Perfect property, excellent host! There could have been no better place for me, my husband, and 92 year old mother to stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying in this home!
The property was very clean and well organized. It was equipped very well, kitchen, lake toys, children’s books and games and amenities. There were plenty of linings and the beds were very comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake. The property owner was easy to reach and very responsive if we had questions. We had a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the lake. We would definitely stay at the Wolf Den again.
My husband and I stayed at the cabin with our 4 grown sons, daughter-in-law, and new grandson. The cabin was very clean and beautifully updated. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. We loved that we had access to use the paddle boards and kayaks. The whole family had a great time and would love to come back again!
The place was beautiful and perfect for our family! Very clean and the lake is so clean. Thanks for the paddle boards and kayaks as some of us had never been on one and really enjoyed the time on the lake. Highly recommend this place.
Our family likes to spend time together and the Wolf Den was the perfect summer vacation spot for us (6 adults, 2 children) to enjoy the week. We, the grandparents, spent four days with the grandchildren before their parents came up and had a wonderful sun-filled time. The cabin was beautiful and fully stocked. We especially liked the kitchen with all of the big windows overlooking the lake. We had plenty of outdoor activities to do- swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, on the pontoon, tubing behind our boat!
Bryon was wonderful to work with throughout our booking process, answering all of our questions and he was very available during the time we stayed at the cabin for other questions.
We recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to fully enjoy their vacation.
This program wouldn't let me give 5. stars. That's what I wanted to rate in every category. We were a family of Grandparents, a family of 4 and a family of 5. House was adequate for the 11 of us. Had a couple small things that came up in the house but Bryan saw that things were remedied very quickly. Loved the straight level yard. We used the kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, and rented the pontoon. Lots of water toys to use. Crystal clear water. Weather was good too. Owners were very nice and answered any questions we had. Had a spectacular week at this beautiful lake home.
This was an amazing rental property! We had 9 adults, 2 teenage boys and 2 small children. There was something for everyone! The shallow walk in lake front was perfect for the little ones to play all afternoon. The older ones were busy on paddle boards, kayaks and of course the pontoon boat... which is a must for fishing with a small group!! We wanted for nothing for the 5 nights we were there. Will probably end up in Hayward again very soon! OH! And the beds were super comfy!! And the showers were awesome too!! It truly felt like home!
We all had a good time. Many of us did Paddle Board for the first time and we had great weather.
Great place of all 11 of us . Kids did lots of swimming and we also used the Pontoon for fishing. Thanks Bryon for letting us use his Cabin for our get together
You know the feeling you get when you find out that something is better than expected? Well, that's what you will get staying at The Wolf Den. We've had some good experiences with VRBO in the past, but it was a great experience renting from Bryon. Communication was excellent from the day we booked the house right on through to the day we left. We were looking forward to the nice interior of this house and were not disappointed. It accommodated our family of 6 with ease. The kitchen was fully stocked and we loved grilling on the Traeger Grill. The house was very clean on arrival and the AC was already on, which was refreshing after a day of traveling. Grindstone Lake is an awesome lake to spend a week on. The sturdy dock is located above a sandy bottom and our kids liked swimming and exploring there. The lake is huge and has a nice sandbar area to relax from watersports. We also enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. The only negative thing I can think about is that by posting this positive review, more people will be booking, leading the summer to fill up too quick to get a spot. :) But in the end, we appreciated the chance to stay here and are happy to share our good experience.
With canoe, kayak, and paddle boards, and a great dock for our boat, this spot was perfect for what our large family was looking for. The property is newly remodeled and works very well for a large group. Great kitchen, eating area and living areas. The day beds were great. Bathrooms are very nice and the bedrooms with queen bunks work great. Thank you for sharing this fantastic property!
