Your Safety is our #1 Concern! My 2nd Home, LLC was founded by a previous General Manager of a Wyndham Resort. She brought her extensive knowledge through years of training on customer safety to this business. The staff at My 2nd Home, LLC is always putting our guest's safety at the top of the list of priorities. We start by providing professionally laundered linens through American Linen Supply Company (ALSCO). This assures your sheets, towels, bathmats, etc. have been cleaned using commercial machines with boilers and commercial grade cleaners which kill more germs than a home washer/dryer can do. We also make sure every surface of the home is wiped down with commercial cleaners with bleach, paying special attention to items such as remote controls, doorknobs, cupboard handles, and anything within the home which are touched by hands on a regular basis. We provide single use products rather than large bottles of shampoos, soaps, etc. which have been used by previous guests. Our goal is for our guests to have a safe, enjoyable time staying at a My 2nd Home property, knowing that the home they are staying in has been cared for and cleaned by the best in the business.

Spring break stay

Plenty of space for our two families. The property offers 3 different pools which gives hours of entertainment to kids. When we ran into issues the management was responsive and attentive. The budget paper products, kitchen towels and bath soaps could use a little more effort. Overall, comfortable stay.

Better than expected

We had such a fun time staying at your condo! The pictures don’t do it justice. It was very spacious, clean and perfect for what we needed. We will definitely consider coming back again next year during comp season.

Great condo, stay could be better

We've stayed in this condo before and the layout, patio furniture, and location are great. We were a bit disappointed this time by two things. First, the internet was very bad, to the point where we couldn't even watch TV much of the time. Second, two of the four pools were closed for most the week we were there. Not the owner's fault, but the HOA needs to figure things out and not have so many pools be down all the time. This happened the last time we came as well.

Perfect Escape

We had a nice little escape! Everything inside was comfortable and clean. Inviting and homey decor although it does echo. At night you can hear children from lower floors running around and can make you question if your hearing things. The pool was nice and warm. Hot tub was great as well. We did manage about an hour completely to ourselves. It does get pretty crowded later into the evening. Location is perfect!!! Short drive to all the fun around St. George! DoorDash and other delivery services were able to find the location (can be a pain in the multi unit areas)!!! Also the elevator is a HUGE plus for packing up the luggage!

Great place!

Perfect spot for a visit to St George. Twenty minutes to Tuacahn, tons of restaurants within 15 minutes. The place was immaculate, very comfortable for our family and well stocked. They had plenty of towels and dishes. We came at the peak of summer so it was very hot outside, but the AC worked like a dream and the fans were heavenly. They truly thought of everything and we were so comfortable. The property is excellent, the pools were clean and had plenty of shade. You couldn’t ask for a better set up. We will definitely be back!

Family stay

Comfortable stay. A few things I would note: drain in guest sink is slow and gets backed up. Trash bags are too thin and ripped every time we took it out. Washer and dryer were ineffective- washer didn’t drain and was a little stinky and dryer didn’t dry efficiently. Not being able to set AC lower than 68 was a little frustrating and everyone was hot at night. Other than that it worked enough for our family of 5.

Start of summer get away

We had a wonderful time. It was a very family oriented place. Adults loved it too. Head down to the historic district. There’s a carousel, a splash pad and a great kids museum. Then a short walk to Thomas Judd Mercantile. Really great shaved ice. Also went to Thunder Junction Abilities Park. Really fun.

Beautiful & Quiet

The property is absolutely beautiful! We needed a quiet getaway. We come to St. George often but this was by far the best property we’ve stayed in. The indoor pool was an added bonus! Thank you!

Great location near some great mtb trails.

Loved the location and the condo was really nice inside. They have a nice pool and hot tub as well. The only complaint was that it is hard to get in and out with all the speed bumps.

Pros and cons

Pros-great location, great pool facilities, pretty view, comfortable layout Cons-master shower takes hours to drain, bunk beds squeak, we needed to go shopping right away for toilet paper, dish soap, laundry soap, and garbage bags because they did not provide enough for our stay (only 2 of the 3 bathrooms had any toilet paper), very strong bad odor in the laundry room, kitchen knives and utensils were sub-par

Beautiful condo

The condo was big and updated beautifully! We Did have a power outage of some kind that left us only able to use less than half of the condos lights and power for over 5 hours from 4:30pm-9pm on our 2nd night there. Half the lights in the kitchen and master bedroom/bathroom were the only lights/power that would turn on. None of the fans worked nor the AC. The other 2 bedrooms and bathrooms had no lights/power at all, no TV/ internet. We tried contacting the property manager and could not get a hold of them, we left a message and never heard back from them during our entire stay. Luckily the power came back on after 5 hours. The power outage was due to something happening, and was a city issue but we had to investigate and figure it ourselves without any contact from the property manager. After the power outage the elevator did not work for our entire stay, we were on the 3rd floor. And most of the hot tubs would not heat up. All in all the condo is beautiful the resort could use a little updating but they seem to keep up on it. If we did not have the power outage this would have been an amazing stay. Which is why I gave a 4 star. I would have given a 5 star if we would have been able to have some kind of contact with the property manager.

