The home is big, beautiful, and clean. Very convenient for our Seward Park weekend. We were Mom, Dad, Grandma, and two kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The home was recently extensively remodeled and has all the modern finishes while still having a traditional vibe.
Our family, two adults, four older children (15-23), stayed in Craig and Tammy's beautiful home. Everything was very clean and well appointed. We would definitely recommend and rent again.
Stayed here for Seafair. Beautiful house. Great location.
We had some bobbles in logistics with our trip and the host was super accommodating as we had to flip our trip around due to unexpected family issues.
The house is quite large and well appointed. The beds are cozy. It is a great place to stay with extended family.
Would stay here again for Seafair.
Really enjoyed Craig and Tammy's property, it was spacious and very clean. Communication was efficient and location was perfect. Thanks for a great stay!
My wife , daughter and I stayed over a weekend in late June 2024. The property was spotless and well planned. The area was safe - we walked to friends and nearby Seward Park. We had a very nice time and recommend this property highly.
This house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and the exact comfy cozy retreat we needed after days out sight seeing. The owners were very responsive. The neighborhood is great, restaurants a short drive or walk away. Lake Washington is right down the road. Highly recommend and hope to return!
My family stayed here while in town for a visit. The age range ran from 13 and 80 years old and honestly it was perfect for everybody.
The outdoor space was wonderful for summer dinners outside the living space is very comfortable and very nicely designed and appointed. I highly recommend this place for folks staying in Seattle’s south end and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
We loved this rental! The owners have done a great job with this renovated property. We had everything we needed and loved the charm. Parking was easy- and just a five mile drive to the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and the waterfront. After spending our days in the busy city, it was nice to spend the evenings in the quiet neighborhood.
We were delighted by our stay and had an incredible experience.
The house was spotless, well-organized, and beautifully decorated, with all the essentials for a comfortable few days.
The neighborhood felt very safe and is conveniently located just five minutes from the synagogue.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are certain we'll return on our next visit.
Thank you, Tami, for your exceptional hospitality!
So nice to have a wonderful house nearby for family from out of town!
This house became a comfy away setting for visitors.
So we’ll appointed and stocked.
Generous hosts.
This house had plenty of room for my family of 5. It was clean and comfortable and had updated amenities. The beautiful backyard patio was perfect for enjoying a nice meal in the fresh air. The location was perfect for us since it was walking distance from our family. Highly recommend.
We loved our stay at Craig and Tammy's home. The home is immaculate and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. That feature made it very convenient for each couple. The home is orderly and well stocked with everything you will need for an enjoyable stay. The neighborhood is quiet and walking distance to the lake and restaurants. The homeowner is readily available by text and very welcoming. The decor and furnishings in the home are restful and comfortable. The outdoor area is easily accessible to the kitchen. We would stay here again and will recommend this home to friends.
Three senior sisters, two of their spouse and one daughter, all from out of town, spent 4 nights celebrating the Bar Mitzvah of a grandson. The pictures and description do not do justice to this extremely comfortable house, with spacious living and dining areas, private baths for each bedroom and little alcoves for quiet time. We were too busy to make use of the small but charming patio. The location within easy walking distance of Third Place Books, coffee shop, burger place, etc., is a dividend, and Columbia City is not far away
The most lovely home in Seattle!! It is a gem for sure!
We booked with Craig and Tammy months ago when we planned to go to Seattle to see the Blue Jays play the Mariners. 4 adults from 71yrs old to 38yrs old.
The first hour we all spent in awe of the beautiful finishes in the home. Plenty of room for us, two large upstairs bedrooms and two bathrooms and a large bedroom on the main floor.
Beautifully equipped kitchen, large dining room table and little office area, large living room with two sofas round out the main floor comfort.
BBQ and raised dining pergola are nice and sheltered and quiet.
The whole place shows how Craig and Tammy have put so much care and thought into making sure their guests feel special, and we did.
Craig and Tammy were so wonderful in answering any questions we had and all the special little touches really made us feel at home!
Will be back, thank you!
Our recent Seattle visit was wonderful, and this property helped make it so special. The owners were great, the house beyond expectations--a totally remodeled Cape Cod 'Gem'--and it literally was a GEM. The owners thought of everything. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and spices; and even sharp knives (something you NEVER see in a short term rental.) You're about 20 minutes from all the touristy stuff downtown, but the surrounding suburban community has it's own charm and some great restaurants, and a fabulous grocery (PCC). Nearby is the delightful Seward park along Lake Washington with lots of walking trails, etc. This wonderful property became a super comfortable home away from home and we'll be back on our next Seattle trip. P.S. I kind of hate leaving such a deserving review, because properties like these become so popular it's hard to make future reservations-- oh well ;)
My husband and I came to celebrate Thanksgiving with our extended Seattle family, never expecting that we'd wind up hosting the dinner in our vrbo rental.. But once everyone saw the fantastically equipped kitchen, roomy dining area, and living room perfect for big-screen football viewing, our "Cape Cod Gem" became the meeting, cooking, and eating spot for the holiday. It helped to have the wonderful Columbia City and Seward Park venues within close proximity. Thank you, Craig and Tammy for this lovely, welcoming space!
This rental is even better than advertised. It is fully outfitted so that it truly feels as if one is living in one's own home. Not only was the owner responsive and clear with expectations, he was also appropriately flexible. There are clear directions to anything one might need from owner's manuals to neighborhood maps to thoughtful amenities. Delighted to recommend this place to others!
