Family house for 5 generations, consisting of 2 L-shaped buildings. The first includes the kitchen, the dining room, a WC and a small utility room + 1 very small bedroom under the slope above the kitchen. The second includes the living room, the 5 bedrooms, the bathroom, the shower room and a toilet. The enclosed garden is surrounded by walls and guarantees great tranquility. In the adjoining meadow there are 4 small brown Ouessant sheep but access is private.
It is located 15 minutes from the port and the center of the village (Le Bourg). There is no car on the island you will move there on foot or by bike. There is a small tourist train.

The Thrasher visit
A beautiful location on the Ile de Brehat with absolutely magnificent views. Easy to walk or cycle to the Bourg, but a little further from our family on the North island that I would have liked, only because of my age. Easy for the young ones.! We have had many stays on Brehat. The weather was exceptional with bright blue skies almost ever day. Overall we were very pleased with the house and location and plenty of space for ten people. There should however be some attention paid to the location and number of toilets for so many people and one of the floors downstairs needs some repair for safety.

Wirklich ein tolles Charakterhaus auf einer wundervollen Insel!
Charme und Geschichte umgeben das Haus der Familie Cornelius! - Liebevoll gesammelte Objekte und Bilder der Familie vermitteln den Eindruck, als ob man direkt in die Familiengeschichte Einblick nehmen kann. Der Garten ist wunderschön und zwei Schafe und drei Hühner begleiten einen durch den Tag auf der Wiese vor dem Haus. Unser Gastgeber war immer hilfsbereit und unkompliziert (bis auf den Check-out) Allerdings waren zum Teil auch die Kücheneinrichtung, die Betten und die Matratzen "historisch" - Das muss man mögen, sonst wird man sich im Haus "Idée fixe" nicht wohlfühlen. Insgesamt ein tolles Haus, um die Insel stilecht zu entdecken!

Maison de famille très bien située, à 10 minutes à pied de l'embarcadère. Propriétaires disponibles, à l'écoute. Jardin très agréable et très joli. Semaine reposante et revigorante !

Voilà une généreuse propriété.
Une maison en gaillard-avant, l'autre en gaillard-arrière, le jardin en guise de pont, sa vue en archipel... sur "L'Idée fixe" vraiment on est à bord de multiples belles choses et de mémoires offertes... chacune et chacun je crois s'en fait un viatique pour la vie - ce voyage somme toute immobile. Nous nous sommes sentis en effet libres dans la propriété de quelqu'un d'autre. Comme si nous avait attendu à "L'Idée fixe" un déroulé pudique d'une histoire avec laquelle plusieurs années de nos vies se plairaient à revenir prendre rendez-vous. En bref, c'est un lieu qui fait date. Ph Etard

Séjour Parfait
Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille. La maison est très agréable et parfaitement équipée. La vue sur la mer depuis le salon est magnifique, la maison confortable et le jardin très agréable. Les propriétaires ont été charmants et très arrangeants. Nous étions tellement bien que nous avons prolongé notre séjour de quelques jours.

Un week-end en famille hors du temps
Ces 4 jours à l'Idée fixe ont été fabuleux. Nous étions 10 : 6 adultes et 4 enfants, et tout le monde a pu profiter du séjour à son rythme. Les enfants ont apprécié les parties de cache-cache dans le jardin clos et fleuri, les jeux de société variés à disposition dans la maison, les baignades à la plage du Guerzido, et la pêche à pied juste sous les fenêtres de la maison. Les adultes ont aimé la vie insulaire coupée du monde, la tranquillité, les balades, les siestes sur les rochers, la proximité avec le bourg, le cachet de la maison familiale parfaitement équipée, chaleureuse et spacieuse, avec une vue incroyable du soleil se couchant sur la mer. On s'y sent bien, on a très envie d'y revenir!
