Professionally Cleaned using medical grade cleaners & sanitizers. Our small quiet town and long open stretches of beach, make it EASY to find a quiet spot and relax !!

The Lodge features: AT&T High Speed Unlimited Internet and a large, fenced backyard with 2 parks, the beach and a dozen restaurants within walking distance.

The Long Beach Lodge is a 4 Bedroom Home in the Heart of Downtown. A 1/2 block to downtown, 3 blocks to the beach. The LB Lodge has Dining, Entertainment & Shopping right around the corner, with two city parks just a half block away. This dog friendly home is fully stocked, with coffee, full kitchen, and even dog & people treats. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch or in the gazebo. Plenty of space with an open kitchen & living area with lots of seating. If the Long Beach Lodge is not available, please check out my other property, The Long Beach Hangout. Farmers market every Saturday morning in the main City Park. Fresh, local produce, honey, beef, dairy products, & arts and crafts. A little something for everyone!

“FIRST FRIDAY” Downtown Long Beach Block Party May through November. An evening long event centered on the Towne Green Park and surrounding area. A live band, classic car show/display and booths from local vendors. The action begins around 6pm until Midnight.

The Splash Pad in the Towne Green City Park is open May - October.

The Mississippi Aquarium is located 3 miles away in Gulfport. Please check their website for more information.

Winter Classic Horse Show Harrison County Fair Grounds. Starts the middle of February through the end of March. Some of the top stables in the country travel to the Gulf Coast to compete in a wide range of equestrian events. Admission is free and the fairgrounds are really beautiful this time of the year.

Exactly what we wanted and more

John has a very beautiful home and is exactly as described. The house was very clean with a large backyard, brand new BBQ grill, washer/dryer, perfect kitchen with upgraded appliances and utensils. Beach, restaurants and bars within walking distance of the property. John connected with me as soon as we booked; basically touching base on how he could make our trip a great one. Thank you for the stay John, you were a great host.

Beautiful Home

Home is short walk to town. Which we walked to restaurants, boutique, ice cream stores. Very clean and had enough room for 3 kids and 5 adults! Back yard was great and have room for kids to play. Neighborhood was very quiet. Owners are very nice and kind was willing to go above and beyond to make our stay amazing!

Perfect place

The property is a wonderful place to stay! Everything you need and want is in walking distance. The property is also stocked with everything you should need for your stay. This maybe my one of my favorite vacation rentals I have stayed in. Also John is the best host!

Detailed

The house had everything as described and the little details were covered too, including coffee, beach stuf, spices, plates, glasses, etc...The owner will meet you at the door and walk you through the house - perhaps a little unnerving for intraverts but helpful nonetheless. I would rent again without hesitation. The community is very friendly.

What a wonderful property!!!

We were so pleased with this property-it was exactly what we needed!!! John was so accommodating-available whenever we had any question. The house is so cute and clean! Everything you need to cook, clean, etc., is available-we cooked at least once a day and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, with close access to the beach, as well as cite local restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here or any of John's properties!!!

Wonderful gem of a property managed by an outstanding owner

We arrived really late at night and were welcomed in person by a wonderful host who gave us a tour of the property and outlined all the local attractions and foods, as well as all his personal recommendations. The property was charming! The bedrooms were comfy and the living area and kitchen were great! Our stay was made all the more relaxing by the fact that there was coffee for the coffee maker, 1/2 &1/2 in the fridge, laundry and dish detergent, and a whole bunch of the necessary spices and house supplies that normally force that midnight run to the store when you first arrive. There were even dog treats and people snacks! The neighborhood was quiet and charming and the beach was a quick walk - as were several restaurants. There were beach supplies on the ready at the property! We’ve found our VRBO of choice in Long Beach and will be back! Thank you!

Great Location, As Billed!

We booked this place for 6 adults, 2 kids, and a dog to celebrate a significant birthday. First, location is great. Multiple good restaurants/bars that are with a few minute walk. Better yet, the beach is a 5 minute walk or so. The house was 100% as billed, clean, and stocked with anything a person would need. John was extremely communicative and checked in several times to make sure things were going well. Definitely would and very likely will stay again! ZERO complaints.

Lovely Long Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at the Long Beach Lodge. The house is almost perfectly equipped. John and his wife included so many thoughtful touches that we really appreciated--hand towels, hand soap, Kleenex--those little extras that you don’t realize you will need or miss until you are at a location which doesn’t include them--John has thought of them all! We also really appreciated the big backyard, the nice dining room furniture, and the kitchen and bedroom amenities. The best part of the rental, though, was of course, the location. We loved being so close to the beach, as well as tons of good restaurants and shops. We highly recommend the scones at the Bank House Coffee--especially the apple cinnamon ones!

