The Lac des Estives holiday village is located in the Parc des Volcans in Haute Auvergne, on the Cézallier plateau on the border between Cantal and Puy de Dôme. Its central position will allow you to easily visit Auvergne, its lakes and volcanoes.
It is an atypical environment that awaits you at the end of the road: the holiday village is in the middle of summer pastures at an altitude of 1220 m. You will be immersed in a setting close to Scottish lands and Mongolia. The panorama is magnificent with the view of the Sancy massif and the Cantal mountains.
The Canada chalet is ideal for an unusual stay. Alone at the edge of a 3ha lake where you practice fly fishing, nestled in the fir trees, you will stay in a peaceful natural environment. You can stroll there, rest, admire the sunset over the lake and taste this Zen atmosphere, far from our civilizations.
This 24m² chalet is made up of a living room with kitchenette (gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes), dining area and double sofa bed, 1 bedroom with 2 beds bunk beds (pillows, duvets and mattress covers provided), a bathroom with shower, sink, wc and a terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue.
We only rent it from May 1 to September 30 by the night or by the week.
For your activities with family or friends, you can enjoy the heated indoor pool (open from April 13 to September 30), the pétanque field and the games room (billiards, table tennis, table football) , wooden games). At the reception, Wi-Fi access, a library and a toy library are available.

The Lac des Estives can be the center of your green holidays, nature is magnificent and unspoiled (Zone Natura 2000), walks and hikes are numerous: Mont Chamaroux, the Saillant waterfall, the PR3, the PR5 and the GR30, Puy du Sancy and Puy Mary.
It is also a starting point for visiting cheese farms, castles, the medieval city of Besse, strolling on the bicycle-rail, discovering mountain lakes or spending a day at the Vulcania amusement park.
This territory is idyllic for astronomy: the high plateaus of Cézallier offer total darkness without light pollution.
