The castle of Estrac, which overlooks the gaves gathered from the top of its rock is love at first sight, it combines beauty in nature in a peaceful country house and the proximity of Biarritz, Bayonne, Dax, the Landes beaches, the Basque Country and the Béarn.

We wish, when you come to offer you more than a place to rest, it is a place of appeasement, enrichment through our large hundred-year-old trees, our antiques, our classic decoration, as many elements which will give you the feeling of having crossed time to find the scents of yesteryear…

Placed on foundations from the 14th century, the castle has evolved gracefully over the centuries until today it has become an elegant and discreet architectural ensemble where calm reigns supreme.

The wooded park between the Bastide, and a wooded fringe plunging into the river, will allow you an easy rest by simply strolling or even by relaxing by the pool which offers a view of the Barthes and the fields of Kiwis.

The private apartments guarantee you a soft intimacy if that is your wish.

In addition to your private suite, the reception room, the large living room, the library, the gardens, the outdoor dining room with plancha and the swimming pool are at your entire disposal.

We live in the castle which is our main residence and are therefore available if needed.

Great stay in a nice and tranquil location

Great location, and a lovely chateau. The 18th century origin can be seen in places, however nothing that take the experience of a great location and wonderful hosting away. Not a place to bring younger kids - even though the pool is great - as the chateau holds many artifacts that could "get in the way" of playing kids and ball games at the property is recommended against by the owners. Would be great with more WiFi coverage (only available in 2 downstairs rooms) as somewhat of an inconvenience to rely on own data to connect with the wider world (also for planning of where to go in the area). Location was just wonderful and we had the luck of becoming part of local festival in Hastingues, which was absolute superb. Thanks to Eric and Remy for great hosting

Extraordinaire !

Le château est une véritable petite merveille ou le temps est en suspens, la sérénité du lieu est fantastique, dès le premier jour, nous avons dormis comme des nourrissons tant le calme y règne en maitre. La décoration vous plonge comme promis au XVIIIème siècle, c’est comme si nous avions visités un beau château et finalement y étions rester pour dormir, une expérience unique qui plus est agrémentée par l’accueil bienveillant des propriétaires Eric & Remy qui ne cessent de faire en totale discrétion tout leur possible pour améliorer encore davantage ce séjour déjà parfait. Merci à eux pour leur gentillesse et leur attention permanente. Nous recommandons plus que chaleureusement cette adresse unique en son genre !!