Perfect for our family reunion. John was very accommodating and informative. We had plenty of space to spread out and the kids had a great time running around the spacious fenced in backyard with the outdoor toys that were provided by John. Definitely recommend and we will return.

GREAT BEACH LOCATION

We had seven people ranging in age from 7 to 75. This property with its easy access to a perfect beach for young kids was fantastic. John has a very well kept home and great supplies for kitchen and typical rental hoe stuff. Besides that he provides beach towels, beach chairs, boogie board, and even plenty of beach toys for the younger people. It is also easy walking distance to several restaurants and other entertainment. Such as the town splash pad and a large playground. This place is a real gem!!!

A Taste of Home

House is always pristine and comfortable! John includes so many things with his rentals: snacks, water, fully stocked coffee bar, soaps, shampoos, plenty of dishes, cups...love this home! Of course, one of our favorite things is the backyard and the awesome covered pavillion with swing and plenty of seating. Thanks John for providing a piece of heaven on the coast.

Amazing Stay

This house is so comfortable and a welcoming space! We had 4 couples and kids. We were all comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. We grilled on the propane grill one night. Mr. John has everything you need for that (grilling tools and full propane bottles) and much more! The house is located within walking distance of a lot of places! The splash pad and drive thru daiquiri place were favorites! The beach is within walking distance but we decided to drive. Mr. John has beach toys and boogie boards to use, so no need to bring any of that! The back yard is pristine! The grass is beautiful and the lighting creates a wonderful ambience! He has worked very hard to create and maintain a beautiful and welcoming space! He also is there upon checkin to give you lots of advice and provides a nice binder with everything you would need as far as information! Cable and WiFi were great too, especially with kids being able to use iPads! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE! We will be back, no doubt!

There is nothing bad to say about our week long stay , the LB Lodge accommodated 5 adults comfortably. The home was well equipped with all the comforts of home. It is located on a quiet street and within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. The backyard is fenced in, which our 2 fur babies loved. John is an excellent host, he met us at the house, gave us a full tour and gave us recommendations on restaurants and tourist sites. If you are looking to stay in Long Beach, book this place, you will not be disappointed!

Walking distance to everything

Long Beach is such a cute little town. We loved that we could walk to dinner and the beach from the house. The backyard was great for the dogs, and the house was very comfortable. Would definitely come back.

Great Stay

Everything about the stay was great - the property was spotless and in a great neighborhood, and the host is very friendly and is there to help with anything that comes up. Nothing did come up during the stay but it was good to know support was there if needed.

Great stay with our dog

We selected the property because of the large fenced backyard and dog friendly host. Our mastiff loved exploring the backyard and hanging out in the gazebo. The home is super comfortable and we had everything we needed during our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with numerous restaurants within 5-10 minute walk.

Great experience, we have stayed at other VRBO properties and John took this to the next level, he was there upon arrival to make sure the home met your expectations and he showed us around and made us feel welcome and our pets too. Great experience and great location, we enjoyed eating at the Harbor View Cafe (within walking distance to the home) and other great spots to grab coffee, etc are walking distance from this home.

FANTASTIC

It is very difficult to please five picky, opinionated women at the same time, and this home DID! It is so nice to check into a home and not feel the need to immediately leave for the store. We really appreciated having ALL the amenities provided, but since so many other reviews mentioned those (toiletries, snacks, coffee, etc) I'll tell you the one I appreciated the most: Luggage racks in every bedroom. We are old! Not having to put luggage on the floor is a big, big plus for me and one very few vacation rentals think of. Loved it. Also, so often I hear that things are "walking distance." Absolutely accurate in this case! My 88 year old mother and chain smoking sister had no trouble walking to the Daquiri Deck one day and the farmers market the next. Not knowing the area I was also a little worried about not staying IN Gulfport. But Gulfport is a very short drive. And we enjoyed getting where we needed to be (and another couple REALLY good restaurants) just a short drive away. We made good use of comfortable porch and back yard. All very pleasant. Seriously, rent this house. You won't be disappointed.

Wonderful host! Great experience!!! Perfect stay!

John was a perfect host! He took very good care of us. He gave us all the recommendations of places to eat and were all spot on! The house was spacious and extremely clean. Me and my family were evacuated from hurricane ida and John went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We were unable to go home and made this time for us stress free. The check in process was smooth and he took his time getting us settled in the home. My two dogs did not want to leave, nor did I! He is continually accommodating us with another property as our home is still not livable. I can’t say enough great things about our experience. I will never stay at another hotel again. When ever life goes back to normal, this will be my go to place. Thanks John for all you did for us.
