Large 3* cottage for 10 with large shared pool and fantastic views
Gite L'Ecurie is a converted barn. It is classified as 3* by the Tourist Board.The main room is large and has a wood stove. The furniture is comfortable and there is a TV with UK satellite channels and DVD player. Free Highspeed WIFI is provided in the gite and throughout the site. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a dining room and a games room with pool / snooker table.
The 3 spacious bedrooms can accommodate 10 people. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (can be configured as a twin room on request), and bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a double bed plus an adult bunk bed. The large dining room can also accommodate 2 fold-away beds on request and with a supplement; a travel cot and high chair are also available on request. There are three bathrooms, each with a shower, washbasin and toilet (en suite to bedrooms 2 and 3. The private bathroom for room 1 has a bath with shower).
Bed linen, bath and kitchen towels are included in the price. Pool towels can be hired.

We are Sarah and David and only moved to France in early 2015 to 'start a new life'. Previously, we ran our house in Devon as a highly successful B&B and do hope that we can continue to provide the same high level of service to our gite and campsite guests in France as we did in the UK! Between us we have six children and a growing number of grand children who we expect will be visiting us very regularly for long family holidays. We look forward to welcoming you to France too!
Why they chose this property
In trying to find the perfect property, we wanted to have our own space. So many gite properties we saw were all side-by-side in a single converted building. The beauty about Chez Sarrazin is that both of our family-friendly gites are each very private and are separated from the main house. The small and intimate campsite is quietly located in a valley below the property so everyone enjoys peace and privacy. And, we are just a 25-minute stroll to a lovely village with 3 good restaurants. Lastly, the swimming pool and its adjoining garden are truly magnificent with wonderful views across rolling Charente countryside.
