Excellent place to stay!

Group of old guys, most who have snowmobiled together since 1991 chose this property for a location to stay while sledding. Very quiet, extremely comfortable and outstanding location. We’ll definitely come stay again!ND Booys

A Tiring Beauty

There were pros and cons with this property. First the pros, it was in a beautiful setting. It was spacious for the ten of us. It was close to Yellowstone and Atv trails. It was well stocked with paper products and cleaning products. Now, the one big con. The property is not well maintained. From stains on the couches to sad pillows which should have been replaced months ago, the property is neglected. There is a hole in the deck of the porch which was covered with two ill fitted boards which were not nailed down. We contacted the caretaker about the grill which looked like it had never been cleaned. Her response was that it worked. We removed a half a garbage bag full of grease and rust. The plus side to all of this, if you have young kids you don't have to worry about them hurting anything.

Great cabin with lots of space

This cabin has lots of space and is in a great location for snowmobiling in the Island Park area. The hot tub is a bonus after a day of riding snowmobile. There is not any room for a trailer at the cabin so you have to pay a small fee to leave your trailer in a parking lot about a block away.

Sub-standard -not worth the price

The cabin was nice but interior items need updated! Not enough cooking items for 16 people, coffee pot was broken, 5 drinking glasses. Burned unusable pots and pans. Holes in towels, horrible pillows, smelly hot tub. Master bed fell apart and was unusable! Did not tell us we needed to contact the lodge 7-10 days in advance for parking until the day before our arrival. The location is great for the area, but this cabin was the worst we have ever rented.

Beautiful surroundings and cozy cabin.

We loved our stay. The cabin was comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing. We took in a hike close by called "Upper Coffee Pot" if I remember correctly. It was beautiful near and around the cabin. The only complaint was that the mattresses were harder than we are use to. But they gave us the cabin experience so I guess it turned out well. Also we would have loved it if they had had a griddle on site. We didn't bring one so pancakes on the stove took a little longer than normal. All in all it was wonderful stay and we want to do it again!

This is a nice place for a large group. It would be nice if the cookware/BBQ was updated. We ate most if our meals in. The pots and pans not so great. Questionable is the BBQ even worked its so rusted out.

Great For Big Family.

Our 3 generation family had a great time on our recent trip to Island Park. What a gorgeous area! Adventure Lodge was a great home base. It is roomy with enough bedrooms for all. 2 cars are alliowed to park at the cabin, but overflow parking was only a minute away and no big deal. Garbage had to be walked to neighborhood trash bins. Also not a problem for us. Loved using the hot tub each evening. The cabin could use some deep cleaning and fresh paint. We enjoyed our stay.

Overall a very pleasant stay at the Pines. The cabins are very nice and clean. The cabins are situated quite close to each other and so there was some noise being shared from other families but not annoying. We would stay at the Pines again.

It was a fun cabin to stay in. It had great space for our family.

Improvement suggestions: Need to clean better. The grill on patio was very dirty. Get new towels and supply more wash clothes and hand towels. The towels stunk after second use. Fix the sticky doors Need better ventilation. The cabin was very hot when we entered. I would have the cleaners turn on the fans. The first night was very hot for our family. The upstairs never did cool down, I would suggest some kind of window AC. Lamp in living room didn't work

The Adventure Lodge

The Adventure Lodge is a great place. I love the feel of Island Park. There were several issues with the cabin, though. First of all, we asked the property manager if we could check in at 2pm instead of the standard 4pm. She said it would be no problem. We arrived on site at 2:15 and the manager was there re-stocking. We had to wait until after 3pm before we were able to get in. The outside of the cabin is beautiful with a big front porch and a hot tub. Lights are hanging all over the front porch which is pretty cool. The inside of the cabin was dirty. There’s a certain type of dirtiness that someone can expect by staying in a cabin in the woods, but this went a little beyond that. We had to clean before we could get set up. The mantle above the fireplace was covered in dead bugs and a layer of dust. There were cobwebs throughout, especially in the windows, by doors, and in the kitchen table chairs. The laundry washer smelled like mold, and so did the white towels in the bathrooms (we had to wash them before using them which took half a day). The basement hadn’t been vacuumed because I stepped on a half-eaten sucker and my wife picked up an empty bag of chips from the floor in the basement. The basement also smelled like a dog had been down there. The bathroom doorknob upstairs was inoperable, so we couldn’t lock it. I notified the manager of these things and she didn’t have a response. I requested to speak with the owner before I left this review, and I didn’t hear from the owner until more than 2 weeks after our stay, in which he said “sorry our cleaner didn’t do a good job”. I assume all these issues will be made right. One can only hope.

Nice area, loved the extra ammenties

The cabin was nice and having the extra rooms and bed was great. Loved the ping pong and pool table, and jacuzzi. There are certain rules we did not know about the location when renting, which made it a little difficult. I would recommend them updating supplies, no measuring cups, could use some bigger frying pans, for big groups, and had no mixing bowls. Stated there was a griddle, no griddle. And has a crock pot that was not listed so I hauled mine up. Overall this was a nice stay and beds were comfortable. If bring ATV's or side by sides this is not an convenient location or cabin.

Fun winter cabin.

This cabin worked great for my family. We happen to get there with a foot of new snow and it kept snowing. They did a good job of clearing the snow and we had fun in the hot tub with the snow. The cabin was clean and had enough room for the 12 of us with plenty to do.
