Great cottage on the island

This cottage stay was excellent, very clean and amazing space for fun outside and inside. Management was easy to contact regarding a few small issues - we had a minor problem with the dishwasher, but otherwise the stay was fantastic and highly recommended.

Quick weekend getaway

House was very cute and had a nice backyard area. The pool and hot tub heat was not working but management had it repaired as soon as possible. Nice location and close to pine ave shops.

Great mini-vaca

This was a beautiful property. The location is in walking distance to everything. The back door alarms are annoying. And it could use a automatic mosquito system for the evenings. Pool was lovely and it was very pretty. For as stocked as the kitchen was I was surprised there were no pot holders. Just a couple thoughts.

Restful and Relaxing

We had a wonderful time at this property full of personality! We loved how it is a renovated historical home. The backyard is the perfect family oasis. The pool water was low (to the point where it actually stopped reaching the skimmer intake and we didn't want the pump to overheat), but we were easily able to hook up a hose and fill it a bit and the kids loved playing with the hose while it was filling. We spent our 20th anniversary in the backyard, relaxing and enjoying each others' company. Thank you.

Poor Management

We had high hopes for our stay at this property, especially considering the hefty per night price tag. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. Numerous issues significantly impacted our stay, and despite our efforts to communicate with the property manager, many problems were left unresolved. Hot Tub and Pool Issues: The hot tub, a major attraction for our rental choice, never worked throughout our entire week-long stay. Despite multiple attempts to address the issue with the property manager and promises of technician visits, the problem persisted. Additionally, the pool lights were also malfunctioning, further diminishing the overall experience. Pest Problem: Waking up to cockroaches in the house every morning was a disturbing and unacceptable surprise. This issue significantly tainted our stay and created a hygiene concern that we did not anticipate when booking this property. Structural and Security Problems: The floor being out of level, interior doors that wouldn't shut, and a back door that wouldn't lock without lifting it up added to the list of disappointments. These structural and security issues are not what one would expect from a rental at this price point. We understand that issues may arise, but the lack of prompt and effective resolution by the property manager was frustrating. Despite assurances, the problems persisted throughout our stay.

Very surprised!

Considering how wonderful the pictures look and the location of this property we decided this was the place to enjoy couples trip there were three couples that went. Before I start I want you to know this was all of us as a group that wanted to let future renters know what they would get if you rent! The home is in a great location close to beach a shopping in a cute neighborhood there is a large home that is being built right behind the home so every morning starting with the banging. The home could be really nice but needs major loving care we were shocked at how dirty the place was especially since this property is run by a management company! When we arrived sand was still all over the wood floors they left the vacuum in a corner full view in one of the bedrooms the bedrooms are small and there is one bathroom near the kitchen both rooms used we found a baby’s outfit lying in the corner of one of the bedrooms that was not ours so cleaners missed that The mother in law suite out by the pool was dirty and moldy the blinds in the front inside of the door were all moldy the bathroom backed up so we called they did come right out to fix it but it was a dirty room dead bugs all over the floors so they definitely did not sweep in there!! Inside the main house all of the airflow returns were filthy like really please clean those! The one bedroom upstairs has a bathtub so don’t think you will be showering upstairs there is just a tub also there is no mirror in that bathroom really like what bathroom doesn’t have a mirror! Ok now let’s go outside planters had dead old flowers that could have easily been picked out but no one bothered and they mention a starter kit well, each person gets one towel there was a small package of dishwasher detergent and a few kitchen towels they do have all the pots pans and silverware you need When we called them about the flooding bathroom I asked them about getting more shower soap and laundry soap and she said “oh you can go to the dollar store and buy more of that is you need it! The pool area lights were not on at night and if you want to lay out and tan by the pool forget it it’s all shade!! THE ONLY THING NICE WAS LOCATION POOL water AND HOT TUB WAS CLEAN” We just want you to know Owners should hire a new management company!!!!

Great location!

Property is in a great location and worked out well for us. It is an older home but nicely remodeled and decorated. We had one issue which was quickly resolved. They are great at communicating and responding quickly. There are 4 beach chairs and wagon which were a nice addition, along with 8 beach towels. We also enjoyed the hot tub and pool in the evenings. The backyard is an oasis in itself! Great location to Pine Ave. and the beach. Loved exploring AMI and hope to return!

