Tucked away near the Fraser river, this first floor 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo is the perfect place to make a fire and relax after a long day of skiing. Located in downtown Winter Park, it is a convenient walk to downtown to grab a bite to eat, or get some takeout from the surrounding bars and restaurants. With enough room to accommodate up to four guests, this condo can be inviting to an adventurous family of four or a quaint retreat for a couple of two with the free ski shuttle stopping just feet away from the doorstep. While enjoying the serene peacefulness of Winter Park, you can sip coffee on the deck or enjoy a healthy breakfast cooked from the full kitchen at the breakfast table. Put your feet up and relax while watching your favorite show or sneak away to the bedroom for some solitude and space.

When your legs are tired from ripping bumps on the Mary Jane side, the brand new Hi Country Haus Recreation Center is just steps away. Soak your muscles in the indoor heated swimming pool or slip into one of the two indoor/outdoor hot tubs. Dry off and enjoy a quick round of pool while the kids play in the playroom just steps away from you, or get a workout in enjoying the fitness room. End your evening with a show on the large flat screen TV or hop on the computer and use the printer to get ready for the fun day ahead. Husband is working in Winter Park and needed lodging for an extended time. Our wonderful host has been so helpful when we've had to extend the stay several times. My husband loves the unit and the location. Going back after Labor Day for another extended stay. Highly recommend. stay. HI

super well stocked and cozy check in was easy and polite not one thing to complain about accept I had to leave. Pool was warm and very clean spa tub and hot tubs perfectly clean. we WILL be back!! close to alll tourist stuff too ty for such good hospitality!!!!

Winter Park Jazz Festival

needs better air conditioning if there were bars the windows could be left open. There was alot of dust all over everywhere the floors had not been touch and there is no vaccuum nor mop. Other then I will return next year hope fully will be looking for a bigger space 2 bdrm perhaps. Thank you very much for making a way for us to be housed down there, During such a joyful time.

This unit is very convenient for access to Winter Park Resort with a shuttle stop just steps away from the unit. It had all the amenities that my son and I needed. The newly updated rec center is a plus. Hosts were good communicators throughout the process. We did notice some spots in the property that could have been cleaner.

Not a bad place and conveniently located to activities. Perfect size for a couple. The cleanliness was questionable in the kitchen and living room areas. I contacted the property manager about the exterior light by the door being inoperable. She said it was the HOA that took care of this. I discovered a guestbook in the condo, with an entry from Feb 2021 that noted the light was inoperable at that time too. Overall, the price was affordable, so I guess you get what you pay for.

We were there for a wedding at Headwaters. This condo was close and convenient. The place was a little older, but with a newer bathroom and many amenities provided. Owner was easy to reach by text when we had questions. My first VRBO experience was a good one!

Cozy little condo

This was a great rental for our Winter park stay. It was easy to find and access. Although the building itself appears to be older, there have been some nice remodeling work inside. The bedroom was very peaceful and the bed comfortable. There was a nice binder full of pamphlets for nearby restaurants and activities. The only thing I couldn’t locate was a scrub brush or a sponge for dishes. Otherwise, great cozy spot. Thank you for sharing!

Gets the job done

Pros * Owners are very reasonable and accommodating * Great location, close to the ski resort and right in the bus route * Has almost everything you need (they didn't have a hair dryer as listed but I'm guessing they'll buy one) * There are extra pillows, games, blankets in the closets * Good dresser space in the bedroom Cons - There are so many noises from plumbing and hvac and whatever else in the walls... I usually have no problems sleeping anywhere but I couldn't sleep here. This is literally the loudest house I have ever slept in. - The TV is a bit small and it's not a smart TV so cable is the only option - This place is very small. It was fine for my husband and I, but any more people would be so crammed. - It's old. The bathroom toilet seat is like a big wooden puzzle and was no longer glued together and always moved and poked me while sitting on it. Hopefully they will replace this. The shower shoots straight out and not down so you're always under the water. * It just really wasn't that clean but in all fairness the owners offer to send a cleaner if that's the case but I didn't take them up on it, I'm a bit OCD and so this one is kinda on me, but I don't like to ask for extra.

We are both teachers on the front range and want to share our getaway with others who love Winter Park as much as we do! We love to ski with our two children and drink yummy beers at the Winter Park Pub on a regular bases. We hope you have an enjoyable time and catch the Winter Park bug that we have.

Why they chose this property

We love the proximity to the ski mountain as well as downtown. This condo offers a place to relax all year round because Winter Park has endless amounts to offer in both the summer and winter season. We love the access to the lift, which is the public transportation system and the recreation center amenities add a little bit more luxury.
