Rustic, comfortable, secluded, hand hewn, turn of the century log cabin
Very private original hand hewn log cabin secluded by itself on an 11 acre wooded lot down a dirt/gravel road approximately 1 mile off of a well maintained State Route. Very rustic cabin with all of the up to date comforts of home. The cabin sleeps 7 people comfortably. The 1st bedroom is located on the main floor and open to the living room with a queen size bed. The second bedroom is on the second floor of the cabin and is open to the stairway with a full size and twin bed. The third bedroom is just off of the stairway and is private with a full size bed. The kitchen and one bathroom are in a walkout stone laid basement. Very important to take into consideration before renting the steps are VERY STEEP to the lovely basement. Our main heat source is a propane Buck stove in the basement operated with a remote control and a set of manually operated gas logs on the main floor of cabin. Electric baseboard heaters for back up. The cabin is cooled by window and portable air conditioners in the summer.

My friend and I needed a day away from the city and this place nailed it. Perfect, cozy and quaint. Loved the authentic cabin feel it offered while we decompressed and enjoyed the fresh air.
The home was very cozy and quaint. It is in a peaceful location. The owner/manager responded quickly to any questions I had and was very helpful the entire stay. I would recommend this property as a nice weekend getaway.
This is the second time we’ve stayed at the MoCo cabin. Once again it was the perfect place for our group to stay for the week! Beautiful, clean space with everything you could need. Lynn is a fantastic host! We look forward to coming back again next year.
Such a wonderful property just what we needed for some relaxing r/r. Very accommodating if you are a fan of historical cabins this is THE place. Lynn is a super host and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back in the fall.

We had an amazing experience during our short stay at MoCo. Lynn was super responsive and helpful every step of the way. We came to the area to hike around Hocking Hills, which was only about an hour drive. Staying in the cabin, playing board games, and getting cozy next to the fireplace was definitely one of the highlights of our weekend. We had children with us aged 7 to 13 and every one of us loved it. We would absolutely stay here again!
This cabin is so neat and unique! Three cozy stories beautifully decorated (the pictures don't do it justice). When we arrived the home was warm and cozy, lights already on. I wish the weather had been warmer so we could have enjoyed the fire pit more and the view of the woods out back. Lynn has thought of all your needs ...stocked with toiletries, first aid, hair dryer, etc. I would not advise it for anyone with issues climbing stairs....the home layout means lots of stair climbing needed. Wifi signal was very strong, which was good because we did not have any cell phone service (Mint Mobile and Boost). Such a neat experience staying in this hand built home!