Great time

In reviewing previous comments. I brought my own knives which worked great. Loved all the pots and pans and pasta pots. Plenty of room loved all the bathrooms. We did have an issue with noise from the bunk beds on the first night ,which was an issue on a previous review. All my husband did was place large pillows between the bunk bed frame and the wall. No noise after that. It does not damage the wall and keeps the bed quiet when our granddaughter moved during the night, and she was able to sleep the rest of the week. The master bedroom shower was plugged and drained slow. We just boiled water and put it down drain and worked great for us. We enjoyed the unit it was very nice and when we visit again we will work at staying in the same unit if available.

Property update

Overall it was a nice place to stay, we really enjoyed it and the pool right below in our view. However, a few things to note: kitchen knives awful, a squeak in the master bedroom fan, the bunk beds squeak every time the person moves, so nobody in the room gets any sleep either and most of the remotes didn't work, my husband felt they needed new batteries. Just a few things to fix for the next guys.

Family vacay

This was a very nice, clean condo with lots of space for everyone. We had a great view to the family pool. With just a few minor upgrades, it would be a perfect 5. Like others have mentioned, the kitchen is well stocked, but some of the tools/supplies are pretty cheap and flimsy. Kitchen bags are thin, can opener didn’t work at all, and the knives were so dull they were almost too scary to use. When we were trying to cut a watermelon the handle fell off the knife. 😱 The master shower was also clogged and took at least 20 minutes to drain each time it was used. Overall the place was really nice, and having these few things upgraded would definitely bring me back again. I loved the vaulted ceilings that gave that extra open feeling!

Great space, everyone enjoyed the layout and location! I like to be able to cook our meals in a rental like this, but the kitchen utensils and cookware were very flimsy. Seems like a nice listing like this should have more usable kitchen and grilling equipment. Otherwise, we loved it!

Here at Dusk to Dawn Properties, we understand what makes a vacation home right for our guests. We make it our business to find vacation rentals of the highest standard that go above and beyond our guest's expectations. By providing the finest in vacation rentals we can ensure that our guest's vacation is a success no matter which property they decide to stay in.

With over 18 years of personal Wyndham management, including general management, experience, and over 100 years with Dusk to Dawn Properties management team in place, we know what it takes to run a successful vacation rental management company. Providing quality homes, cleaned by quality employees, and providing quality customer and concierge service is what sets us apart from the rest. Whether you are renting with us or putting your rental in our hands as an owner you can be sure that you are working with the best.

Ty and Pam owned timeshares, and Pam was the general manager of a Wyndham timeshare resort while Ty owned and operated multiple quick lubes. But years ago they realized their timeshare quarterly fees just kept growing while usage of their timeshare kept shrinking due to the fact that the timeshares were rarely located in places they needed to travel for family events, etc. They hated using hotels/motels after being spoiled with the comforts of a timeshare, so they searched for a better option and started using marketing sites such as Airbnb and VRBO to rent vacation rentals. They soon discovered they could have the quality of a time share in locations wherever they needed, and not have to pay quarterly dues! So they sold their time shares, and over time, when it was time for Pam to take on a more regional role within the resort she managed, she decided she did not want to live the next several years in airports and cities nationwide with grandchildren close to home, so she and Ty decided to start their own business managing vacation rentals.

With Pam's experience in hospitality, the business has grown in leaps and bounds. They soon discovered that most vacation rental management companies come from a real estate background and have no knowledge of what it takes to operate a hospitality business. Pam knows that regulations to the vacation rental business are coming soon, so she insists on being ahead of the curve. This is why they have contracted with ALSCO for professionally leased and laundered linens. While most vacation rentals rely on their in-home washers and dryers, Pam knows from her training that only commercial washers reach temperatures hot enough to kill bacteria which can be brought into a rental home from guests traveling from anywhere in the world. Ty and Pam also discovered other management companies as well as personally managed properties allow various cleaning chemicals to be stored under cupboards or closets where children can easily reach, leaving the property owner with an unnecessary liability. As they began to manage homes which had previously been managed by other nightly rental management companies, they realized quickly that very few management companies had preventative maintenance programs in place, which Pam knows the importance of, to ensure the best condition of the property. Pam says, "Each property must have a baseline of cleanliness that must be brought back to after each guest stay. Straying from that baseline can cause long-term issues with a home that is unacceptable in hospitality standards and expectations."

Another concern Pam had was noticing that property management companies, as well as private managed homes, used either keys, (which can be easily copied) were stored in lock boxes with combinations which were rarely, if ever, changed. Or they were using inexpensive keypads which were also rarely changed. She knew there needed to be a better way to secure a property. So with a little investigation they discovered that WiFi locks were the latest technological advancement in the vacation rental industry and she insisted we needed to provide these locks for the properties we managed so we could ensure a new code for each guest which would activate at their arrival date at a specific time, and deactivate on the day of their departure, also at a specific time. Each vendor would also receive their own expirable code so that nobody could enter the property without her knowledge, thereby securing the property better than a key or cheap keypad lock ever could.

Pam's wealth of knowledge she has from her professional training, traveling to Seattle, Chicago, Las Vegas, Orlando, and countless more places over her years as a manager for Wyndham is priceless for property owners and guests alike. She brings a unique set of skills to the industry of vacation rentals which can be a great asset for a property owner wanting the best results from their 2nd Home.
