It has everything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cottage has everything you need for a wonderful lakeside vacation. The weather was perfect. We had coffee outside every morning and enjoyed our dinners outside as well. The backyard is partially shaded so if you need a break from the sun just move over to another chair. You are just a few steps to the water. The kayaking was so relaxing. We enjoyed the fire pit. Everything is very well maintained and instructions for the cottage are clear. It was so easy to communicate with the owner. We could not have been happier with our stay!

Cosy Blue House on Lake Huron

The house was a perfect fit for our multigenerational family of 8. The kitchen had everything needed plus a huge farmhouse table for dinners and playing games. Comfy living areas and the kids room with double bunk beds, toys, games and a tv was fun! The house was exceptionally clean. But the best areas were outdoors—porch, fire pit, several sitting areas to enjoy that gorgeous view!! Aaron was awesome to work with. We’ll be back next year!!

A sparkling gem

Taho had everything we needed. A perfect get away on spectacular Wild Fowl Bay. We loved it and want to return. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Bedrooms accommodated my family and we very much enjoyed using the paddle boards. Water was warm and calm. Owner was so accommodating and responded quickly to questions. 10 out of 10.

Enjoyable visit

Our three kids (10, 8, 4) were in the bay 10 mins after arrival. We visited in late July and the water was comfortable. The bay is only a few feet deep for a good distance out. I was fine barefoot along the shoreline but kids may want water shoes if they’ll enter the water through the little beach on the side of the property. There’s a great public beach across the street that is perfect for sand castles and hanging out as well! The house has a big dinner table that turned into half storage half dining area for us. The beds were comfortable and the 5 of us never felt cramped while we were inside. We spent more time outside around the fire pit or at the bar overlooking the bay. Also, there’s plenty of games and activities for the kids in the bunk bed room next to the tv. Thanks for an awesome stay.

Relaxation by the Lake

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Host communicated every step of the way. The house has a beautiful cabin feel. My husband and I enjoyed our private main bedroom on first floor and kids spread out in the upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs bunk-bed kid area that came stocked with DVDs, video games, puzzles and more. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessities (coffee maker, Keurig, pots/pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc). Kids enjoyed cooking breakfast and even baking a pie. The back patio is inviting and the view amazing. What I (mom) personally enjoyed is that the lake was very shallow (just a couple of feet high) for quite a distance. I didn't have to worry about the water being dangerous for the kids, so I could relax and enjoy watching them paddle boarding and kayaking. This area is amazing and we'd love to return again.

Fantastic

One of our top new favorite destinations for vacation. The little town was adorable the cabin was amazing and just the right size. It was so peaceful and perfect right in the bay. The kids loved kayaking and tried paddlboards for the first time. The water was so pretty and relaxing. Very shallow so it was a perfect spot to let kids splash and play. We had so much fun. Thanks for opening up your home.

Summer trip 2022

My family and I rented this property in August of 2022. The house is on the bay with a beautiful view of the bay. The house was clean and comfy. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Lake Huron is on the other side of the road from the house. The water in the bay was warm and shallow so we played in it all day. The next day we went over to the Lake Huron side and enjoyed the clean beach and lovely water. Then at night we drove a few miles to Caseville for dinner , sight seeing and ice cream. All in all it was one of our best summer trips. I highly recommend this property for your next summer vacation.

You cannot go wrong with Taho.

Our Family had a wonderful time at Taho. The swimming was amazing. The cottage was great and had all the accommodations we needed. We brought our sweet dog who normally refuses to enjoy water and she ran up and down the beach and waded in the water with us because it was so warm. We had a week of wonderful memories made. The surrounding areas have always been our favorite and we have camped here for years. It has been a change for us to choose a cottage instead of the state park, but a very welcomed change for our family. Aaron is an attentive host. The view with coffee in the morning before anyone woke up felt like a guilty pleasure for me. Thank you for sharing your place with our family.

Beautiful location!

We loved the quiet location and the views, oh the beautiful views! The swimming was great and you can walk out quite a ways and still be waist deep which was nice! Listening to the waves hit the shore at night was so relaxing! The neighbors to the left were friendly. We seemed to have an issues with 3 different dogs visiting and defecating several times a day so we cleaned up poo several times a day (not the owners fault). Be prepared to bring your own TP, paper towels, dishwasher tabs and laundry pods. They only provide enough to start. There was 10 of us but only 6 bathroom towels, 2 washcloths and 4 beach towels. Both of the upstairs bedroom floors sagged really bad in the middle. I think maybe some support issues? I think the cottage is in need of a really good deep clean. We use VRBO 3-4 times a year and this stay was a little disappointing. On a side note: Todd was easy to work with and very friendly!

My family and I were so impressed by this beautiful cottage in an amazing location. The inside was very clean and comfortable. The location with water frontage on the Saginaw Bay was breathtaking.
