Quick response to questions made preparation for stay easy. Arriving to a well-stocked kitchen was more than could be expected, store for incidentals around corner, everything as noted in the description was available. Value was given for cost of stay. Central location with easy access to much of what people go to see in Paris. Easy access to apartment for visitors, in a very secure historic location. Travel services, metro, train, and air services to visit other French and further European sites is convenient. Metro and RER Trains are easy to access, near the apartment. We plan return trips; we would check to see if this apartment was available.
My husband and I loved our week-long stay at this lovely apartment in a historic building. It's a safe and central location in the city so it was easy to get to any neighborhood, either on foot or the subway. It's a fairly good-sized one-bedroom including a nice large living room with an amazing view of the Seine. We used the electric radiators occasionally on chilly nights and I had a video meeting while there which worked totally well on the WiFi. The shower isn't the strongest flow but did the job and there were no issues with the hot water. The host, Marie, left clear instructions and recommendations for restaurants, etc. We would absolutely stay at the apartment again if it's available during our next visit.
This apartment is the best ever location! The owner was very responsive, and the living room has a gorgeous view of the Seine and the 3 boats docked across the river that serve as floating bars. I don't recall if the listing description mentions that it is located in a beautiful, historic building with plaques with descriptions on the front.
You shouldn’t but you could spend your day looking out the living room windows overlooking the Seine watching life in Paris. Easy walk/metro everywhere. Lots of great restaurants. Marie is wonderful and easy to work with. Our 2nd stay here, looking forward to next time.
We stayed 5 nights and it could not have been any better. Very charming appartment and building on the elegant ile saint Louis . We will definitely come back .

Hidden Gem on the Seine
What a great apartment. The living room windows opened on to the Seine. After a day of touring we could sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds. Then having re-energized we could go out and sample one of the many very good places to eat and drink on Ile St Louis.
The apartment itself had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped and surprisingly stocked. There was a washing machine and a drying rack. It’s very spacious. It was clean, quiet, and wonderful.

Location, location, location!
We were entranced by the view of the Seine from our living room. In addition to all of the river activity, we enjoyed the party atmosphere offered by 3 floating restaurants on the other bank. It was so easy to navigate to other parts of the city from this central location. The flat is cozy and welcoming, and the bed, very comfortable. No problem with WiFi, and our initial concern about the lack of television was quickly allayed by the river scenes before our eyes. Highly recommend staying here. We look forward to our return!

Terrific view and location!
I stayed here, with my adult daughter, for nearly two weeks and it was just great. We loved the view of the Seine and often ate dinner at home after a long day of walking the beautiful city of Paris. The apartment is spacious and has everything you might need, especially in the kitchen.
We took full advantage of the fromagerie, boulangerie, creprerie and small market that were around the corner, not to mention the Berthillion ice cream locations. We regularly walked the Seine and viewed Notre Dame at night. It was an ideal location, with a Metro very close by.
Our host was wonderful and responsive to everything that we asked, including things beyond the scope of the rental. We definitely recommend this rental and also hope to be back soon!
Thank you Marie.

Highly recommend for numerous reasons.
Charming, convenient and quaint. Marie is a very gracious host. We felt very welcome and cared for. Easy access to everything. We Indulged daily in fresh bread and or pastry from the bakery directly around the corner. Notre Dame is 10 minutes away and is where we caught our tour bus every day. The neighborhood is charming and very safe even after dark. Directly across the bridge we delighted in some great grocery and clothes shopping. There is a Monoprix next to St. Paul's cathedral. We got everything we needed without having to walk too far. The only down side was that we couldn't get the internet to work for us and the heater was a mystery. We didn't spend a lot of time at home so I didn't bother to mess around with figuring it all out. My mom slept in the bed and I was on the couch. Even though it was small, it was very comfortable. Both of us were quite content. We had plenty of blankets to keep warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend staying here.

Charming, Peaceful, Well-Equipped and in the Middle of the City!
To look out the window and see the moon reflecting off the Siene is one of the most unforgettable experiences we had while in Paris. Everyday we walked into the streets, wandered around the parks, and explored the museums and monuments. When we returned at night to our idyllic island hide-a-way we felt a calm awaiting us. Marie shared her wonderful, spacious and fully equipped apartment with us. She was there to greet us, showed us around, and left a map of the city that was invaluable. It's a historic building and floors creak a little, but it is on a quiet street facing the Siene, and the bedroom looks out onto a courtyard. We can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return. Thank you Marie.
