Located in the Regional Natural Park Loire-Anjou, between Tours and Chinon, 5 km from Azay-le-Rideau and 12 km of Langeais, between the forest of Chinon and the Indre valley, our house is a rural house independent of 80 m2 on closed ground. Tout était parfait
Didier et Patricia nous ont chaleureusement accueilli dans leur gîte confortable, parfaitement équipé (nous etions avec un nourisson de 1 an et enfant de 4 ans), bien placé, et rénové avec un respect de l'ancien dans une démarche écogique. La grange est un plus pour garer le véhicule et y stocker les vélo au sec. Nous y avons passé d'excellentes vacances.

A fruitful stay in a peaceful cottage
Despite some unseasonal cold and wet weather and suffering from colds caught on the ferry from GB we really enjoyed our 2 weeks at L’Abeille Bleue. What made it so great was the warmth of our hosts Didier and Patricia, a most welcoming and generous couple. Didier was so concerned that we understood how the heating system worked (we really needed it!) that he came in twice to check that we understood it. And we also benefitted greatly from gifts of fruit (peaches, apples, figs) and vegetables from their potager. We went home with a large box of figs for jam picked only a few feet from the back door. The cottage is a few minutes from Azay-le-Rideau and within easy reach of all the main Loire chateaux and other sites. The little settlement of Grand Vaujoint is very peaceful. We managed to sit outside when the sun appeared and could see that the shaded patio and garden would be great in the heat of summer. We walked several times on the small traffic-free roads around the cottage, which are virtually traffic-free. To cap it all we actually saw a blue bee on the wall by the patio!

We had a truly comfortable and peaceful week long stay here at L'Abeille Bleu. Didier and Patricia are lovely people and excellent hosts, we really appreciated the welcome. They have given much thought to equipping the property with everything you require for a perfect stay. The cottage is set in a rural area of peace and tranquillity, perfect for winding down but is also well placed for visiting the magnificent Chateau's, Vineyards and beautiful countryside in this region. A superb experience
Didier and Patricia are two marvellous people who have created a marvellous gîte. Its revealed stone, exposed beams and original floors create a beautiful environment, full of textures and shapes. This is complemented by modern kitchen and bathroom fixtures of the highest quality, and the superb wooden staircase and table in the kitchen. Everything is tasteful and delightful. The house is generously equipped: plenty of cutlery, towels, crockery, pans, chairs. Mosquito nets and blinds protected us effectively from heat and bites! The whole place was spotlessly clean - probably the cleanest gîte we have ever experienced in years of visiting France - and provided with cleaning materials to maintain that standard. Everything was provided to make the stay pleasant, easy and enjoyable. Our hosts gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and also maintained a discrete distance as we lived our parallel lives. The calm of the interior is matched by the peaceful surroundings: an excellent place to relax. Thank you for a superb experience!

Fantastic gite
Lovely, spacious house that comfortably accommodated five adults. It is extremely well equipped with tea towels, dishwasher tablets etc all provided. We especially enjoyed the outside space, eating out under the sail ok the patio and playing badminton and table tennis in the garden. The helpful owners have thought of everything!

This was a very comfortable gite. It was very well equipped and had a lovely welcoming feel to the place. The owners are lovely and welcoming. The location is excellent for exploring most of the chateaus. The local villages are beautiful and people are very welcoming.

Avant tout, l'accueil de Didier et Patricia est tellement chaleureux que l'on s'y sent en famille dès la première minute. Le gîte est d'une propreté remarquable. Tout y est. Tout est préparé pour une arrivée des plus confortables. Le cadre dans une campagne fleurie et le jardin aménagé font oublier le temps. La situation en plein milieu des monuments de la Loire permet d'effectuer plusieurs visites dans la même journée. A découvrir. MERCI

Fraaie en complete gite, rustig, schoon en gastvrije mensen
Fantastisch verblijf. Mijn vrouw en ik uit Nederland samen met mijn neef en vrouw uit Engeland. Een geweldige week beleefd. Heel gastvrije en sympathieke eigenaren die in het huis ernaast wonen. Rustig gelegen, 2 ruime slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Leuke tuin met kleine vogeltjes op bezoek! Schoon, compleet, comfortabel en ruim tegen zeer sympathieke prijzen. Een van de mooiste gites die mijn vrouw en ik ooit bezocht hebben (en we hebben veel ervaring).