A Week on Spring Street in Anna Maria

We were a family group of seven: four adults and three children ages 9,6, and 3. The house provided comfortable space with a lovely heated pool and spa in a pretty, landscaped back yard. There was plenty of comfortable outdoor furniture. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, glassware, silverware, and pots and pans. Any problems that occurred were rapidly tended to by the management company, AMI Locals. The walk to the Gulf was easy - just a few minutes - and the house is a block from Pine Ave, and the Bay. We have some recommendations for the owner regarding furniture, but overall, we would be happy to rent Blue Pearl again.

Beautiful backyard pool

We loved almost everything about this place. The pool and hot tub were wonderful! The house was cozy but felt spacious. Everything worked well. Very well located between bay and gulf. Easy walk to Pine street. There were some negatives though. The biggest was that there was no door on the bathroom in the poolside cottage. We called AMI locals to complain and were told that there is no door. (We could see that there had been door hardware at some point. ) I suspect that we didn’t get the whole story because no prior reviews mentioned this. Second was the alarms on the doors going to the pool area. They were very loud and it was hard to get in and out without setting them off. Our youngest was 14 so we didn’t need them. This may be a legal requirement. Third, you need to supply everything. There is no salt, pepper, oil for cooking, etc. We would have liked to do more cooking (kitchen is great) but we didn’t want to buy everything needed to prepare things. We flew in so this might not be a problem for others. (Restaurants were packed due to holiday weekend with long waits.)

Delightful hideaway

Exactly as described and everything you need. Would highly recommend. Great outdoor space. Has a separate granny flat building with king bed and en suite which is great. Minutes from everything you’d need. Recommend hiring a bike and cycle around the island. Do a sunrise walk to the peer which is moments away from the house.

Fantastic stay on AMI!

We really loved this house and property - it was pretty perfect for our family of 5. We felt so spoiled to have the beautiful pool all to ourselves. It was especially ideal on rainy afternoons that cleared the beach. The kitchen was gorgeous and had all the dishes and pans we needed, just be sure to bring along extra dishwasher tablets as they only provide two for the duration of your stay. We wished we had rented one of the ubiquitous golf carts in the island for faster trips to the beach, but the wagon was extremely helpful. Whenever I had a question, they were very prompt with a response and the ability to text was so convenient. Thanks so much for a great experience!

Mismanaged Property

We arrived on site to a beautiful living space. Found our clothes washer broken. Property Manager (PM) said they would report it broken and send someone out. Appliance repair man shows up with new pump the last day of our stay. He told us he was out over a week ago to condemn pump. This told me that they were aware of problem a week before we even arrived. No one prepared us to be without a clothes washer. No transparency! The kitchen sink constantly gurgled as if it was not draining well. We took showers with sewer flies. I reported it to PM and asked if they could send out a plumber. No response from PM. I asked that the PM have the actual manager call me and I got no response. I feel sorry for property owner who is paying a great deal for their services and don’t get services for their renters.

Fantastic pool and privacy

The property was exceptionally clean, especially for one that allows dogs. We’d never have known there had been dogs there. The pool was as inviting as the pictures made out. We paid to have it heated and it was very warm. It was a short walk to the beach and one block from Pine St, where most of the services are.

Majestic Blue Pearl

Anna Maria is a slice of Florida paradise and Blue Pearl is the perfect home to enjoy all the island has to offer and more! The house is so charming, bright and inviting! Each bedroom has comfortable well decorated king size beds and the 3 bath rooms are spacious and gorgeous. The kitchen/dining area is open and great for entertaining but the true gem is the pool area. The pool is large with mature palm trees that give you privacy and filter some of the intense sun. The location is ideal only 4 blocks to the beach and Sand Bar restaurant, 3 blocks from the bay Waterfront & 1 block from Pine Street (shopping). Living in Tampa I was able to have people over for the the day with ample parking. It was perfect.! The fact that they allowed my dogs was a bonus! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!!
