About this property

A Garden Blessing | Serene Wooded Views + Hot Tub & Fire-Pit!

When you stay at A Garden Blessing, you’ll be giving your family—or yourself and your sweetheart—a vacation you’ll long remember. The one-bedroom cabin, which sleeps four, is just a few minutes from all the major attractions of the Gatlinburg area. What’s more, it’s packed with attractions of its own, including a hot tub and free Wi-Fi. The cabin even has its own washer and dryer for maximum convenience.

As soon as you pull into A Garden Blessing’s covered carport, you’ll see how appropriate the cabin’s name is. The partially fenced-in grounds are beautifully landscaped, and there’s even a small rain-fed stream coursing along the property. You can savor the peaceful setting from the large deck or the screened-in back porch. Because the porch is furnished with a bistro table and chairs, you can enjoy your meals out here among the fresh mountain breezes. It’s also a lovely spot to enjoy a late-night drink in the silvery moonlight.

French doors connect A Garden Blessing’s porch to the great room. Sunshine pouring in through the numerous windows accentuates the luster of the wood-planked walls, floor and cathedral ceiling. On chilly nights the electric fireplace will bathe the room in a cozy glow.

Then again, no matter how weary your muscles, a soak in A Garden Blessing’s hot tub is sure to rejuvenate them. Because the two-person tub is indoors, you can revel amid the steamy bubbles regardless of the weather. There’s no better way to cap off a day of skiing at Ober than with a soak.

Dining out is often a vacation highlight, and A Garden Blessing is only a short drive to scores of restaurants. Sometimes, though, nothing beats a family meal in the comfort of your own cabin or on the cabin’s porch! The great room’s dining table seats four with room to spare. There’s also a breakfast bar with three stools that doubles as additional kitchen counter space. Equipped with cookware, tableware and a full array of appliances, from full-size refrigerator to blender and toaster the kitchen can handle just about any meal. Thanks to the open layout, you can still chat with the rest of the family even while you work your culinary magic. What’s more, you can barbecue in the yard’s charcoal grill. As the end ends, gather around the firepit under the starry night sky for cozy conversations and marshmallow roasting, creating unforgettable memories with loved ones.

Like the rest of A Garden Blessing, the bedroom is an ideal combination of contemporary comfort and rustic charm. The king-size bed will have you looking forward to turning in early. If you don’t fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow, you can watch the bedroom’s TV or surf the web. The kids can sleep on the living area’s sofa bed.

Sleep might be the last thing on your mind, however. There’s simply too much to see and do. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only 15 minutes away, even closer is the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, an eight-mile trail of shops, studios and galleries. And in just 10 minutes you can drive to downtown Gatlinburg, home to everything from Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies to distilleries to the Guinness World Records Adventure.

Give your family memories they’ll long cherish. Book your stay at A Garden Blessing today.

Wonderful little place

My wife and I had such a nice stay here. Very relaxing time in the mountains. The house was exactly what we needed, the hot tub is inside a porch and covered from view. The outside porch is screened in and has rockers and a table and chairs. Outside is a nice fire pit area. It was a wonderful get away for us. The Alamo Steakhouse was nearby and had excellent steaks.

Great location

Great location right inside Gatlinburg. Close enough to the strip that it doesn’t take you forever to get down to the strip but just enough up the mountain to feel secluded. Right at the beginning of Gatlinburg so trips to Pigeon Forge are quick as well. Fully stocked kitchen and very clean.

Nice little home!!

Meant to leave this earlier. Stayed a few weeks ago and loved it. Perfect size for the 2 of us and although there were homes around us, it still felt quiet and secluded.

Best cabin we have stayed at.

Everything was great and just like the pictures. Only issue is needing a new bed. The bed is not horrible but still could be upgraded. Highly recommend this cabin. We will be going back!

Easy access, close to town

Everything was clean, easy to find property. Close to Gatlinburg and stores, especially if you forgot anything ; ) The check in and check out was a breeze, easiest I have ever experienced in a rental. The only problem we had is we wished we could have stayed longer. God bless this little “Garden Blessing” home.

First time in Gatlinburg won’t be my last

Great location, close to Gatlinburg but far enough away to feel like you are away and in your own piece of the mountains. The cabin is well furnished, cosy, comfortable and clean. The back porch is great and we even spotted bears one morning which was very exciting. We had trouble with the code to get in and after a call to the rental company and a few different codes we got it and had no further problems. The cabin is well stocked in terms of pots, pans, utensils etc but there are no basic supplies like salt, pepper, oil etc so just be aware of that in advance.

Short getaway with kids

We took our 9 year old and 4 year old for 3 night getaway. The cabin was perfect. Exactly what we were expecting. Very cozy! The kids slept comfortably on the pullout sofa bed. Master bed slept wonderfully. Lots of green space to run and play. Awesome location. Not too high up which turned out to be a blessing with iced over roads. There were only 4 towels which didn’t last long with two adults and two kids but we went to the store and bought laundry detergent and washed and dried them as needed. The listing said there was a hairdryer there so we didn’t pack one and there turned that there wasn’t one there. Would definitely retun! Just with extra towels and my own hair dryer :)

Construction noise

The first morning, a construction crew started work across the street at 7:30 a.m. We had to listen to CAT equipment, backup signals, guys yelling 100 feet from our door, and we had to breathe diesel fumes while trying to eat breakfast. The second morning, the crew didn't work because of heavy rain, so no problem that day. A heads-up from the property manager about this situation would have been nice so we could plan on leaving the house before 7:30 a.m.

Mountain Adventure

The house didn’t have very good lighting. There was no way to keep shower water from spreading over almost the while bathroom floor. The stopper in the bath sink was broken. We had to put something under it for the sink to drain. TV setup was not user friendly. We couldn’t use the overhead light in bedroom without the ceiling fan on. Glad we brought our own toilet paper. The tp in the bath was so thin and not absorbent. We probably wouldn’t book again in Gatlinburg because everything was so congested. If we returned to the area we would probably book a hotel in Pigeon Forge.

Bed and furniture suck

The sofas are probably close to 20 years old. They are the same sofas my husband and I bought for our new home in 2004. Upon checking in we reported that there was no plug for kitchen sink to be able to wash dishes and reported an issue with the bed. The box spring was broken and finally replaced the following day, however the mattress still was extremely soft and sagged in the middle. The first night we got no sleep at all. The rest of the trip we may have slept 4 hours a night. Hard to enjoy a trip when you are sleep deprived
