Charming Florida cottage on 160 Canal Street, a sandy road in the heart of Old Seagrove. The house is located one street down (Dogwood) from the town of Seaside in Old Seagrove. ''Escape Plan 30A' is a short walk or bike ride to Hwy 30-A, the beach,and the town of Seaside.

Our home is beautifully furnished and very private, located on a canal.. This is a perfect place for families or two couples looking to get away for a weekend. Excellent location for cyclists to enjoy the dirt roads in Seagrove and the miles of bike paths along Hwy 30A.

The large lovely saline pool has a 10 foot privacy fence on two sides and overlooks the water and old Magnolia trees. The pool has a safety gate for children that blocks direct access from the house. . Both the house and pool are very private. Private outdoor shower!

Master bedroom has 12 foot ceilings, a flat screen TV. The private bath has a seperate tub and shower. This room overlooks the pool and has direct access to the large screened rear porch. The porch is furnished with ceiling fans, a second dining table and adirondack chairs for 4. The second guest room also has a queen bed, and a flatscreen TV . The third bedroom has double bunk beds that will accommodate 4, and a flat screen TV cabled for video game consoles. These two bedrooms share a hallway bath with double sinks.

The large living room has a vaulted ceiling and plenty of seating: double sofas,comfortable chairs for reading. TV with digital cable Blu Ray . The house has wireless high speed internet, you can sit by the pool with your laptop! The kitchen if fully equipped and beautifully updated. Linens, beach towels, and some beach toys are all provided, just bring your bathing suits and flip flops!

A great place to stay for the Seaside Songwriters Fest in January and the 30a Wine Fest in March! Take advantage of super low Winter Rates.

Spring break getaway

Perfect location in 30A, close to all the action but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We loved the screened in porch and privacy of the backyard/pool. House was well stocked and host was great.

A great getaway that felt like home

We had a wonderful stay at "Escape Plan"! Because it was winter, we did not get to use the pool, but it looked very enticing! The house was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. I love the layout with the primary bedroom on one side and two additional bedrooms up toward the front. It made an easy set up for us and our kids. The large screened porch provided a nice outdoor space and I appreciated the hook lock on the door and additional gate that could lock to keep my water loving toddler from wandering out to the pool. The kitchen was full of everything we needed! We also appreciated the trunk of beach toys that our boys could enjoy on the beach. It was about a 10 minute, enjoyable and shaded, walk down to the Sea Side village. We would certainly come back and stay again! I felt that there was more space in the house to spread out than the pictures showed, so that's a perk too! The layout was wonderful for a family or group of friends!

Perfect stay for 30A Songwriters Festival

This adorable cottage is centrally located for the festival and walkable to many of the venues in Seagrove. It was just 2 adult friends for our stay, allowing more than enough space for both of us. The kitchen is well stocked, and everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable (especially the beds!) The shower and all faucets had great water pressure! It was too cold for swimming, but the pool and deck look very inviting and fun.I also love that it has a screened porch!I wish we had more time to spend relaxing here! Communication with the host was top notch! Looking forward to staying again next year!

The house was perfect and had everything we needed and more. The porch swing on the back deck and the pool were so nice - we spent so much time on the deck! Cyndi was wonderful and very responsive. The location was just a short walk to Seaside and the public beach access. It was a little slice of heaven for the couple days we were there!

Escape Plan 30A is the best!

This is the only place I stay when I come to 30A. It’s like a quaint bungalow with so much character. Every detail is perfect!!! Can’t wait to stay again!!!

Charming rest

From the moment we stepped in, until the moment we stepped out; we so enjoyed a time of rest in this charming house in the wonderful Seagrove neighborhood. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was available in the home. We esp enjoyed the swings and private pool. And both showers were fantastic, something that you don’t always find in a rental. Plus plenty of towels. And we were able to walk to beach, plenty close with the sweet Market Cafe along the Route, stop in for Key Lime pie with lunch or dinner. But the best part of the stay was the owner, Cyndi. I have a new friend as she was so easy to communicate with from the time we booked until we unfortunately had to leave, but we will be back.

Lovely stay on 30A!

This was our 3rd time to stay at this property, and again it didn’t disappoint! We love that it is tucked away in the trees, and close to Seaside, 30A, & 395 to quickly get where you want to go. The house is cozy with plenty of room for our family of 5, and one story with no steep stairs to deal with. House is nice & cool with ceiling fans in every bedroom. As a short person, I appreciate the side by side washer & dryer instead of stacked. The beach access at Dogwood is not too far of a walk, or very quick golf cart ride if you don’t mind searching for a spot to park. The pool is a great feature to enjoy when away from the beach. The owner is always superb with communication - there was an issue with the patio door lock, and a handyman was sent out immediately to fix it. Can’t say enough about this wonderful property, and hope to visit again soon!

Best vacation yet!

We had the best vacation so far! We have stayed here 3 times now. The home is always clean, well stocked kitchen bonus always has more than enough towels even provided beach towels! There have been updates every year we come, the new swing on the back porch was awesome! With the small updates every year it shows how well this home is taken care of and managed! The beds are so comfy and the home is cozy! The pool was used a ton this year as we have younger children and the double red flags and red flags at the beach didn’t keep us from having fun thanks to the pool! We will be back! Cindi is a wonderful host! We have recommended his home to many friends that have enjoyed it as well!

Fun Time

The house is nice and accommodated the adults and children. It is located walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Information is provided for various rentals and good restaurants which was very helpful. It was March, the pool was still cool but nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Escape plan

This was a cozy home in the perfect location. We had 6 adults and two teenagers traveling together for our family vacation. Although the beds in the 3rd bedroom were more for young children not older we made it work. The home had everything we needed to make all our meals at home including a small grill. We thought the beds were comfortable and had no trouble sleeping. communication with Cyndi was very easy and she responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend the home to other families looking for a nice quiet get away to 30a.

Escaping Winter

Cyndi’s place was exactly what we needed to escape the winter. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The best part was that it was a very short walk to the beach and dining. We’d definitely stay here again.

We purchased this home in May. We completely fell in love with it as a vacation property for our family, as will as our future home when the kids go off to college.

Why they chose this property

The setting is so quite, but the fun is just a short walk/bike ride away. Seaside is minutes away - great food and shopping. The pool is lovely, with peaceful trees, but they let in a ton of sunlight. Plenty of room to relax, cook and hang out.

What makes this property unique

Great decor, relaxing furniture, equipped kitchen, screened in porch and lovely pool. Surrounded by trees. A must see - you stay once and you want to come back.
