Shelter Island is a lovely island community situated at the end of the North Fork of Long Island. Reachable by ferry only, it can be approached by the town of Greenport to the north and Sag Harbor to the south. The Ferry runs 18 hours a day and takes less than 10 minutes for each crossing.
Shelter Island has a lively summer community, with great restaurants, art shows and the Perleman Music Center, which offers free classical musical performances throughout the summer and fall. Ample opportunity for sailing and boating, hiking, bicycle riding, and other activities.
5 Worthy Way is a one-story property situated on a half-acre and shaded with old-growth trees. Large backyard lawn, great for kids. Front porch and back deck with Weber grill.
Less than 10 minutes to the beach (town permit required/not included), fishing and shopping.
Open plan layout with full kitchen with dishwasher. Three bedrooms: 1 queen bed, 1 double bed, 2 twin beds. Two full bathrooms, one with tub, one with a shower. Washer and dryer.

Our family has long-term roots on Shelter Island, with our first relatives building here after World War II. Until our generation, our parents were full time residents.

5 Worthy Way is an affordable summer rental in a very desirable community. We are pricing the rental at a rate that families can afford. The house is close to all the amenities that Shelter Island has to offer. It is move-in ready - just bring your family and enjoy!
What makes this property unique
Located on a quiet road and set back from the street. Large Maple and Oak Trees provide lovely shade, with a large sunny lawn in the back of the house.
