Perfect relaxation

There was a lovely rustic charm to the property. It was very well equipped and comfortable. The outdoor area was perfect, and very peaceful. Pierrette, who showed us around was so helpful and kind. All in all a lovely stay in a great location.

Vierter Aufenthalt hier und nicht der letzte

Wir sind zum vierten Mal in diesem Haus gewesen und werden es wieder tun! Der riesige Garten, die Ruhe, die Kulisse mit dem Chateau de Talmont als Nachbarn - all das trägt maßgeblich zur Erholung bei. Der Ort Talmont ist zwar nicht direkt am Meer gelegen, aber dafür hat man dort abends seine Ruhe. Sobald das Schloß die Pforten schließt, befindet man sich im Kreis der Anwohner. Vom Haus aus ist alles fußläufig erreichbar: Der Ortskern mit dem überdachten Markt, verschiedene Restaurants & Bars. Neu war in diesem Jahr das "La Base", die ehemalige Wassersportbasis am See, wo man nun am Ufer Snacks, Cocktails und lokal gebrautes Bier "No Panic" bei Live Musik genießen kann. Alles in allem einfach wunderbar!

Nous avons découvert qu'apparemment le paradis se trouve en Vendée

Nous avons passé deux semaines agréables sous le soleil de la Vendée. La maison est absolument fantastique! Nous avons été accueillis avec gentillesse par Pierrette. A première vue, la maison semble petite, mais dès que vous êtes à l'intérieur, vous verrez que toutes les pièces sont de taille décente avec des lits confortables. La cuisine offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour préparer un bon repas, ou même faire cuire un gâteau. Nous avons également fait bon usage du barbecue et de la grande terrasse. Le jardin spacieux et tranquille est un véritable paradis. Vous pouvez vous détendre dans un hamac ou dans l'une des chaises longues. Vous pouvez même jouer au ping-pong. Prêt de la maison, vous trouverez le village au coin de la rue avec la boulangerie à distance de marche et les supermarchés sont très proches. Dans les environs, vous trouverez de nombreuses choses à voir et à faire. Nous vous recommandons de visiter le château avec les spectacles équestres et la fauconnerie pendant la journée et un spectacle nocturne une fois par semaine dans l'été. Nous reviendrons certainement dans cette belle maison!

Au calme dans la nature

Gîte très bien équipé, les enfants ont bien profité du grand terrain sans vis-à-vis. On a aussi apprécié le local à vélo avec les vélos mis à disposition. Et l'accueil de Pierrette est au top !

Immer wieder pure Erholung

Wir waren nun das dritte Mal in diesem Haus. Wie immer war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es werden immer wieder Renovierungsarbeiten vorgenommen. Die Ausstattung ist absolut komplett. Die Betreuung ist perfekt. Der große Garten ist ein Traum, das Chateau de Talmont direkt nebenan mit wöchentlichem Feuerwerk, der Kamin für kalte Tage. Durch die Waschmaschine und den Trockner und die kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellte Bettwäsche kann man das Gepäck auf ein Minimum reduzieren. Einfach klasse, wir kommen nächstes Jahr sehr gern wieder.

Auch zum zweiten Mal war es wieder fantastisch!

Dieses kleine Häuschen am Fuß des Chateau Talmont ist einfach ein Traum! Der große Garten, die Ruhe, keine neugierigen Blicke - so stellen wir uns Urlaub vor. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man sich vorstellen kann. Fahrräder vorhanden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, auch fußläufig. Natur in unmittelbarer Nähe. Laufmöglichkeiten und Sport im Garten kein Problem. Strände sind mit dem Auto in 10-15 Minuten Entfernung zu erreichen. Es gibt viele ganz unterschiedliche Strände in der Nähe. Reiten kann man ebenfalls. Und nicht zuletzt sorgte in diesem Jahr erneut der mehr als herzliche Kontakt zu Vermieter und Kontaktperson vor Ort dafür, dass wir im kommenden Jahr wiederkommen werden. Unbedingte Empfehlung für dieses Domizil!

Ein Haus zum Wiederkommen!

Schon der Empfang war mehr als herzlich und trotz unserer nicht vorhandenen Französischkenntnisse absolut reibungslos (mit Handy und live Übersetzung gar kein Problem). Das Haus ist sehr süß und typisch für die Gegend. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse und der Garten ist geschützt vor neugierigen Blicken. Die Einrichtung ist künstlerisch gepägt und hat Charakter. Hier verfolgt alles ein Konzept. Der Garten ist einfach traumhaft! Hier kommen sowohl Erwachsene als auch Kinder auf ihre Kosten: Den ersten Kaffee am Morgen auf dem weitläufigen Grundstück im sonnigen Liegestuhl genießen, Workout auf dem Rasen, Lauftraining rund um Talmont oder einfach um den See herum. Grillen. Bei schlechtem Wetter (leider war der Sommer 2021 ja nicht so super) den Kamin anmachen und die Zeit im geräumigen Wohnzimmer genießen. Holz ist vorhanden, wenn es zu nass ist, einfach einen Sack im örtlichen Gartencenter kaufen. Die Küche ist mehr als vollständig ausgestattet. Einfach super. Und was noch viel wichtiger ist: Die Matratzen in sämtlichen Betten sind sensationell! Bettwäsche wurde gestellt. Das war uns vorher gar nicht bewusst und die Freude darüber, am ersten Abend nach langer Reise einfach ins gemachte Bett zu fallen sehr groß! Im Bad gibt es eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner. Man darf also getrost wenig Gepäck mitnehmen. Genug zu erleben gibt es in Talmont und Umgebung auch. Tolle Strände in 10-15 Minuten Entfernung mit dem Auto. Das Chateau de Talmont direkt nebenan (wir hatten in diesem Jahr aufgrund der 1000-Jahr-Feier jede Woche gratis Feuerwerk direkt neben unserem Garten). Wasserpark nicht weit entfernt. Les Sables d'Olonne nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Reitstall Centre Equestre de Sauveterre ebenso. Bei Fragen stehen einem sowohl der Vermieter, als auch die Kontaktpersonen vor Ort jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt in diesem Haus!

Une semaine au calme près du château

Belle petite maison de vacances au calme, bien situé dans le centre ville de Talmont-Saint-Hilaire. Maison bien équipée, les petits + qu'on a pu apprécier : la disponibilité des vélos, le jardin avec terrasse, hamac et les chevaux à côté, le bbq
