Swapped location
We booked the Grand Place unit about 2 months before our anticipated arrival. The week of check-in I received an email stating that the unit was slated for renovation and that we would need to agree to a different location. While the "Fripiers" location was updated and modern the unit was located in a very busy district with lots of street noise and bright flashing lights outside of the window until early morning. It was an upper level apartment with several flights of stairs. There is a small elevator if needed. This new location was in the hustle and bustle of the city but not exactly what we were anticipating. Our options were to either take the offered replacement or get a refund and find a last minute booking in this busy city...so we had no choice. Keep this in mind if your lodging is switcvhed with short notice. Overall a decent stay, but unfortunately, I am unable to report on the condition of this Grand Place location. The "reception" is their Smartflats office suite, located nearby within about a 10 minute walk. You will need to buzz the intercom at the door to gain access to the office and find your way upstairs to receive the key. Check-out also requires you to drop off the key at the same location.
