Perfect Santa Fe home base. Stayed there with my parents and my in laws. Location was perfect - convenient to plaza but super quiet and great stargazing! Kitchen is big and nicely equipped. Bedrooms are spacious with lots of storage for belongings. Deck is beautiful and view is spectacular! Highly recommend.
We loved the property. Clean, easy to get to, and so peaceful.

Great Place!!
The place was awesome. Amazing views, lots of room and the hot tub was great! We would definitely stay here again. Communication with the property manager was not great, but we didn’t have any issues.
Property was very lovely and comfortable. 5 star property. It was a hot one and the AC was great. Cooled down at night and open windows was nice. It was clean and tidy. Only recommendation is a better coffee pot and a large bread knife. Highly recommend.
Our family of 5 (all adults) stayed here to visit our youngest son. The house was close to both downtown Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Opera (we saw 3 performances), which was really convenient for us. The kitchen was well equipped and the view from the back deck was amazing! we enjoyed the hot tub as well and will book again if we come to Santa Fe again. Thanks so much!
Beautiful home - close to the city center. Great view of the western hills from a well furnished patio. Easy check in process. Owner sent prompt replies and gave us good directions.

Lovely stay, but room for improvement
I’ll start with why I did not leave a 5 start review, then get into the positive. Check in was not easy. First, the address was wrong. Host didn’t seem too fussed about it, though I did not appreciate my 80-something year old in-laws waiting in the dark and cold because of this error. Host only sends a boilerplate email without any specifics (and wrong address) for check-in. I only received more information a few hours after check-in when I asked for some clarification. Even with more info, the details provided only make sense if you are very familiar with the property, and if you arrive in the middle of the day, which is not possible. So my advice: request all the details early and arrive before sundown. Secondly, they do not provide any specifics for the house. No house booklet with information about how the hot tub works, or the steam bath, or any other rarer amenities. Makes it hard to use them. It would be more seamless and welcoming with a small info packet like many other short term rentals. This little effort would go a long way. Finally, the person who cleans the hot tub arrived the morning after we checked in. It would have been nice to have received a heads up before someone randomly drove onto the driveway and entered the property without telling us. The hot tub was then unusable for days because if the excess amount chlorine, which defeated the purpose the rental for meLocation is good (not walkable though)View is wonderful. House is excellent.
As a five-star, VRBO host myself, I take these reviews very seriously. The house was generally nice…In need of a remodel to update the dated and lackluster interior, but the view makes up for this.
What was intolerable in this visit was a broken glass patio door that continued to drop shards of glass both on the deck and inside the home when the door was used. The owner did not inform us of this in advance and we did not know that the door should not be used. This resulted in broken shards of glass on the floor and one of the guests cutting her foot to the point where she could not walk around downtown Santa Fe during her stay.
When we told the owner about this, he said it was a decision that he made not to remove the door or at least tape the jagged glass edges and when told someone was hurt. He said “I don’t care.” this is not the kind of host I would rent from again.
Excellent place, clean and quiet
Nice home
Hot tub was a little dirty did not use it.
It was a beautiful house and the view for the sunsets was perfect.
Large property in very nice neighborhood. Great views and the trees all around make it private. Nice deck area and lots of space inside. Mattress in master bedroom was awesome to sleep on. Very close to everything including hiking and down town. Could use some property maintenance outside on the yard but nothing major. Overall pretty nice.
The North Hills property met our family's needs for a 4-night ski vacation. Our family included 6 adults and two young children. The property upon arrival was clean. The layout was great with two bedrooms on one side with an additional room on the other side that slept two adults and two children. Kitchen was large. Just a 3-5 minute drive to the plaza and grocery stores. Since we were there between Christmas and New Years, the weather was cold, however the house was always nice and toasty, with great views. I would caution anyone planning a winter vacation to heed the advice of renting or having a 4-wheet drive vehicle. The property driveway is on an incline, and due to heavy snow fall we were advised to park on the main road rather than the driveway. However, since the property is located on a hill, hence the great views, roads leading to and from the property can be problematic when there is ice and snow. We got stuck on the road on our way home, however a kind neighbor advised us that there was a back road that was less hilly. We managed to push the car out of the ditch and take the back road, which did prove to be easier. Knowing weather conditions cannot be controlled, I would recommend anyone considering this property during the winter months to have a vehicle that can handle snowy/icey conditions. Overall the house was great and I would recommend this property.