Séjour excellent dans un gîte plein de charme
Nous avons passé une semaine excellente dans ce gîte confortable, parfaitement équipé et impeccable propre. Il est renové et décoré avec beaucoup de goût et les lits sont très confortables. Il y a d‘ailleurs une belle terrasse et un grand terrain plein de charme pour en profiter. En bref: Il y a tout ce qu’il fault pour passer un bon séjour et se sentir chez soi. Les propriétaires sont aussi charmants que leur maison: Nous avons été très bien accueillis avec une confiture maison et un bon vin de la région. Didier et Patricia sont très attentifs aux bien-être des vacanciers, chaleureux et gentils - des gens adorables. De plus le gîte est idéalement situé pour visiter les nombreux châteaux, sites et jardins en Touraine. Nous pouvons absolument recommander ce logement! Merci encore à Didier et Patricia!

Un precioso lugar
Hemos pasado unos días encantadores en casa de Didier y Patricia. Ellos son unos anfitriones excelentes: amables, simpáticos y pendientes de todo lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Están disponibles en todo momento y transmiten amor por la naturaleza del lugar. La casa es cómoda tal y como se muestra en las fotos y tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar de unos días de descanso en la campiña. Cuenta además con un hermoso jardín con árboles frutales, espacio para juegos o simplemente para perderse con la lectura de un libro. Además tiene una ubicación perfecta. a poca distancia de Azay-le-Rideau permite fácilmente visitar los castillos, los jardines y todos los sitios de interés de la zona. Sin duda hemos disfrutado mucho a estancia y estaríamos dispuestos a repetir pronto. Margarita

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus
Patricia und Didier sind liebevolle Gastgeber und haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Bei unserer Ankunft standen eine Flasche Apfelsaft aus eigenen Früchten, eine leckere selbstgemachte Pflaumenmarmelade sowie eine Flasche Wein aus der Umgebung für uns bereit. Auch im Laufe unseres leider nur einwöchigen Aufenthaltes wurden wir mit weiteren Produkten aus dem eigenen Garten verwöhnt. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und verfügt über alle notwendigen Haushaltsutensilien. Handtücher sind in mehr als ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. In der nächsten Umgebung (10 - 20 Minuten Fahrtzeit mit dem Auto) gibt es zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten zu bewundern. Das Haus ist daher ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. In der Wohnung liegen zahlreiche Informationen hierzu aus. Auch ein Besuch der Touristeninformation in Azay-le-Rideau lohnt sich. In Azay-le-Rideau finden sich auch zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir bedanken uns bei Patricia und Didier für die herzliche Aufnahme.

Great and very clean house situated near alot of beautiful Loire castles. The house itself has the comforts you expect and was bigger than it looked in the pictures. Good shower and beds, essential for a good stay with friendly hosts.

Notre séjour dans ce logement a été idyllique. L'accueil a été top, le logement est très bien équipé et nous avons bien profité du jardin avec mon fils pour faire du ping pong, du foot et des bbqs. Les alentours sont superbes ( La forêt de chinon est à 2 pas). Bref je recommande.

Wonderful Gîte and hosts
Fabulous property perfectly equipped and in a nice location a short drive from a beautiful village. The hosts Didier and Patricia were really friendly and helpful. They produce their own apple juice which was delicious. The gîte was absolutely beautiful and was missing absolutely nothing, the quality of the decor and fittings were excellent, it had plenty of outdoor space as well which was great given the weather for most of our stay. A big thank you to Didier and Patricia for a fabulous stay.

This home was immaculate. The owners had thought of everything and all was of the best quality. The refurbishment and decoration had been done in the best taste. Extremely comfortable to return to after a day out cycling. Slept very well aa the beds were so comfortable. Didier and Patricia are a lovely couple. I just wish I spoke enough French to have a longer conversation with them. It was convenient that they were just next door. Highly recommended!

Très bonnes vacances au calme à la campagne.
Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans le gîte de Didier et Patricia. Nous les remercions de tout cœur pour leur accueil, leur gentillesse et leur disponibilité. Tout deux sont très attentifs au bien-être de leur visiteurs. Le gîte est très agréable, bien équipé et l'endroit extrêmement calme. Tres bien situé pour les visites de nombreux chateaux.
