About this property

Convenient and peaceful haven if you are here for work or play

The house is perfect for business travel, with three master suites each with an empty dresser and closet. We love young families and we want to supply what we can to make your travel easier. (Want more of our story? Find us on a popular sharing site “gram” under: sweettallyairbnb).

Each guest is provided a unique access code for the door. For security reasons, this code is provided on check-in day.

OUTDOOR PARADISE_____with multiple decks, lights, and a treehouse. The 1-acre lot is private with a thin grove of trees on each side, but it's not completely secluded. We have neighbors, and we ask that you observe quiet hours after 10pm. Music should never be loud enough to disturb the neighbors.

THE HOUSE____is clean and charming, but rustic with vintage tile and original windows. We fell in love with it and wanted to share it with others when our family outgrew the space. The custom-built kitchen is stocked with the basics - just add food.

Please note that our insurance does not permit us to have pets/animals on the premises. We maintain an ADT security system, and each guest is given a temporary code for their stay. We have never had cause for concern, but we use this to monitor the property between guests. For the same reason, we also have the Ring video doorbell system set up at our front and back doors. We turn off all notifications once we are notified that guests have arrived, and we turn them back on around check-out.

We love children! Upon request, we can provide a pack-and-play, a high chair, and a few toys.

At this time, due to abuse of our events policy, we are no longer allowing any events. The house is only available for personal stays.

Perfect, cozy cottage
We loved our stay! It was just perfect for our family as we visited our daughter at Florida State! It is so cozy and eclectic and just a cool place! Such a fun place to stay! We especially loved the art and I loved the live plants inside! The backyard was so fun for visiting and relaxing. We can’t wait to come back one day! Thanks for a great long weekend!

Fantastic Family Friendly Cottage
This was the perfect home for our friends and family for a Thanksgiving weekend. The rooms were warm and comfortable and decorated so tasteful. The living room and sitting room provided enough space for us to lounge around, talk and catch up. The outdoor space was perfect for the kids to play while we sat u see the lights with wine.

Fabulous Stay!
What a lovely place! Communication with the host, the decor and cleanliness of the space, and the close proximity to FSU campus were excellent! Each bedroom having an attached private bath was perfect for our group of 3 couples. The outdoor yard space as well as the plentiful seating indoors allowed for our college kids to join us for meals. We will definitely stay again!!!

Feels like home
This is a very comfortable historic home. The hosts are rapid to respond and easy to make arrangements with. They were very accommodating to our request to make a change in booking. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group and little extras in the kitchen were a very nice touch. It feels rural because of the large space and expansive outdoor area, but your are close to everything in minutes.

We had a fantastic stay at Tara's home for our daughter's graduation! The location was perfect, just a short drive to the university. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed. Tara, the host, was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the cozy outdoor area for our family/friends gathering. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Tallahassee!

Just what we needed
We were there for a graduation. Location was very convenient to grocery stores and parks and minutes from the graduation. Kitchen was well stocked so I had everything I needed to bake a cake and make breakfast. Outdoor area is absolutely perfect for a small family gathering. Lots of nice touches for people Of all ages, fun games and toys. We had a wonderful time.

Work weekend plus hangout space!
The cottage was wonderful. It had everything we needed. Loved that all three bedrooms had their own bathrooms for all of the adults we had with us. Tara even set up the extra bed that we needed before we got there. The outside area was wonderful. The younger and older kids (college age) loved playing outside. I would suggest a toaster for the kitchen that is it.

Family house for the wedding
Our extended family stayed at the house to attend our daughter's wedding. The cottage is absolutely adorable. We were able to use the outdoor space for breakfast the morning after the wedding. I hope we will be able to stay there on our future trips to Tallahassee. thank you

Enchanted cottage
An oasis of peace and coziness, absolutely enchanting and lovely! Perfect tree house for Peter Pan and the Lost Boys. It was hard to say goodbye.

Nice home away from home!
We stayed for 11 nights between Christmas and New Years. It was the first time our families had gotten all together in quite a while (4 couples and 3 small children). The back yard was great for the kids to play and for the adults to gather around the fire to catch up with one another. We cooked a LOT, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Tara, the owner, was great to work with.

Really Neat Property
It was a really cool property. Spacious outdoors. We had friends over for Thanksgiving and it was perfect. Had a nice fire going. Very close to stores but hidden a block away in the woods. Easy trip to FSU campus. There were some furry guests around (outside cats) that seemed to live on the property. They were very nice and entertaining. Overall a really great place.

Amazing backyard
We had a great stay at this house. The backyard is fantastic. We had an 80th birthday party there with family. There were 12 of us during the day and 9 at night. We set up a bunch of yard games and had plenty of room. The large backyard table was perfect as were the lights and firepit. Great ambience. The house was super cute with fun decorations. The three bathrooms were nice, and there was room for us all to sit around the TV and play Jackbox games in the evening. Great stay!

Lovely home
This is a lovely older home with lots of character. The home is welcoming and comfortable. It was very clean, and we had no issues. We were only there for one night, so we didn't take advantage of the beautiful backyard. The only negative was the busy road. The house sits off the road, but it was still a challenge turning in and out of the driveway. The traffic died down around 11 p.m., and the night was quiet, but the day time traffic was too loud for our comfort.

Tallahassee is a hidden gem, and this property shows how beautifully graceful oaks mix with palm trees for a feel all its own.

What makes this property unique

Guests love the back yard and that it is fun for young and old. It is also not easily walkable to restaurants or stores, but it's very convenient by car. We are a mile from I-10, and it is an easy 15 minutes or less (mostly less) to drive to most major points of interest in town.
