Perfect home away from home

False description

There was no dishwasher, no clothes dryer, no grill as advertised. We were told by a neighbour that these had been missing for over a year prior to our rental. The description of these items were taken down on the VRBO site after we complained. The air conditioner for the master bedroom was broken and lying on the ground and apparently had been that way for some time and did not work and was not repaired when we asked . The view was not updated on the site and is actually looking out on two gigantic construction sites with daily high noise. This is a poorly maintained villa with broken and missing items. For example, in spite of saying it can accommodate 10 people there were only 9 dinner plates , 7 salad plates and 5 bowls. One champagne glass and 3 wine glasses . We took screen shots of what the Villa advertised at the time of booking . We took screen shots of communication with the manager and owner. We complained to the owner who said take it up with the rental agency, which we did with no reply we went through the VRBO site chat who said send pictures of the deficiencies. We took pictures of all the deficiencies and sent them to VRBO but to date , 9 days later) we have had no reply from VRBO . This was fraudulent advertising and yet nothing has been done to rectify this. We have used VRBO for 15 years for rentals all over Mexico , Caribbean and Europe. This was the first really bad experience as the description was/is fraudulent. Had we known about the missing appliances and the monster construction in front of the villa we would never have rented this villa. Still looking for VRBO to make this right.

The property was everything we could have wished for. Clean, spacious and amazing views. Dealing with Vrbo on the other hand was a nightmare. No replies to queries, omitted to send me on correspondence from the host. I had to chase them everytime until finally I got the hosts contact details. From then on it was plain sailing. Will never use Vrbo again to book a villa

Perfect Getaway Retreat

We stayed for 10 days in January. The Villa could not have been more suitable. 5 Good sized double bedrooms all en-suite. Spectacular views from the terrace/swimming pool over La Sagesse beach. Would love to return sometime....

Living in Paradise

Renting the property was easy via the homeaway site. However, routine training of the reps can better help first time customers Like me. It took me 5 calls before a rep explained the process and what to expect, Once onsite, the property manager was amazing. He was on time to pick us from the airport and responded promptly to all our requests. Visitors should book a rental if they plan on exploring the island or the mgr can arrange transportation.

Wonderful place. Well maintained and outfitted. Excellent views and access to beach.

Absolutely loved the time we spent in St David. A bit of a drive to get back to St George but worth the effort. The home was beautiful and well maintained. Bentley Skeefe was an excellent host and facilitator. No matter the question or need he was instant in his response. The only drawback... the house could benefit with ac in all the bedrooms.

The property is most certainly off the beaten path with a beautiful view

Home was well maintained and Bentley is more than helpful with everything. The road to the house needs a little work, but the view is amazing. La Sagesse beach has wonderful people running the establishment and the morning swim was enjoyed by our girls who received the coveted t shirt!! I feel we got the feel of the locals being in such a remote location. Everyone has been more than helpful with any directions. Would definitely return here.

Paradise on the hill.

The house was clean and well equipped with all the necessities for a vacation home. The only drawback was the size of the fridge. My party consisted of six people and we made it work. However, bigger parties purchasing groceries may have a problem with insufficient cold storage. Bentley the house manager picked us up from the airport on time and assisted in all our request. He was a pleasure to work with. On our next trip to Grenada, we will be returning to the house if the dates are available. We already recommend the house to friends and relatives. The SUV rental through Bently is greatly recomended.
