Great location just outside of Sooke and very close to Potholes park. Property managers were very pleasant to deal with and responded quickly everytime!
We love tree houses and like to find different ones in different places to stay. Found the owls perch and was just what we needed for a weekend away. They did a great job on maximizing the space. The decor was everything I love owls and trees. The communication with the host was amazing had a question and received a quick response. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!
Property was clean, quiet and close enough to amenities. Would have been nice to have a gas/propane BBQ for cooking as the electric grill struggled to keep hot when lid was opened (but did work)
We celebrated our Anniversary at this awesome treehouse.
There is nothing like waking up to the sunrise out this window, mornings drinking coffee/tea on the deck, hiking all day and relaxing in the evening with some Champaine. (a gift from the host-Thanks again!)
The water pressure in the shower was excellent and the towels were wonderful. We would definitely stay again!
Everything about house is great. The only concern I have is that from the pictures I had seen on the website, I assumed the treehouse is located in more private far from other houses. But it’s one of the houses on the street, but the only treehouse between them.
The treehouse is a beautiful tiny home. It stayed quite cool while I was there in July even though there is only one window that can be left open. It is well appointed and the deck & canopy are lovely. You need. car or bike as there aren't any amenities. But that's part of the charm.
This was a beautiful location with lots of charm and attention to detail to maintain the treehouse experience. Beautifully built, extremely clean, and an overall great experience. We also appreciated access to the grill so we could cook and eat on the deck in the beautiful wooden atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Birthday and Anniversary getaway. Relaxing and serene stay. Great place to unwind and enjoy life!! Loved that we also got a little work-out doing the stairs multiple times a day. Would recommend this place 100%.
Super charming one-room cabin on an elevated platform in a very quiet off-the-beaten-path location. It was everything we were hoping for an more, enjoyed our weekend retreat immensely. We came in late fall, which made it easy to get cozy and stay in, but will seriously consider coming back in a summer month to get out and see some of the natural sights in the surrounding area.
Owl’s Perch is a magical and intimate property. We appreciated all of the hosts suggestions and adored the island as a whole! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Owl’s Perch to anyone looking for something unique and special!!
I took my young neice to the Sooke area for a short vacation. We stayed at a few places, the Owl's Perch was one of them. The treehouse style accommodation was excellent. Interesting, clean, and very well equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Very comfortable and quiet. The layout is different and interesting. Enjoyed.
It was a enjoyable stay will recommend it to friends the bed and furniture were comfortable very quiet and peaceful . It was also a nice walk to the SOB brewery
Could be more amazing if bed is not untop of the cabin hard to get down at night slippery steps and have a element to cook our favourite seafood that’s why we like sooke for its fresh seafood but tiny tiny microwave oven is hard to manage to do
We stayed at the Owl's Perch for our 27th Wedding Anniversary and it was a delight. Communication with Amanda was seamless and she would quickly respond to all of my questions providing fantastic suggestions on what to do and where to eat. The treehouse was clean and exactly as represented in the pictures. The only one suggestion I would have is the Wi-Fi. It was spotty but other than that everything was wonderful!
