was dressed in a white duvet cover with matching pillow shams and a quite comfortable mattress. After a relaxing night of sleep, sunlight shone through the transoms in the morning to fill the room with exciting energy to begin the day. We chose to eat our delicious breakfast each morning on the charming screened porch overlooking the water. Attention was not spared on even the most minute details. Our retreat to the quaint town of Natchitoches was made even more magical by lodging at CanDi on the Cane. If you are looking for a perfect bed and breakfast retreat only a mile from the festivities of town, look no further than CanDi on the Cane. You will not be disappointed!

I love to travel, and I love to create an environment for travelers that is memorable. Featuring our property on AirBnb is a first step to formalizing a dream of running a formal Bed & Breakfast.

I have a very modern family, celebrating 10
years of marriage. A very social 7 year old boy who has a 10 yr old shitzu as a fur-brother, who has a 3 yr old shitzu as a girlfriend. They each enjoy entertaining and showing their hospitable side.

We hope you will choose our tranquil setting, nestled in one of America’s Top 10 ‘Best Historic Small Towns’ (featured in USA TODAY) as your landing place. We hope you love it so much, we become your destination spot.
